First, this is a buffet, look up the meaning for all you jerks out there that are blasting this place. It offers a variety of food and I eat here often as it is much better than that Chinese place across from Sams Club - for they have jalapenos in almost everything - and I mean almost EVERYTHING. For all you haters out there that are upset with the name change - get over it and get cultured and educated - for "a rose by any other name will smell just as sweet", - you actually need to get over yourself, the owner is trying to make a living and you have one bad experience - which you may have created yourself - and you want the entire place to shut down?! Spoiled little brats. This place is great at the present time. And for that inconsiderate mom with the screaming child - most people would remove the child from the room for a spell, if your kid keeps screaming get a babysitter - and try to enjoy a night out - LIKE EVERYONE ELSE AROUND. YOU. AND, stop posting bad reviews and then plugging your uncles place. I will continue to come here, as long as its great, and its great. And, last - but best - Sunset Squid - you are racist piece of #$%^. Oh, hay - Starwarsempirejedi - dude, first how would you know what a sick dog feels like, and if you had food posioning - GO TO THE ER DUMMY. I had food posioning and spent 3 weeks in a South Korean Military ICU - its not funny - you had no food posioning - you had FOS (Full of Shi^).

I initially ate here when I was new to the area from a suburb of Chicago. I passed four or five other Chinese restaurants on the way there for the idea of a buffet. I enjoyed it. However upon going a couple more times, the food had a noticeable decline in quality. I shook it off and made excuses for them such as "its too late in the day" or "they probably didnt realize the noodles were burnt from the hot plate." I gave them the benefit of the doubt and strolled in there yesterday. Half of the food was ice cold, and the noodles appeared to be left over from the night before. I got hit with a 28 dollar bill and the staff was reluctant to help me feel better about the experience. They took a whopping two dollars off the bill and I went on my way, very unsatisfied. Now my stomach is torn up and I feel awful. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra mile to Kumi Sushi down the road on 31.

My wife and I come in quite often, and she enjoys talking with everybody, as she is Chinese. The food is great, especially for the price. The wait staff is excellent, and I enjoy talking with them and the management; theyre always friendly! The -single- gripe I have with this place is that, for whatever reason, the floors can get extremely slippery--I tend not to invite elderly people when I go anymore, and the wife wears very grippy shoes when we go (she is pregnant). Would absolutely recommend--our favorite place to go in Crystal Lake!

I must say I did not want to go to any buffet, but I was convinced that I would really like this place. Even though I hate BUFFET... With a complete passion... So we went and I must say that I was completed impressed with this place and the food selections are endless. They also have a Hibachi Bar that prepares what ever you bring him from their vast selection of meats and vegetables and no matter how much you want to pile on too... I recommend this place to anyone in the area or if youre just looking to get out of their town for a day....

The food here is disgusting. The fish on the sushi looked dried out and browning. The rice was too salty and overcooked. The desserts were stale. However, Im awarding 2 extra points to the management for dealing with the rude woman and her crying child. Nobody wants to go out to eat and listen to your lack of parenting. The owner was right to call you out on it. If youre going to be that selfish, then stay home and be as loud as you want. Please do something about the freshness of the food, and Ill come back.

WORST place to eat. Went here with my friends and our kids the other day , and long story short, a waitress came to our table and told us to tell the baby to "keep it down". Im still shocked by what was said. So RUDE and disrespectful. Called and asked for a refund and manager said that he didnt care and our money wasnt going to be returned. DONT eat here, its apparently not children friendly. Cant believe how people can be so heartless and cold towards kids. If i could give no stars i would.

Ive been here for lunch and dinner. Its easily one of my favorite buffets in the area. The food is always hot, and delicious. The stations and tables are kept very clean and sanitary. The sushi is awesome, the soups are tasty, and the other meals are very good. The servers and host are very friendly and attentive. Its very reasonably priced, which allows me to eat here at least once a week. The decor and relaxed atmosphere are an added bonus. Check it out if youre in the area.

If you open a can of La Choy chop suey from a supermarket, then you would be feasting on superior Chinese cuisine. Egg foo young was room temperature. Kids say the sushi is ok. Lots of chicken dishes, they seem to use every part of the chicken not just breast meat. Soggy batter on the sweet n sour chicken. My family of four escaped for under $50, which if you enjoy it, is a steal. Maybe it was an off night. Might give them a try when the name changes again.

This buffet seems to have changed hands a few times since it opened, but the current owners are running it right. The sushi is consistently fresh, plentiful, and delicious. The steam tables are clean and always well-stocked. I have not tried the Hibachi, but my husband enjoys it. They also offer a punch card for both lunch and dinner visits to earn one free. Although some of the booths could use reupholstering, I highly recommend a visit.

I love this place! Really great selection. They have a hibachi station where you pick your ingredients and someone will cook it all up together with your choice of sauce (tip him). Also, there is sushi bar which they had over 10 kinds of sushi selection, it was great! Dont expect top notch cuisine, Chinese food is pretty tasty and fresh too, but for an all-you-can-eat place, its pretty good. Overall I give 5 stars for them. Will be back!

I liked not a damn thing about this place. The food was cold by the time it got to my table which means that it was not held above 140° which is a health department requirement. All the "sushi" was imitation crab meet, there were unopened clams in the Bain Marie, the "filet mignon" was way too tough to be filet, the tea was bland, even the bananas were covered in a sauce that tasted like kids bubble gum medicine.
