First, I dont know what happened to Perla, but its called Curts Cafe now. Second, dont listen to Windy Rob down there; the fact that hed write what he did shows he has no understanding of Black Lives Matter (just for the record, Im a male Caucasian, too...). Also, that Rob would rather frequent a Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts shows he has no understanding of coffee either. Curts is a large independent neighborhood coffee shop with lots of atmosphere, comfy couches and chairs, independent art all over the walls, and tasty coffee drinks. The Starbucks down the street has dreams about being a coffee shop like this, then it wakes up and goes back to ignoring its customers, serving terrible coffee flavored water, and basically just being a crappy chain coffee ... dump.

I give it 2 stars for for a small business and tidy appearance. I wonder as a Caucasian male, am i welcome in to this establishment featuring fresh coffee? As the sign outside supports "Black Lives Matter". Affiliated with the group shown on the Internet? ALL LIVES MATTER. When the sign in front of the store is removed, i may consider venturing in. For now, Dunkin Doughnuts, or Starbucks 1 block away will gladly do business with me, with no negatives.

Im going down there to vote with my dollars against the ignorant views of Windy Rob.
