I hate buffets, but my wife talked me into going here. I must admit the food looked pretty good. But firstly, we found some seats, my wife left her jacket on them so we could keep them. and went off to get some food. the food look good, but the customers we quite unconcerned about politeness, neatness and general over all food safety. I finally found something that did not look like it has been played with and we went back to our table to eat. We get back and my wifes jacket is missing. We get up and start looking around, and the hostess has it. She say someone decided that it was left, and she was holding it for the customer to come back. Well my wife started describing what was in the pockets to prove it was hers. The hostess refused to give it back. After talking about it way too much, my wife just snatched it from her hands and said it was mine, call the police if you want. Back to the food; basically it was not bad for buffet fair. I am not going again, but if you dont mind eating buffet, then this is not a bad place to go.

China Buffet is awesome. The food is top notch, everything from the sugared ‘donuts’ to the Jello. Everything is brought out from the back in the kitchen. The service is good, you pay for everything and you eat whatever you want. They pick up after you and say thank you. To you. I dont know the price but I believe everyone pays a reasonable price for all the food they will consume. The bathroom is clean, most of the time, and the restaurant is clean as well. Overall my experience there is fantastic. They have fried chicken and the fried chicken is really good and juicy. The sugared ‘donuts’ is very sweet and delicious. They have rice and chocolate cake. The chocolate cake isnt dry, which is good. The chocolate on the cake is sweet too. The drinks there are icy and cold. Which is just perfect.

3 Stars for food, but 4 Stars for the deal, which is like $7 and change for all you can eat dinner and even less for lunch. The food is okay.... you wont mistake it for Chinatown but its far from the worst Chinese food Ive ever had. They do beef and broccoli pretty well, so thats what I usually load up on there. The lo mein is kind of greasy and the fried rice is yellow for some reason. Soups are good, and they have a bunch of casual American items on the buffet as well (the fried chicken wings taste like they have a hint of hot mustard in the batter maybe?). Its small so dont expect much in terms of variety, but its not bad and is very inexpensive.

Food is delicious and counter is clean they keep the food well stocked. The fruit is so so. They have fries, onion rings, and american style food for kids who may not want to eat Chinese food. Its tightly packed however so if your claustrophobic in any way shape or form this is not the place for you. The prices are a great value under 9$ a person for a buffet. The bathroom is kind of dirty but that is really the only complaint the majority of the restaurant is clean and I enjoy eating there and if your on a budget and want some good tasting Chinese food this place is worth a stop.

Went here for lunch today and the food was terrible. They had very minimal options to choose from and all of the food was cold! On top of that i seen one of the workers behind the counter where you pay eating a french fry and then without washing her hands or anything put the lid on a mans food. I think this is disgusting, at least wash your hands or put gloves on. Cleanliness in a restaurant is huge with me. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!

I was soooo looking forward to Chinese for lunch and this place seemed like it had pretty good reviews and the price was great however you defiantly get what you pay for, sadly the food was not all warm or some of it was say better and the costumer service was not all that either. I can honestly say I wont be back :( "all i wanted was good Chinese food for lunch"......Well off to the next place.

Took the lady at the counter about a minute to get off her phone and take my money as I stood there. Food is ok for the price. Bathrooms are filthy, place is kind of a dump, all in all it was mediocre, not terrible but not that good. On a funny note I saw a dude put about a dozen of those little coconut cake things on a plate and drench them with ranch dressing. My god. Gross lol

This place was awful small with no variety of food. They have a sign that states to only get what you are going to eat which I found very unnecessary. There was a couple sitting on a big table that were asked to move after they started eating because of a larger family needing a table. Found that very disrespectful. This place is dirty. Will definitely not come back.

I took my brother there and he told me that we had to go back again because the food is really good like the egg drop soup, the duck on a stick, and the crab rangoon. The young lady who works very hard there is soooo friendly and she is such a people person! Her teenage daughter is very kind and friendly too. As well as the food, they both deserve 4 stars too.

I didnt like how they gave us attention.Today we going to go again.Hopefully they give us Good/Exellent attention.Got me/mahh family twist up.Lol my uncle said that is a BAD BUFFET.!!! I love this place! Its kind of a hole in the wall, but the food is pretty good, the selection is much more than youd expect from looking at the outside, and for $9.21 its all you can eat and unlimited soda. Its good enough that I dont have to be broke or desperate to eat there (and I hope that doesnt sound like a back-handed compliment).

The best buffet in the Chicago area. Cozy place with fresh food, fruits and dessert brought out every 10-15 min. Could use renovations, looks outdated, washrooms need work but are fully functional. (-1 star). Overall I was very satisfied with my meal. Stopped by around 3pm.

For a tiny hole in the wall in the middle of a plaza, this buffet has a good selection for a reasonable price. If you come during lunch you may have to wait for a seat, between the locals and anyone working in the area whos in the know, this place will be packed.

Ive come here before but you get what you pay for Okay food. Not the best but if your hungry you can fill yourself up with dry over cooked meal. On this visit, I found a piece of hard plastic in my egg roll. Although I got my money back. Im not coming back.

Because its a cheap buffet to eat you should expect the food not to be quality. That being said if your looking to eat to get very very full for less than $10 then this may be for you, if not then there are other spot that would be better.
