What a pit! The broken, mismatched garage sale leftovers decor isnt much to look at while you wait. And wait. And wait some more. Once youre seated in the cramped dining room, good luck getting service. We waited over 45 minutes for our food and the waitress didnt stop to check on us once. When our food did arrive, it looked like premade frozen fare from Aldi or the like. Mine was hot on the outside and FROZEN in the middle. When I got the waitresses attention to see if I could get it heated all the way, she and then the owner in turn got snotty and defensive. We ended up walking out. ***Saw their company branded truck loading up a huge order of frozen premade Mexican food at Aldi a few weeks later-- no joke. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The worst Mexican food ever. We live in Chicago where authentic Mexican food is on every corner. I ordered the bean burrito which had meat.. who does that and doesnt put that in the description in the menu? The chips were stale and the margarita was way too sweet. The tacos that my husband ordered--he said he could make better at home. Worst of all, Parmesan cheese on guacamole? Seriously--never heard of such a thing. It was horrible. We paid $40 but left our food bc it wasnt worth it. Very disappointing to say the least. The only positive was the server who was very attentive and sweet. Highly NOT recommended.

First, they put what looks and tastes like parmesan cheese on everything. (Parmesan on refried beans? Gross.) Second, my friend had a taco salad and the only dressing they had was French. (French dressing on a taco salad?) Third, we had one margarita each and we were waiting for the waitress forever so we could order another, but by time she came around she just dropped the check off without asking if we wanted anything else, so we were like, okay, I guess we arent getting another drink then... I would say this place has service, food, and decor akin to a fast food joint at best. Youre better off at Taco Bell.

We come over from Rock Falls probably 3-4 times a month. Love their food. Service is fast and friendly. Most of the time the waitress comes with our drinks before we even order and she says "your regular?" Love the food. Its always hot and very fresh.

Queso fundito appetizer was great. Four flavors of margaritas (strawberry, peach, mango and traditional lime). Food and server were good, but would have liked someone to offer if we wanted anything else before just dropping the check at the table.

This is one of my top five favorite places to eat EVER. I love the family pictures, the staff (who are ALWAYS super friendly) and the laid back environment. The foods delicious, and the drinks are well worth the price. I love it :D

The food was mediocre at best. Hardly any meat on the tacos and if you order enchiladas prepare for a block of unmelted cheese in a tasteless tortilla. We will definitely not be going back the service wasnt very good either.

Always a great place to eat. Lunches are great. There was an earlier reviewer on here who said that Parmesan cheese was on everything. The cheese is actually cotija cheese. The margaritas are excellent.

I live over an hour away from Dixon, but often make the trip for their epic salsas. The entire menu is fantastic, but the salsa is what sets it above and beyond most Mexican food.

I love their food. Much more authentic than most Mexican restaurants. Wait staff can be slow, but makes it even more like Mexico. Food comes fast once you get your order taken.
