Meal 1: Hashbrowns come with two types of peppers, onions, and tomatoes. The seasonal pumpkin bread came with what seemed like homemade cream. The omelet had to come with at least four eggs, with crab meat and shrimp, along with a variety of veggies. They had a variety of hot tea on the table and a nice pitcher of water on the table. Meal 2: The coffee person came around before my cup was empty. The monte cristo I had came with a raspberry sauce that I did not know would be with the meal. The chicken and dumplings soup of the day had perfectly seasoned broth.The homemade chips were not salted very much, which allows the customer to add as much as they like. Each dish came with a small side of cantalope. Overall, the service was great! I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

I ate at the Blueberry Hill for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I ordered the Veggie Skillet with pancakes. The skillet had an array of vegetables including onions, peppers, and mushrooms. The eggs on the skillet were excellent and had perfectly gooey yolks. However, the skillet was a bit dry for my taste. Additionally, I felt there was an abundance of potatoes in the skillet. I asked for Tabasco sauce, but the Café did not have any. The pancakes were average, but what one would expect at any breakfast restaurant. The restaurant is quite noisy, it is very difficult to have a conversation or much less hear yourself think. Overall, the Blueberry Hill is an adequate place for a quick breakfast. Nothing stood out to me, but I will not hesitate to eat there again.

Blueberry Hill is a great diner on 83. Easiest entered when going southbound, it can get seriously packed on weekends. That being said, if youve got kids in tow this is a very kid friendly spot to have them at, probably because the fact that it can be a little loud keeps them quiet ;) Still, easy to put in an order for them as you sit down so that theyll be eating right as they get hungry. The food is good, typical diner fair for choices and everything comes freshly made and delicious. Parking isnt usually an issue even when busy as it is a shared lot from a few businesses and the waitstaff is always friendly. Would highly recommend for breakfast with kids or if just in the area without.

I had stopped going here for a while because the service was horrible. I let myself go with a friend on 9/14 for breakfast and again the service was unacceptable. you judge for yourself, I asked for a cup of coffee, my food came, I finished eating, the waitress dropped off the check and then said would you like coffee. Now the entire time my cup was near the edge of the table waiting for the coffee. The waitress never checked on any of her tables, as I was watching. This is not the only waitress I have had this experience with at BLUBERRY HILL RESTAURANT in Darien on rt 83. I CANNOT ALLOW MYSELF TO GO THERE ANYMORE!

Went for breakfast service was friendly but the waitress brought us the check without asking how our food was. Perhaps she already knew not to ask as the food had no flavor. The Irish skillet was practically inedible. The potatoes were under cooked and half raw the corned beef hash tasted like it went through high speed in the food processor and made me think I was in a nursing home. Two people $30!!! For breakfast?!?! Short stack of pancakes were $7.50!!! Not worth the drive.

Traveling from NC and needed a good kid friendly breakfast away from usual. Lots of people already there but we didnt have to wait for a booth. Our server Jacqui was a pleasure and very attentive. Seafood omelet was fresh and delicious and highly recommend the cherry pancakes. The kids cleaned their plates.

A regular on our lunch rotation. Good food at good prices. Everythings always hot. Great for lunch. We can get back and forth in under an hour which is nice. Always a bunch or people in there, which I take as a good sign. We eat here at least once a week.

Horrible service. We were sat and never greeted by anyone. The hostess sat us with a ticket like we were supposed to take our own order. Several servers walked by us and never said a word. After 25 minutes of waiting we left.

Great food, coffee not too watered down. Had the biscuits and gravy, ordered it topped with over medium eggs. They came over hard but really not that big of a deal. If Im back in town again I will be back here for breakfast.

This is a regular breakfast choice for us. The portions are a good size and very family friendly. The lines can get long over the weekend so try and avoid prime time outright after church on Sunday.
