Came here for the first time and quickly fell in love with the food. The staff was super-friendly and seemed genuinely excited that this was my first time coming to the restaurant. While you wait for your food, do yourself a favor and order some chips & guac - its outstanding! The tacos are medium-ish in size, so you might have to order 3 or 4 if you want that pleasant "Im full felling". Try the soy chorizo, its actually amazing. Each taco was flavorful and unique. Not a bad bite in the bunch! Looking forward to my next trip to town so I can try some of the other tacos on the menu! The only suggestion would be to move to a larger location to have more seating.

I usually dont review but I had a taste for tacos driving home one day and decided to look up a authentic Mexican place and try them out. Totopos showed up and thank sweet baby taco God they did. Small place with 2 women working their butts off guessing family owned. Took about 20 minutes to get my order, they were busy, for 6 tacos, enchiladas dinner and guacamole and it was worth it. Top 3 best tacos I have ever had for sure. Will be coming back very soon. Word of advise, order ahead of time if you are getting it go so you arent waiting 20 minutes.

Great place to get authentic Mexican food. If you have lived in Mexico and miss the food this is the place to come too. This is not a TexMex American Mexican food restaurant. At Totopos they serve tacos just like the ones you get at a taco stand in Mexico City of Puebla or any other number of Mexican cities. They have a nice selection of real Mexican food that will fill your appetite for the Mexican food you missed. If you miss the taste of Mexico come here.

Yes! I cant say enough about this place. Ive been looking for a good "auténtico" restaurant around here for a long time, and Im very glad to have finally found it! We particularly enjoy the seasoned pork tacos and the veggie quesadilla. Their salsas are killer, and the beans (refried black beans) and rice (with carrots & peas) are a few notches above other restaurants in the area. Spring for the chips & guacamole -- you will not be disappointed.

Wow! Mouth full of flavor, fresh fresh fresh ingredients, authentic recipes, and very nice owner from humble beginnings. Tip #1 - call and order ahead. Tip #2 - dont go here thinking you can sit down; its a small takeout place with just a couple of tables. Tip #3 - order a few different things - everything tastes so different than a regular Mexican joint, and youll love the new experiences.

Agreed, simply the best! There is no comparison. The owner is a sweet lady and cooks with love. Please support her instead of Potters and all the cheapo Mexican places that buy their food from restaurant depot and transport their food in their dirty warm vans. My kids and I love Totopos food. The sauces are mind blowing. They also serve real Mexican Coke. Closed Sundays :(

I love the food here, like some people said this place serves truly wellmade and handmade goodness, i ate until i could no longer, looks like a family owned place, which is always wonderful to see. Affordable prices, high quality fresh food, an assortment of popular Hispanic songs. Definitely recommend to try! Note: No Dine-in after 8:30 pm only Carry Outs.

Totopos is a very good authentic mexican restuaruant. They stand above the rest because they are not typical american/mexican fast food. They still offer the classic menu items and it is still more of a fast food restuaraunt but they take their time in making the food and make an effort to use quality ingredients that do not contain HMOs or antibiotics.

I love the Mexican food and here their plates are huge, the bean paste and rice is like a meal by itself. The food is really good. I wish you could add more stuff to your burrito but when i came in there they said couldnt do guacamole in the burrito which suchs. The food is good. Taco were alright i had better but still great if your craving

I just happen to stumble across this place & so glad I did. I googled best taco reviews Naperville & this restaurant appeared. Excellent ratings & most raved aunthentic. I would not consider it a dine in restaurant; however they do have 3 tables. This food taste like it was prepared with love & history. Call in & enjoy great take out.

These are the worst tacos ever!!! Nothing like el Tio tacos on River St in Aurora! I bought 4 tacos of asada for my husband and two of el pastor and I must say it was disgusting!! It made my husband and I sick with a bad stomach ache. Been to many tacos places but this one I had to write my review on how bad they were!!

Tried them out for the first time and was not disappointed. I was looking for a new Mexican restaurant since my work office moved and I was too far from my usual place. Their steak burrito was fantastic. Service was quick and very friendly. Not a single complaint. I would recommend this place to anyone in an instant.

Just ate lunch here for the first time today and it surprised me. It is definitely a hidden gem and now my favorite Mexican place in the area, hands down. The chorizo and egg torta was amazing as were the asada tacos. Great horchata as well (not at all watered down). Best meal Ive had in a long time!

Really good food. Great salsas. Had the al pastor torta and a steak or asada taco. I was very impressed. The only thing that I can be upset about is that they only have three tables so ill probably have to take out more often. Definitely worth a try if you want something new. Will definitely go back.

Last week I was waiting for my car to be serviced at Fair Oaks Ford when I wandered in this place. Delicious, freshly made, nice lady at the counter, and priced right. I had steak and barbacoa tacos.....delicious. Going back tonight for more!

Los tacos al pastor están muy ricos. Quieren tacos como los del DF? Esta es una excelente opción.

Awesome, Delicious food! Serving sizes are great. Definitely a hidden gem amongst its fast food neighbors, a fantastic healthier choice! Plus they have vegan options, which is also a bonus option!

Tiny place to eat in with 3 tables. Food was amazing. It looked as well as it tasted. The red salsa was the best Ive ever had. They were very friendly. Highly recommended for take out.

Terrific Mexican food, made and served with passion by the owner. Only 3-4 tables, but eating in is a great experience - if only to get more of the awesome salsas. Highly recommended.

The food is very good and prepared fresh but Texas still has the best taquerias in my book. The tamales are very good but could use a little more meat and less masa harena.

Great place to go for tasty, fresh and authentic Mexican food. Friendly service and good prices as well. Most consistent place I have been to in the area.
