I have never left a negative review in my life, but dear me! after a long day at work a few of my friends and I decided to go locally for some food and couple beers. We ended at this Mexican restaurant. I think that you can expect some sort of standard when you go out to eat. Unfortunately the standard at this restaurant was very poor. Where do I start? Having entered the restaurant, we had to wait for several minutes to be greeted and seated, when finally a waitress said hi to us. She took us to our table. The menu cards very ABSOLUTELY disgusting, covered in oil and what seem to be dried hot sauce. I specifically told the waitress Laura I wanted steak nachos. She took the order wrong and brought me a steak dinner. I told her that wasn’t what I ordered and she stated ‘’ aora te la comes’’ which translates to (now you have to eat it). I agreed to eat the steak dinner which was ok. She kept on continuously asking if we wanted another bucket of beer which she more wanted to raise the check for the higher tip and not really concerned that we weren’t even done with our first beers yet. After getting the check we split it in 3 ways. We proceeded by giving our credit cards to Laura the waitress she came back and asked who I was and that she accidentally charged the full amount on my card but she had voided it. After she explained that she had charged the entire amount on my card I said to her “you probably made my account negative now’’ to only get a “work harder’’ reply from her. I was shocked to her response. If Laura has such a bad attitude doing what she does waitressing maybe she should consider looking into other fields. At this point I’ve had enough and I can say she didn’t deserve a tip due to her poor service. After browsing through my bank statement I notice a tip was added without my knowledge or consent, after I had crossed out the added tip and signed the check. It wasn’t a significant amount, but it’s a matter of principal very unprofessional on behalf of the restaurant and staff. The waitress has committed a crime/fraud. I called the manager to dispute the charge only for him to tell me that he would look into and will call me back. After several hours of no call back I got a hold of the manager again and he stated he’d been busy and have not gotten to it yet. I simply stated that I would have my bank deal with it and ended the call. I never been to or dealt which such unprofessionalism. Management and employees are horrible.

Once again, I am disappointed. This would be the third time I ordered delivery from this restaurant, and its been not so good. When you eat-in, I find the staff friendly and the atmosphere quiet but inviting. The food is alright, but I wouldnt expect anything extremely authentic. The delivery service leaves something to be desired though. It takes usually about 15 min. to order because nobody fully understands anything youre saying. They tend to always read the order back incorrect and the price is always wrong. Then while the delivery is usually on time, the person delivering tends to either be annoyed/rude or talking on their phone/rude. Always make sure to check your receipt to make sure that the amount charged is correct. I forgot one time and was overcharged by about $21. And lastly, for the 3rd time, I opened our food for dinner and it was incorrect. Also, the portions were not what I was expecting. I ordered Guacamole and chips, and I swear they cut the size of dip by half and I had enough chips for maybe a quarter of the dip. For the price they charge, I would expect more or better. While I dont think they need to be a 5-star restaurant, I do think they need to get it together a little.

So you guys were not playing about their service! Its so terrible! And the girl didnt even have change for my amount I paid like girl you better walk your butt over to that cash register and bust it open to give me my change but she told me they didt have any. How you DO NOT have change and youre a restaurant? They wanted to probably profit off my change! After I came here on a Saturday, I returned on Monday for more tacos and this man asked me something in Spanish after I ordered from a girl that provided a way better service than the other girl but I didnt understand him so the girl translated it back to me and ask," what happen when you were here?" so I assume he mean on Saturday when they didnt have change to give me and I told him and the girl translated back to him. so I assume hes the owner? Well, hello to you mister. He didnt even bother to refund me my change or apologize! He didnt even say, "hello" to me before asking," K paso" in Spanish out of the blue. I had to think why was he asking me that until the girl translated to me. Anyways, no doubt the place has good food but the service is terrible.

Mi esposo y yo fuimos a cenar,el ordenó pollo y se lo dieron crudo,lo regresaron y lo cambio por otro platillo (tilapia a la plancha),también se la dieron cruda,pedí hablar con el managers,un grosero, prepotente y su respuesta fue que el no vio el pollo,ni la tilapia,o sea,me dijo mentirosa,le dije que hiba a llamar al departamento de salubridad y dijo que no le importaba...pésimo lugar,no recomendable...Andrea no tiene cualidades de manager.

My first experience with this restaurant will not have me going back any time soon. We were in there for lunch and had to ask for a lunch menu. We ordered off the lunch menu. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and so did my friend. Off the lunch menu. The portions were small and the food was bland. When we were finished we had to ask for our check 2 times and still did not receive the check. We had to physically get up and go stand back by the bar and even then we waited for another 5 minutes for the waitress to give us our check. When we finally received the check we presented a coupon we had for $2 off LUNCH between 12-3. We were there 12-1. we were told we could not use the coupon because we ordered dinner. We did not, we both ordered off the lunch menu. Bland food and bad service has me sticking with what is good....PABLOS!

Went here for a 6pm dinner and was horribly disappointed. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The food sincerely seems like it had been frozen and reheated. The sope was hard as a rock and had nearly no topping. The tamale I was served was nothing short of embarrassing. I ordered chicken, and was brougt a pale, doughy tamale that was literally in shreds. There was no chicken (really no filling at all) and when I asked about it, I was told that they were out of chicken and had given me the vegetarian tamale instead. I guess they were hoping I wouldnt notice? Rice was hard around the edges like it had been under a heat lamp or microwaved. Gross gross gross.

This is a standard Mexican place along the route 14 strip mall complex. While this is undoubtedly a community driven place the food selection is wide, but leaves much to be desired in taste and flavor. The service is hit and miss. Our server seemed more interested in congregating at the back of the restaurant chatting with the rest of the other servers rolling silverware than waiting on our table. Other servers seemed to pick up her slack and saved this from being a one star review. The place has potential but needs to get back to the basics. If you do stop by, be sure to grab the Fried Ice cream... its the best Ive had in the area.
