I really want to like this place. I enjoy Sushi House downtown, with the server who always tells jokes and the tatami tables. Moshi Moshi had the best sake sushi...just melts in your mouth! Tokyo Bay has a great atmosphere and good food. But Wild Tuna is right around the corner from us and would be very convenient for a family that eats sushi at least twice a week. But last night we ordered take out and I paid $9.50 for two pieces of unagi ($7.00 at Sushi House), $6 for 2 sake ($4.70 at SH) and $12 for two uni??? Wha???? $6 for one piece of sushi? And they were average in flavor and size. I called to express my dismay, and the woman who answered the phone said that they had recently raised their prices but their fish is fresh, not frozen. I have not called around (although I suspect that the above places are fresh as well) but when I think about it, if the texture and flavor is just as good...I dont care if its previously frozen! Sorry, but Im out of business with this place.

This is my favorite place to get sushi (there are tons of bad sushi joints in the burbs). The food is authentic and great. The atmosphere is more modern and not really traditional but its usually quiet and I often see business people bring in their laptops to work while they eat. This place is great for family dinners, lunches with friends, business lunches, birthday meals, etc. Like most sushi joints, it is expensive to eat here, but since the food is better than any other sushi restaurant in Naperville you might as well go here if youre willing to spend the money. The fish tastes fresh and is always beautifully prepared. Service has always been great for me except for one encounter with a rude waiter making remarks about how we didnt order enough food for 3 people (the bill was $80....). I definitely recommend Wild Tuna if youre willing to spend money on a sushi meal.

I used to come here all the time for fresh good quality sushi with amazing service. Ive noticed that the wait staff has changed and also the quality of the ingredients and the food. Tonight when we a requested a roll be remade, and the chef simply poured some sauce on top of it. I asked them to please remake it and speak to the manager. The manager and my waiter were taking shots with the table in the corner and were appearing intoxicated. The manager came, acting belligerent, and yelled at me and my family. I reminded her I come here all the time, bring my family, and always recommended this place to all my friends. She continued to yell and make a scene. It was an overall embarrassing display. The food is not what it used to be, see recent reviews if you dont believe me.

A neighborhood gem. I went with my wife and our friends who live nearby. Service was a bit rough with a new waiter. Atmosphere is great, and the sushi offerings are creative, not just a bunch of knockoffs of California rolls and things with cream cheese. We started with a mushroom soup that was amazing. Very spicy oyster shooters were great. The spicy tuna roll was bland, but we all loved the other maki and nigiri we had.

Hands down the best Sushi in the far west suburbs of Chicago. None of this Hibachi cook in front of you garbage. Just REAL Sushi chefs out front and center, preparing your Sushi. While I love places like Domo77 and other Sushi/Steakhouse type places. There is something to be said for a place that just does Sushi and does it well! Ingredients are excellent and fresh and the staff is amazing. GO HERE.

The food is good, no question but it is Really expensive. $7.50 for 2 pieces of sushi - $20+ for a specialty roll, $17 for a standard lunch bento? This isnt downtown NYC or San Francisco - its 1/4 mile from a cornfield!! Price may be no object to some folks, but for me, even though the food is good, i cant get past the feeling that i am getting ripped off.

I am Chinese and all the workers including the boss in there is Chinese because I understand when they are speaking. I over heard the boss yelling at the guy rolling the sushi because he dropped a meat on the floor and he threw it in the garbage and the boss told him to just pick it up when know one is looking.

We have tried at least a half-dozen sushi places in the area, and this one leaves them all in the dust. Fantastic sushi - and while not inexpensive, its not terribly overpriced. The Wild Tuna Maki itself is out of this world (but slightly spicy-watch out!)

By far my favorite sushi restaurant in the area. Plenty of variety on the menu (even for non sushi eaters). Daily specials often run out (which is good), love the live scallop and blue fin. Great bar and drink selection, friendly owners.

Great place with fresh sushi. Manager and staff were very friendly. We live out of town but every time we are there we stop by. If not a large group sit at the bar it is a lot of fun.

Went here for the first time tonight. Delicious!! Great service, too. Even my anti-suburbia boyfriend said it was better than our old favorite spot in the city. Cant wait to go back!

Excellent food and the staff was great. We are very picky eaters, and we will go back. They could stand to bring in a quality beer selection that would match their high quality food.

Always extremely fresh, professionally prepared sushi and sashimi. Their specialty rolls are always a good bet. Been here 5 times now, not one bad experience yet.

Wife and I love this place. We eat quite a bit of sushi and this place definitely can hang with the best of them. Without a doubt the benchmark in the area.

Sushi is good and fresh but not a lot of options for people with mild shellfish allergies (contamination okay, no direct consumption).
