I eat out for almost every meal and travel the country. I eat at a sit down restaurants about 15 times per week and have been for years. Ive been out to eat at a restaurant thousands of times. Overall Red Robin is great, one of my favorite, but need to make two changes to earn all five stars. One, get rid of those stupid baskets. When I ordered a burger that almost cost $10.00 (and well worth every cent) it came in a basket as if I was at a ball game or something. Also, no silverware. When I order a high end burger, I want it on a real plate with silverware. I want to be able to cut it and add ketchup on the side to dip my burger. If I wanted something in a basket, I would go to a corner burger joint. This must be something new they are doing as Ive been their before and got real plates. Baskets give the impression of cheap. I want a real plate with real silverware, not a burger in a basket shoved together with fries. Also, do not seat a family with two small children in the middle where the table moves. Kids will keep moving the table (accidentally) as they are move fidgety than adults and it aggravates the parents and makes the experience not as pleasant. Overall, I thought the service was great, far better than most places, but I hate the basket and will always ask for my burger on a real plate with silverware (knife to cut burger and fork to clean it up as it partially falls apart). Not to sound snobby, but if I were laid back and did not care, I would just go to a local burger joint.

Corporate policy is to discriminate against families with children. My family and I went there to celebrate my sons birthday and since my wife does not like their booths, we asked for a table. Upon being told there would be a 10 to 15 minute wait, I said that we would sit at the community table in the bar area. I was promptly told that the bar area is only for guest 21 and over. After I pointed out that there were 4 children in the area, the manager apologized and let us sit there. Companies line is that they are trying to have an area for adults to be able to relax with out kids. My response is, you are a family restaurant, stop trying to be a bar where adults come to hang out.

This was not a good visit. I go here with some regularity and its usually much better. Service was very slow tonight. My burger came with tomatoes even though I requested it without and had no pink even I requested it have some. We could see to the kitchen and at one point there were at least a dozen meals under the heat lamps waiting to be served. It got so bad kitchen staff were wrapping burgers in foil to keep them warm. The manager was walking thru the restaurant but not talking to any patrons and he wasnt helping the wait staff get out the meals. In short he was doing nothing! If I didnt know this restaurant better I probably would never go back after tonights experience.

I love the food but the service today really sucked!. Idk what was dude problem but I never had such lousey service before. First my kid grab the machine when I wasnt looking. The waiter pasd by & says thats $1.99. Trying to get to take it off he just keep passing by. I was trying to order an adult drink after waiting for the food but the waiter seem tooo busy, he never once ask if I like a drink when Im holding the drink menu in my hand. I order food to go. The take out food got to the table before my food did. WTF. He like Ill put it under the warmer for you. Nooooo so when I get home its gonna taste nasty. Horrrible time . worst time ever

Just ate dinner there last night. All three of us got sick within 30mins of eating different things from the menu. Everything was ok. Waitress forgot to refill drinks also took forever for a side of ranch. Food was good but while being there I got sick then the other two followed suit. Theres gotta be something no up to code in the kitchen if all of us got sick. This was my second time trying this restaurant. First time was a long time ago back when they were brand new in town and I wasnt impressed with the food either but I never imagined that giving them a second chance meant getting food poisoning. Never Again!!!

My food today was cold my chicken and my cold Burger with egg on it I only ate half it was nasty very rude manager would not make nothing else thats why I stopped going to red robins years ago me and my family will never go back there who wants to eat cold food and they free fries are always hard and cold save your money everyone go somewhere were the food is hot and people are nicer especially the staff and manager but I had cool waiter named Scotty by south ridge mall in Milwaukee Wisconsin he cool I gave him a tip but the rest just nasty and cold yuck

I wish I Could have ate here. We went in and waited by the entrance for someone to seat us for over 5 min. People would just walk by and not even try to seat us. So we decided to go next door to Applebees where we were seated right away. I would understand if they were busy. But it was 3:30pm on a Tuesday. What really made me wonder what is going on there is when we went to Applebees, there was more people there telling us they had the same experience. You guys just lost some loyal customers. I hope you get it fixed, cause we used to like going there.

My dads burger was burnt and he ordered it pink. I ask for sauce on the side and they put it on the burger and on the side. They have this new thing where you can call the waiter to your table with a light, nope doesnt work and it says you can reorder your drinks with this same tabletop computer but you cant, as will only work with alcoholic ones. I had heartburn all night after eating black and blue specialty burger and Im Never going back. . We were in a hurry or we would of gotten reorders.

The food is good, the burgers are great and you have "bottomless" fries but my personal favorite the turkey burger is amazing to me. The real reason I and a lot of people come here though is for the infinite Freckled Lemonade, must have at least six glasses of it every time I go. It is fantastic! Over all the decor is nice and is what you would expect from a chain of burger restaurants and the service tends to be either be really good or decent enough to get you through your meal.

Service was great. The hosts made my kids batman balloons. The burger I had was pretty sloppy. The patty was bigger than the bun. It was ok nothing special as far as flavor goes just really sloppy. Bottomless fries and freckled lemonades were good. I really like the options that my kids had to pick from. My kids ate every bite, which was amazing so it had to be good. I would come back just because I can get a decent burger and my kids have things theyll eat there.
