The Bread and Butter Cafe is an excellent breakfast eatery. The modern interior combined with excellent service makes for an enjoyable atmosphere. I was greeted with a smile from the moment that I entered the restaurant and seated immediately. Not long after being seated a waiter came and offered my father and I coffee. My father said that the medium roast coffee was enjoyable and the waiter never let it become empty. Our food came in an extremely timely manor. The presentation of the food was immaculate. Their signature french toast had a vibrant appearance; the orange color really made it pop off of the plate. Their bacon had a tasteful, smokey flavor to it and their sausage links were very tasty as well. The buttermilk pancakes were also delicious and were a perfect combination of thick and fluffy. Overall the service was great and food was spectacular. If you and your family are looking for a great breakfast place, the Bread and Butter Cafe is the place to be!

went there this morning for the first time since it changed owners. good food, friendly service, and soft pleasant music. and...decor was totally updated to very pleasant tables, chairs and booths. sad to say, but the former place was terribly dated. highly recommend you visit.

Wow! Stumbled in for a late breakfast and what a find!! The #1 was outstanding with an excellent piece of ham. Rave review on the Strawberry Nutella Crepes!! Service matched the food as well. Dont tell anybody! Lets keep it to ourselves!

Best-Ever dining area, music, and professional staff. Service AWESOME and quick. Food cooked well and melted in my mouth. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. The butter is awesome!

Ordered #3 scrambled medium and toast. Coffee was good. Eggs burnt, ham dry, and toast cold. Service was not there. Busboy was better than the server.. Mr. As Restaurant in Roselle has the best ham.

The staff is friendly and the decor is pretty and cozy. However the biscuits and gravy I had was pretty average. Food overall couldve been seasoned better. Prices are very reasonable.
