This is by far the greatest chinese restaurant that I have ever been to including several well known chinese resturant in China town 5 star chinese resturant in the Peninsula hotel. The food here would not be considered fancy, but has good fundamentals like comforting home food. (that is... if your mom was a good cook!) I would suggest lunch special deals here. Even though they stopped giving out free sodas-- at 6 dollars, they are the best lunch deals in Chicago. My favorite dish is sesame chicken. it packs the quite sizable platic package(not the itty bitty typical chinese food bag) with tender and crisp fried chicken! They are like chicken tenders covered with sweet and sour sauce only better. My second favorite would be broccoli shrimp. The shrimps are big and juicy have the good firmness of well cooked shrimps. My only complain would be that this restaurant is suitable for carry out not dinning out. The resturant itself is quite small and homely, not the restaurant that your date would have in mind for a romantic night out, although the food here is better than all the other so called "fancy spots."

This is my GO TO Chinese Venue its : 1》 Convienently close , within walking distance 2》 They Deliver In Record Time (Seemingly Breaking Their Personal Best Everytime I Order) 3》 Hey , no - no - no - no - no ! I did not forget the Food , Delishously Awesome . . . 4》 The Customer Service is only slightly tempered due to some Cultural Inconsistencies 5》 I recommend this Chinese Food Venue 5-Stars

Ive lived near this restaurant for quite some time and have spent more money here than Id like to admit. The only dish I didnt care for was the fish. Everything else was excellent, particularly the General Tsos Chicken and the Hi Moon Fun. The staff is friendly although if youd like to eat at the restaurant itself, the only thing they offer is plastic, McDonalds-style seats and chairs.

This a take out Chinese place. One could eat there but its kind of small. The food its good and inexpensive. I have been going there since 2000 its a good place to eat. You could also order ahead to just pick it up. The only thing is the parking lot its alway full besides at night, although the food is good I dont feel safe going to get something to eat there at night, all else is good.

I got food poisoning from this restaurant.One time I bought lunch from them and I got sick. I remember that egg roll had a very weird taste. After I ate it , I got sick and my stomach was upset for long time. this is a very bad place. NOT recommended.

Only if zero stars was possible the food is horrible plus everything thats cheap isnt good . No taste at all then Everytime I come they speak there language then just look at me until I leave . But I guess I can thank them for helping control the population of rats in the area .

Still waiting for an order I placed at 5:35pm and Ive called the place the woman answeeed saying they had left 10 minutes ago with my order and that was at 7:01pm when I made the phone call. Its currently 7:30pm. Mind you the restaurant is only 15 minutes away or less.

Im pretty picky about Chinese food. I lived in NY my whole life before Chicago, and I like my Chinese food to taste a certain way, and this place is without a doubt the closest "New York" Chinese food I have found in Chicago. And I have tried a lot!

The wonton soup has lots of vegetables and they arent stingy with the wontons. The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice are a decent size and there are plenty of them in the rice. The food is always freshly made so you will wait a bit for the food.

Great restaurant for Chinese Take-Out. Fast service. My favorites are the Shrimp Fried Rice, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, General Tso Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken and Vegetable Egg Rolls.
