Extremely disappointed given that I have seen people rave about this place. Not sure if it was this specific location or what. Service was no better than a fast food restaurant. The food quality was no better than a fast food restaurant. The atmosphere was no better than a fast food restaurant. The only difference really was that it was $9 for one Bacon Burger. After asking people online, it seems most people are just impressed with the customized soda machine. I honestly have been looking forward to trying their food for a long time. Kind of wish I just skipped it.

It was my first time ever eating at Five Guys, I had heard rave reviews though. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with mayo, pickle, grilled onion, grilled mushrooms, ketchup and mustard, a regular sized fry and a banana milkshake. My husband had the same thing with Cajun fries and a banana milkshake and my daughter had a mini version of our meals. We all loved it everything was cooked well and OMG the portion sizes were really large, my daughter and I took food home for later great left overs. Well definitely be back. The staff at Downers Grove were the BEST!!!!!!

So I pay $9.00 for a double cheeseburger and I order water to drink because of doctors orders to stay off sugar. This kid at the register gives me this small 2oz clear cup. I question it and he said the larger cups empty cost and if you are on water they want to be able to watch you and make sure your not stealing soft drinks. Really? I just paid $9.00 for a burger....yea Im done with this place!

Just dont see the attraction to five guys. Its a decent burger n fries, dont get me wrong. Its that I just Dont feel like its good value for dollars spent. Atmosphere is trying too hard not to try, ya know. The whole place is Just kinda . . . eh Eaten here 2 times just to make sure I wasnt having a bad day the first time. I wasnt.

Food was perfect, service was great but the price is very high. I guess you get what you pay for though. About 32$ for two burgers, two reg fries and two regular drinks. For the taste, it was worth it but didnt expect the price due to being a typical meatheads frequent customer. Maybe 4$ cheaper for a meal.

Delicious food, fast service and tons of fries! I have now made 5 guys a regular place to go when family comes to visit. Their fun drink fountain lets you pick and choose from several flavors and add them to your favorite coke products. I love the vanilla root beer. I love my burger every time!

My favorite place for a quick burger and fries. Love that if you buy the bacon burger you can get extra bacon for free! We stood there in shock for a moment, like who wouldnt want extra free bacon? Loyal customers now, our go to place.

Jaw dropped I saw the price for the cheese burger but feeling went away when I saw two patties, on top of the fact it was delicious. The inside seating is like a meat locker however. My poor kids were freezing.
