Ive been a member here for a few years now, dealing with a work & sports injuries. And overall t.rying to be healthier. First off, the LifeCafe is great. I always get a lions share of my daily eating when Im there. The food is tasty and they understand fundamental nutrition. That and the kids center is probably the two reasons why I along with my family are still members. However, the kids center is decked out. They are understaffed and I dont believe the kids get the attention parents think they are...a bit LordOfTheFly-ish. But if your kids can fend for themselves, theyll be fine. The management only cares about signing up new members and do not take care of raised issues. They will only pay attention to members if they can get you to sign up to extra crap. If you do, you no longer hold any cards. The main thing that drives me insane is the lack of a deep-end in any of their 3 pools. Kids take swim classes, which Im happy with for the most part, but they cannot learn to thread water because they keep touching the bottom. 3 pools all shallow! WTF?! 2.5 stars. If it wasnt for the lifecafe or kids area. Id be long gone.

I terminated my membership after multiple problems with the child care staff. They were too young, too inexperienced and understaffed. The last straw for me was when I found my 3 year old in the bathroom with an 11 year old unsupervised. NBC 5 here in Chicago did a Target 5 report on the situation.

I have been a member since 2007. The service quality has gone down. Towels are like sand papers. Gees how old are they? Disgusting foam in jacuzzi. How often do they dump the water? There is a difference between cost-cutting and becoming cheap.

Impossible to get on any cardio machines! They just keep signing people up! Shower smells like mold and the complaints are listened to with a smile, but nothing is ever done! Im moving on, dont waste your money on this illusion.

Decided to go elsewhere as crowding has become a huge issue there. Not a bad club but for a few more dollars a month there are better options in the area.
