A friend and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, the place was pretty empty, with only a few customers. I had an absolutely fantastic burger (Knead A Big Burger) which nearly rivaled Kumas in greatness. It was cooked perfectly. My super picky friend also enjoyed her burger immensely, which is a rare event. Normally I would only give 4 stars for a place that has just good burgers, but one of the kitchen staff actually came around and refilled our water glasses for us. I have never experienced that kind of service at a restaurant without waiter (and sometimes not even at places with waiters)

Terrible Management! I recently visited this restaurant and after receiving food was told that they were out of an ingredient (avocado on a BLT) and hopefully that was ok. I was never told before receiving my food nor was I offered another option or refund. To top it off I asked the manager for a discount on an additional side order of chicken chunks for my kids without getting a full meal and was told that they cant offer any discounts and I would have to buy an additional kids meal.

THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB. The burgers here are so fresh and tasty. I had the Bottomless Pit burger with fries and that was the best burger I have had in a 4-5 town radius. If you have any doubt in your mind that this hamburger may not be for you. Throw that doubt on the ground and smash its guts out. Go eat a burger here and lay yourself in a food coma of deliciousness. And when our done with that, buy an Oreo milkshake because theres always room for dessert

We had a tremendous experience today at Back Alley Burger! The food was insanely good, creative and healthy, the environment had a really great vibe, the staff was super helpful and friendly (we had a mini magic show by a staff member at our table and another staff member gave my 2 year old daughter a balloon on the way out which made her day)! We were visiting from Boston but will definitely send my Chicago family here! Thank you!

Back Ally Burger is one of the best burger places around. The fries are amazing and the burgers are delicious. My little brother always steals my fries. My favorite burger is the Back Ally Burger and its like a BLT on a bun with onion rings. My other brother is gluten free and thinks the gluten free buns there are super good. Only problem is the fries are fried with the onion rings so my brother cant have them.

First time eating there. Friendly staff, great food, and very clean including the restroom. I had the Bottomless pit. Its to die for, and sweet potato fries. The cashier was really polite and they serve your food to your table. They come and ask if you need refills on your drink. The restaurant decorating fits the name. I mainly like the restroom decor. Very unique! Just a great place. No complaints

First time trying this place and this is one of the best burgers Ive had in a while. The ingredients are fresh, the burger is well seasoned and was cooked perfectly medium the way I like. Their sweety potato string fries are delicious with just the right amount of salt. I also had a chocolate banana shake that had chunks of fresh banana, so good. Will definitely be back and recommend to others!

I adore Back Alley Burger. I order the build your own with an egg and horseradish. It is perfectly cooked every time. I also enjoy that they have so many variations available. This is not possible at a chain like McDonalds or Portillos. I feel that Back Alley Burger far exceeds Five Guys for their burgers and their fries. Amazing food, wonderful service in a clean environment.

The food was really good... Quality ingredients, fresh cut fries, TONS of options!!! However, I lersonally think its a bit too pricey for a fast food burger. The food is of better quality, but its still a fast food restaraunt. I think would be a good choice if your wanting something quick to bring home thats not typical fast food.

Best burger we have had in the area. Burgers are large without being overloaded with ridiculous toppings as is the trend at other places which can take away from the quality of the "star of the show", the meat. Onion rings were excellent. I wish we had room left over to try a shake...next time.

Just ok, not worth what you pay. Actually cleaner inside than it would appear to be. Girl that took my order acted as if i was an inconvienience to her and ordered me around which i didnt like. The burgers are not that great, had much better _smashburger is better price and better burger.

Pretty good burger. The staff is nice and everything is made to order. The interior could use a bit of updating. The table we sat at had holes in the chairs and taping covering those holes. Also the high chair was rather dirty. Other then that it would have been a 5 star.

Ive been here once and the food was good but the people who worked there seemed confused when I was looking over their menu and asked questions. Their menu is unique so its not like your run of the mill joint. 4 stars because the food is a 5 and the people were a 3.

We stumbled upon this place thought wed give it a try. Super clean, very cool industrial decor. Every kind of topping imaginable for your burger. Endless options. Friendly staff. The sweet potato fries were very good! Loved my burger! We will for sure be back.

Very good. Beef taste is great. Had the Mexicali Burger. Pleasantly spicy and holds with. The Ketchup is very sweet. Almost unpleasant on their so-so onion rings. Staff is exceptional. Some great signature burgers that Ill want to try in the future.

There is not a better burger. Ive tried all the different companies and Back Alley is the best. The only thing, I think the fries are just ok, But Im here for the burger. Furthermore, its a great value. Truly a gem

By a great margin, this joint is 1000x better than 5 guys or any other burger place. Their selection is great and the food is amazing! Does get busy at times and the seating is limited. But well worth the wait, folks.

Clean, quiet, & very tasty! Staff was incredibly friendly and made sure throughout the time dining had everything we needed. All organic grass fed beef with gluten free buns and sweet potato fries as options.

Great place, perfectly cooked burgers, and a huge menu of creative burgers. I would place it in third place of the best burger places which is still outstanding (1st: Kops in Milwaukee, 2nd: Smashburger).

Just ok. was way to expensive for what you got. I feel like the quality was just not there. my medium well didnt have a hint of pink, solid grey. so were the rest of our other mediums and med-rares.

Extremely overpriced for what you get. Burger was cooked ok but bun was cold like it was stored in fridge and tried to get warmed. Fries were cold. Cheese not even melted on burger. Would not return.

Incredible tastes and wide variety of choices on the menu. I made my own burger and it was incredible, even as veggie burgers go. Fries were delicious and hot, and service was very attentive.
