The atmosphere in here is great and the food/drink is decent. I come here quite often because it is one of the few coffee shops in the area that has huge tables to spread out and get work done. I have two issues that make this place increasingly more and more difficult to come to. First, there is a major lack of outlets throughout the shop. If you want to get work done, you are very limited where you can sit and even though they have many tables and chairs, the majority of them do NOT have outlets nearby. Second, the wifi here is absolutely terrible. It may actually be the worst wifi I have ever experienced at a coffee shop. This is huge deal and one of the reasons I am visiting less and less. I actually get better wifi when I use my phone as a mobile hotspot (Which is TERRIBLE). I dont know exactly what type of internet package this place pays for, but it needs a major upgrade. Very disappointed the last few times I have come by. Like I said, atmosphere, food, and drinks are the pros. Lack of internet and outlets are pretty large cons.

I absolutely love bubble tea. Ive tried every bubble tea place in Chicago, and this was the last on my list to try. I was super excited to see what these guys had to offer and was shockingly surprised by how bad my drink was. I ordered a mango passion fruit bubble tea and they messed up my order and gave me a mango peach bubble tea. But, despite the mix up, I was totally fine with it... what really disappointed me the most about this place was the lack of care and pride they put in their main products- THEIR DRINKS. My already mixed up drink was served to me with NO tapioca balls, NONE, and after I brought this to their attention, they added FIVE tapioca balls to it. This is after I requested extra tapioca when I was ordering. The amount they gave me didnt even come close to a normal serving of "bubbles" that are normally in a bubble tea, I was really disappointed. They clearly dont care about their service or the quality of their drinks. My worst experience at a bubble tea place. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Normally I love this place: its a bit pricey but the atmosphere is great and the food/drinks are really good. The photo is what I had recently, the strawberry and cheese honey bread. This stuff is HUGE. Split this with someone. The problem? The service was AWFUL. There were two people behind the counter, both of whom ignored me. The employee who took my order took it with a LOT of attitude and completely messed up my name. The food and drink took about fifteen minutes to make. The friend I split the bread with said the last time she was there, it took almost twenty minutes for them to make her drinks - and there were no other customers. It was the same employee that helped her. Ive been here many a time before and loved it, especially in the winter because their hot drinks are awesome. Its just the service wasnt great this time, or the time my friend went.

The atmosphere is the best. Wifi is free, bathrooms are nice, decor is modern, outlets are somewhat abundant, and they open until late. The space is huge, so theres never really any pressure to leave, you can stay and study all day long here. Lots of negatives though. The smaller tables are uncomfortable, the space between the table legs is so small so your legs feel crammed. The tapioca is not so good here. The drinks are expensive. The desserts are expensive. The bingsoo is small, and the strawberry one we got last time was way way too sweet. I remember when this place opened, the bingsoo was phenomenal and huge. Perhaps I am just remembering incorrectly, it just seems like they made the portions smaller.

Staff is very rude and slow. We got our drinks one at a time, same thing wirh the desserts. We then realized and looked at the receipt ans one was missing, the cashier did not ring it up. I went to tell her and she started arguing with me and said i didnt order that. It was the 3rd item from a total of 8 things we ordered. She then proceeded to tell me and point to the screen in front of the register and said to pay attention and look at the order on the screen. Unacceptable for her to tell me this. One of our drinks was an espresso which was cold when we got it. We took it back and all they did was pop it in the microwave. I will never be going back or recommending this place to anyone.

This is a great place to hang out and meet up with friends. It is very spacious with plenty of seating, modern decor, large tables for big groups and it stays open late! The staff is very friendly! Unfortunately, there are other places in the area with much better coffee, bubble tea, gelato and frozen yogurt. They really need to work on the quality of their food products and focus on becoming good at at least one thing. I will continue to go and sincerely hope they improve their drinks because they have gotten so many things right!

This coffee place is my favorite place to meet up with friends and business. The coffee taste very special and could not figure out what kind of house blend, it has great smell. I understand, the service is not as fast, but it has long line, the place is busy. You just need to be cooled, if you are in the rush, go to dunkin donuts. This is a beautiful place, the Batista really work hard and passionate about their coffee, that alone I give this place 5 stars.

Management seems to not care about staff. Nice ambiance, but on our visit, we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks. There was only 1 person working the counter. No fault of his own, he was doing his best. Management to blame for leaving one guy to work the store by himself on a Saturday (a holiday Saturday). I understand unforeseen issues come up, but there should be plans in place for lack of staff. Wont come back again as a result.

I am absolutely love this place. It is very clean and the sttaff are very nice. They even brought my order to my table. The service is unmatched from any coffee places I have been, included Starbucks. I get to try the yogurt BingSu and a cup of Expresso. I got my order in just 5 min.

Over price just like Starbucks disappointed! 4.55 for a small pumpkin latte that did not taste very good. I would have brought it back if it wasnt raining. Tasted like tea not coffee. Should have had the bubble tea. Nice and spacious inside. I may come back for a bubble tea.

We came in for coffee and Bingsu but the coffee was so Watered down and had to tell them to give me extra shot. The red bean bingsu did not have a lot of beans in it. I think they are trying to save some money by using less and decent quality bean and products

Okay listen...this place has not only an open, stylish environment, but also really helpful staff and delicious menu items. 10/10 woukd recommend to anyone. My opinion might also have been swayed by Big Bang playing in the background.... thanks Caffebene
