Holy incompetence. We came here hoping to quickly eat bagel sandwiches and go. There was one order before us. It took them twenty minutes to make two bagels (because they got my whole order completely wrong and had to remake everything TWICE) and then they couldnt even figure out how to make a coffee drink on their menu. I wanted to go behind the counter and make the bagels and drink myself. I bet I could have done it quicker and better than the worker there. Before ordering, I watched a worker struggle to put the top on a coffee cup for two minutes. If you value your time and sanity, its not worth stepping in here.

We havent visited since they moved to the old Cafe Express storefront. Previously, we would get a dozen bagels and be pleased with about ten of them. Quality control was a bit spotty. Wed usually get an unrisen bagel or two. Sometimes the coverage on an everything bagel was poor. The majority were very good, though. We also liked their sandwiches. My wife has become an excellent baker in the past few years, though, so we havent had much reason to stop by. Heres hoping the qualitys more consistent, now.

Bagel Art is a delicious Evanston gem, suitable for breakfast and lunch alike. Im quite fond of their breakfast bagel sandwiches (try their veggie spread, incredible) as well as their chocolate cookies, though I recently made a foray into their lox bagel sandwich as well. While their breakfast sandwiches provide a tasty way to start your day, the lox sandwich offers a really flavorful and savory lunch experience! Stop in for a tasty and affordable meal!

I love this place. Great food and great cafe atmosphere. The staff and management are wonderful and care about everyone coming through the door. Everything Ive ordered here is great, and the chocolate chip scones are a delicious plus to the experience. As a bonus, sometimes on the weekend they have some live musicians in the cafe that really give it that comfortable local cafe vibe.

The bagel shop has a pretty wide selection of spreads, bagel sandwiches, and other breakfast items. The food tastes pretty good and is made fairly quickly. The coffee is decent, and the shop itself is actually really well decorated. If you want to spend thirty minutes reading a paper before you get to work, this is a good place to do it. I do wish that it stayed open a bit later though.

Although the bagel I purchased was tasty, I could have done without the snarky attitude. I wanted to double check that there wasnt dairy or egg in what I was getting - an older woman, who I presumed to be the owner or manger, was extremely condescending with her answer. She does not deserve my money, I will not be back.

Great bagels great price. Only decent bagel place in Evanston, and always fresh! Staff is great and friendly and all the ingredients on the sandwhichs are really fresh. Also graet atmosphere and decor, so nice place to park out and do some work over lunch. Definetly worth a visit!

This small town homemade bagel shop is the best in town. In this bagel gem youll find fantastic homade cream cheese spreads and delectable deli style bagels. Recomendded to anybody who would like to sink their teeth into a warm delicious bagel first thing in the morning.

I went in looking forward to a nice bagel for breakfast. I stood in line and suddenly the female employee decided to take the order of the customer behind me. I thought people stand in line for a reason but I guess that doesnt matter with this place. DONT GO!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great little place with awesome breakfast sandwiches. The staff is always friendly and efficient. Prices are fair. I have gotten multiple different sandwiches and theyve all been easily customizable. Love the days that Im able to make it here before work.

Good bagels here. Friendly service. Prices are maybe a tad high but not unreasonable. If you arent afraid of carbs, then give this place a shot. I recommend the bagel and lox sandwich. Yum!
