Date night with the wifey, looking for a place that would suit her fancy. The menu here seemed to pique some interest so we stopped in on a cold Chicago night. Note that its located on the street that leads right up to the AMC theater. Its in the new section of the shopping center. We decided on a set of small dishes to get some variety, and on the recommendation of some reviews, settled on these: Crispy brussel sprouts and kale salad - There are those people where just the sheer mention of brussel sprouts or other vegetables make them gag, but my theory is that your parents are to blame for your ignorance and hate, because these brussel sprouts and veggies are darn good. Favorite dish of the night. Smoked Scallops - $15 for three? Cooked very nicely, tender, and the pickled tomatoes were quite good. But I come back to $15 for three scallops? I should have gotten a dozen oysters! They were good, but $15 for three seems...ridiculous. I dont know how you would have even shared this dish. Carne asada bone marrow tacos - Rich and tasty, with the perfect spicy sauce--great for a cold night. Id get this again, but Im not crazy about it. Real Crab california roll - We were just hoping that it would match the amazing huge crab california roll that we got in Hawaii a few years ago, but we reminded ourselves that snow crab is more of a mild tasting crab--not like dungeoness crab. So keep that in mind--this is a good roll and they didnt cheap out on the crab, but snow crab just doesnt taste that crabby so the roll turns out to taste sort of bland. Tres leches chocolate cake - Asked for a dessert suggestion that wasnt something super sweet, and our waiter suggested this. Very good call--not too sweet, very chocolatey, and the house whipped cream on top was light and also not sweet. Great finish to this meal. Service was attentive and quick, but as others have said, they are just a hair on the overbearing end. In my mind, perfect service is knowing what I want or need without me having to ask it--and then get in and out as invisibly as possible, unless it involves my response of course. They definitely delivered on a good service experience but I think that if you were in a real involved conversation, the interruptions would not be as welcome. I cant fault them for being attentive though, and I think theyll learn the finesse parts of the job soon. Overall, the price reflects the ambiance, service, and the attention to the food they put together. Definitely a very nice date or classy dinner spot, but I wouldnt be visiting here for dinner too often. More of a special occasion place, but well be back!

Second year at their Mothers Day brunch today, and theyve done a good job both years. It is extremely crowded and busy for Mothers Day but my water glass was kept filled and our server check in on our table regularly. The food is also pretty good for a crazy busy day, and has a wide variety. This year they had a whole roasted pig and delicious Filipino style grilled chicken at the carving station. Last year they had a prime rib. The standard brunch fare--French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage--were complimented by more sophisticated selections like pot roast, baked salmon (with fried parsley-yum!), sea food cocktail, fruit platters, and a lox platter. I know the fries and chicken or fish fingers arent supposed to be the main attractions at brunch, and it wasnt, but their fries really are very, very delicious and crisp.

E + O is one of our favorite local restaurants. You can go for a quick bite, you can take the whole family, you can go for a romantic evening. It has a full bar, outside seating, plenty of dining room space, and has a private room for booking events. The food is amazing, you HAVE to try the Brussels sprouts salad, it is INCREDIBLE. The sushi is also fantastic, and the menu is constantly being updated with the seasons so its always different. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Definitely make a reservation on the weekends and it is a little bit on the spendy side because it is high quality cuisine. Also, take advantage of the free valet, parking is usually impossible. Great restaurant with all different kinds of comfort food on the menu!

The small plates were enjoyable. The crispy brussels sprouts and kale had a satisfying crunch and a nice kick from the sweet chili sauce. The shrimp tempura was crispy and sweet and a great appetizer. The entrees left a lot to be desired. I tried two of the pizzas (the Seoul and the sausage). The Seoul pizza was a bit bland for what I expected from a pizza with kimchi and jalapenos on it. The sausage pizza was best described as flavorless mush, possibly one of the worst Ive ever had. The sesame chicken had some flavor and was well cooked and tender, but was nothing special. Expected a lot more from the entrees given the prices and atmosphere.

First time eating here tonight and I will definitely be back. Great place for a date, small group or girls night out. My friend and I shared the brussel sprout and kale salad (soooooo good), tuna poke, and the ribeye. Food was great. Drinks and wine were delish! Nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. They definitely take care of their customers and want you to have a great experience. Cant say enough good things about our server Billy. He made great menu suggestions and was very knowledgeable. We loved his general enthusiasm! Give this place a try. You wont be disappointed.

Great spot! I was staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites (discount for staying) about 100 yards away and walked down. I decided to sit at the bar as I was dining by myself. Great atmosphere and excellent menu for the foodies out there. Bar manager recommended the Adobo pork belly with a side of sticky white rice which was phenomenal! Great wine and cocktail list too! Everyone around me me was ordering the Brussel Sprouts small plate and very impressed. Highly recommend!

Brilliant food. We had the Duck Hash which was the killer dish we will get every time no matter what. The rest was solid Americanized tapas style dishes at an appropriate price. Service was quick and friendly which was a surprise because the decor tries to invoke a trendy downtown high end restaurant. We will return.

Great menu that offers a diverse selection of small plates, sushi and entrees. Good wine and beer selections. A fun place to go with friends and get a bunch of different stuff to share. This is really the only restaurant of its kind in the area and definitely worth a visit.

The food was amazing! I had the mahi mahi and it was fabulous with the grits and peas! The white wine list wasnt great for my liking...and they could really use a second bartender during happy hour, but my experience was great and I would return if Im in the area again!

Very good and unique food for a place in the burbs. The cuisine is varied with an Asian (many times korean) fusion. Weve dined here normally and have also hosted our sons first birthday here. The event planning process leaves much to be desired but the food is great

Wife and I came in to celebrate an anniversary. We went with a few small plates. Everything was delicious and service was attentive. Only thing I could even almost complain about is that my stout beer was served too cold.
