A perfect little cafe tucked underneath the Red Line stop at Berwyn. Homemade food options for breakfast and lunch blow the area competition out of the water. Breakfast sandwiches & burritos, soup of the day and sandwich specials are so good. (Try the "Miss Ollie" ham and gruyere with pickled onions) Plus each person can pull a perfect cappuccino. Never once has my Coffee been burnt. The folks behind the counter are great. If they had a beer and wine list I would never leave. So lucky to have it so close!

The coffee was great, and good prices along with a fair refill policy, no complaints there. The reason for three stars is the software controlled 2 hour time limit on wifi usage (Im a freelancer, Ill keep buying if I can keep going), and their chairs are the least comfortable ever, all of them actually. Also their hours are dismal (they close at 5pm). This place is great for coffee but terrible for regulars, and I unfortunately will not be a regular.

I love this place! Its a small, cozy cafe with great atmosphere, delicious drinks, awesome sandwiches, very friendly staff who make you feel welcomed to be there, and good music (today was good range from 60s psychedelic to yé-yé to 90s indie rock to Indian classical). If I lived anywhere near here, Id hang-out, eat, read, relax, think, and work here all the time.

I searched for a coffee joint for a year after moving up here. THIS IS THE PLACE. the food is real good, made from scratch, and for a good price. Coffee is good, independently owned, totally cozy, nice staff etc etc. Im REAL PICKY and I love it here. Wifi, outdoor seating in summer, good music, and off the beaten path yet right nxt to train. Ahh :)

This is a really cool little coffee shop with great food. Excellent breakfast sandwiches (try the nutella, peanut butter, and banana), breakfast burritos (the best is the Trooper, with a waffle in it and maple syrup to dip), baked goods, etc. The coffee is great too!

I want to love this cafe so bad, its steps away from my place and so cute. First several visits were great. Then brought my mom in to see this cool place near where I lived, and the barista was just so cold to us. Hopefully she just had a bad day.

Fantastic local coffee joint, with excellent sandwiches and lunch stuff too! The staff is all really friendly, making this neighborhood spot a cozy place to study and meet with friends. They also have a nice outdoor patio which is beautiful!

Third wave coffee (ie not Italian but super-bitter essentially undrinkable) and even higher prices than similar places. Hipster staff in a non-hipster neighborhood. Nice atmosphere overall and no background music. Could be great.

Fun, quirky little place with amazing sandwiches on huge slices of whole grain/seed bread. I enjoyed the artsy atmosphere, though the choice of music was pretty overtly sex-themed. Made for an interesting first date!
