Was excited to go to this location because its food from back home in Berwyn. Went in an placed my order with a friend. Well mine was good but my poor friends food WAS WRONG! Not to mention food fell on the ground due to the very soaked beef (which was spose to be a Gyro) & total price difference in food he got vs. Food he got. Was to late to turn around an go back. So tried calling to tell them of order being wrong an hoping for a future time to make correct. Well called 2x in a row ( @ 8:30 p.m.) to no avail an got a voice mail. To say my friend was disappointed to say the least. He had to run to KFC due to wrong order hiting ground outside cuz bag was so wet. This is very poor customer service if you cant even get food right or call to make correct!! Best bet is to wait till I go back to Berwyn location Cuz ALWAYS ON POINT & this would never happen there!

I walked in restaurant it was empty. After I placed my order I hear the employee in the cooking area swearing back and forth. I was speechless! I have my 5 year old with me that is unacceptable! When I told the cashier what i heard , and I no longer wanted to eat there. she gave me a refund, and stated that is our back room. I said, what does the owners think about that you swearing up a Storm "they are Greek they Dont care". She offer me my food for free I decline and ask for a refund! She did the refund and didnt give me a chance to speak because she keep trying to justify it okay for them to swear. If you are looking for the bar experience go there. But if you have a family with small kids like my self I will not recommend going there. They will add some vocabulary by the time you leave.

This Mr.Sub is nothing like the one located in Bellwood on Mannheim. That was the worst Mr.Sub sandwich Ive eaten and Ive been visiting Mr.Sub since the 90s. That sandwich was made horrible and to had insult to injury the bread was hard. I ordered two regular Mr.Subs and both were bad. I will never go to this location ever again Downers Grove need to get it together. You should serve good quality food and make your sandwiches better. I had to go in my home refrigerator cut my own lettuce just to put it on my sandwich. Thumbs down!

I love their sandwiches. Update 12/29/16: The one thing you need to teach your staff is not to reheat fries that may have been sitting in the fry bin for more than 20 minutes. My fries were hard and you can tell they were put back in the fryer. I never had this problem before and I hope to not have this problem again.

I have always loved Mr. Sub, and this one is about 5-6 years old; its still very good, cheap, and most importantly this is one of the cleanest locations I have been to. Its in a great suburb and stays open very late; which is rare for most suburban restaurants.

This place is terrific the short Mexican guy made my super Mr.sub....and Damn he made that super sub so huge I wanted to turn my van around just to by another one Mr.submarine tops all the rest of the sub places...great sub sandwiches Hands down seriously......

This was my first time eatting at this location I havent had Mr sub since 1983 on Belmont Ave and Austin this was not like I remember back then the sandwich was dry I had the roast beef sub and was truly disapointed

I love the subport in Midlo, but in Downers you really have limited options when it comes to a great sub. Mr. Submarines combo is a great deal and tasty.

Very oily sandwich. They use shredded lettuce and that isnt the best tasting. Couldnt even save the sandwich for later soaked in oil. Not coming back.
