Mothers Day NIGHTMARE! I cant believe I endured such a painful and disappointing experience. My family and I recently went here for Mothers Day two days ago. It was a very nice looking restaurant, but unfortunately that is the only positive thing I can say about this place. I called a few days in advance to make reservations for 1 PM but the representative I spoke with kept switching the availability until he finally confirmed 1 PM. That should have already been a sign of what was to come. When we arrived at the restaurant, there were about 20 people waiting in the front. The host was all over the place, setting the tables up, making drinks at the bar, going to the kitchen...pretty much everything except what he was supposed to be doing. The rest of the staff moved at sloth-like speeds, no sense of urgency at all. After waiting 45 minutes we were finally seated. There were 9 of us with only 7 glasses of water and eating utensils. Even after asking for extra glasses and utensils we still did not get any. We finally put our orders in after waiting 15 minutes for our server to come. At this point it is already 2 PM. Also, the white wine sangrias that were ordered had that smallest piece of fruits I have ever seen. How can they be so cheap with the ingredients and charge $12 for this drink? We see the family on our left packing up and leaving. They tell us, we cant do it anymore we are leaving. Good luck to you guys. I figured...were already here, might as well wait it out. It is now 2:30 PM and our server comes by and informs our table and the adjacent table that they ran out of the Corned Beef Reuben, (which was ordered by half the table) and if we would like to order another item on the menu. I told the server we are leaving, and to no surprise he walked away without a care in the world. I couldnt believe what was happening, the adjacent table said they were going to wait it out, but they too left 5 minutes later. We saw them again outside while we were walking back to our cars after finding out all other restaurants were closed. I have never walked out of a restaurant before; I couldn’t believe the level of service we receive. I was amazed at the fact that no one on their staff cared about their customers. It felt like a conspiracy, I was speechless. I know some of you reading this may think I am exaggerating a bit, but I haven’t even mentioned half of the other things I saw. You really had to be there to see the full scope of ridiculousness. I don’t usually write reviews, but this was such a horrible experience I thought I’d share it with you guys so I can spare you the pain and agony. Luckily Costco was still open so we called in a few hotdogs and pizza for pick up. Happy Mother’s Day.

The interior decoration is subdued, rather gloomy, but comfortable benches and chairs. Accent pillows, an oversized clock and humongous chandeliers strongly suggest an upscale French establishment. But then there is the disco music. Canadian Poutin - an overload on an appetizer. The fries were of mediocre quality The truffle mac&cheese were good, nice choice of cheese, but it tasted more of flour than truffle. Shrimp wrap was fresh, simply shrimp on quinoa served with a fresh salad which was outstanding. The BLT with peach compote was a wonderful explosion of different flavors. I recommend it. But the fries .... no, unacceptable, dark, limp, luke warm, way too much salt and cheese. Hijacked the taste buds. Wonderful wine list, even by the glass. It was a bit unfortunate that the last plate was cleared from our table with the words "would you like dessert or the check." The restaurant was empty, it was about 90 minutes until closing. We still had wine to drink. Not to mention, they started cleaning up for the night around us while we were still eating. Grrrr. Did not like to get rushed after a 3 course meal, which they call their specialty. Nobody replied when we left with a "Good Night." Overall: Its ok, It can get very pricey quickly. They have some lower priced items on the menu. Worth checking out. I might go back to try another combi without their Poutine and NO fries.

Went here on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch with a friend about 3 weeks after the restaurant opened. The burger and salad were mediocre at best (both were house variety). Service was slow even though the place was empty and after ordering the charcuterie board our server could not tell us what was on the board and after going to ask the kitchen was still unable to give us precise answers about most of the ingredients. The beer was lukewarm, the prices were too high, and the ambiance was nothing special. Lots of restaurants have been in and out of this location. I will be surprised if this one lasts any longer than the others. I will not be returning quickly and I suggest going somewhere else with better food, ambiance and more reasonable prices. The one redeeming factor was the dessert which was unique and very tasty. Some sort of cornmeal creme brûlée. At any rate, its not worth suffering through a mediocre meal just for dessert. Do yourself a favor and go next door to one of the many other options in Geneva.

Terrible service. 30 minutes to get a cocktail, over an hour for food and the restaurant was less than half full. The food was actually decent, however, literally everything on the dessert menu was currently unavailable. It made for an entertaining evening as our party and the tables around us were all sharing a laugh at the ridiculous situation. Also the decor is...unclear.

The menu has changed and not for the better. The grilled cheese and soup is gone as are the other fabulous sandwiches. The poutine was removed as well. The french onion soup was very disappointing. The service was equally disappointing. We will rethink any future visits. Its a shame because it was so fabulous in the beginning.

Visit last year, food and service were excellent. . Visit four months ago...food and service were acceptable. Visit last week...food and service were terrible. Apparently there is a new chef as he did come to the table to introduce himself. Nice guy, but the dining experience was an expensive disappointment. Wont be going back.

The food is very good. The night we were there the service bordered on poor. The room was not 1/4 full but after being seated we became invisible. It took quite a while to get anyones attention just to get water and drinks. Finally the manager found us and the evening ended fine, but the wait at the beginning was inexcusable.

Terrific! We actually ate at Restaurant Juliette, not Hache which is closed. Juliettes was a wonderful experience, very comfortable surroundings and the staff was very helpful. My husband and I enjoyed our meals and would certainly come back again. Very nice.

We had a lovely dinner. We were there in April and have very good food and service. Returned in late August. I was concerned give a couple of the reviews, but we had good service, very good food and everyone was truly pleasant. Will definitely return.

I have been coming here since its opening including the Paris Bistro in Naperville and both are, truly amazing with the food, wait staff and the ambiance. The chefs are very skilled and always available to create and explain the selections.
