Been going here ever since we moved back to Elgin 17 years ago. I have been to just about every other Chinese place in the area and I still think Chinese Wok is the best. I will say their prices are slightly higher than others, but well worth it since the quality level is so much better. Found out a couple of years ago that the family commutes every day from China town in Chicago, so they bring many fresh ingredients with them from there. Maybe this would explain the high quality level?

Small and cozy spot. I went in ordered and it was all $19 without tax.(21 with tax). Out of there within the 10 mins the guy said. Got to my home and all the food was hot and tasted fresh. All in all the place might look a little sketchy but pretty good food with a pretty low price. I enjoyed the food and definitely filled up all 3 of us and all our large boxes are about a little past halfway. Overall,great first impression. Will be coming back next time.

Delivery boy was rude and yelled at me because I didnt answer my phone and he had to call back 2 mins later. Never again! The food was awful on top of it! I called the restaurant and they were even more rude instead of apologetic. I wouldnt get this food for people I hate. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Stay away/

The food is amazing. Ive ordered from there twice and both times I was impressed. I asked for them to make my shrimp fried rice spicy it was no problem. Pricing is also very reasonable. I ordered the fried rice crab Rangoon and egg foo young and paid $25. Im overly happy with my order.

Unbelievable. I wanted an order for pick-up so I called. After the phone rang for about 5 minutes, someone picked up and told me to call back in 15 minutes because he was too busy to take my order. I WILL NEVER CALL AGAIN. This is absolute bush-league amateur behavior.

Im new to the area so I wanted to try good Chinese food around so I gave them a try, I hated the food the first time months later I decided to give them a second shot to try some of the other dishes and yuck!! I hate it!!!!!

Canceled my order after hearing nothing for over an hour of waiting. Rude over the phone and unapologetic for the excessive wait. Dont waste your time here, plenty of other food places in the area.
