Where do I even start... This is owned and operated by a husband and wife team. The husband ran the bar while the wife was the only server. It started with entering the restaurant which proved to be difficult since there is no sign and the door that appears to be their main door is actually the fire exit. Though there were few people in the restaurant the server appeared as if they were packed with a wait. She was gone for such long periods of time. Once the food was served, I immediately noticed long hairs in my salad. Multiple long hairs... see photos! As if that werent bad enough, we noticed a child IN THE KITCHEN. The child was running around which wasnt too much of an issue (other than for his own safety) until he began to climb on the rack where food is placed. If that wasnt enough to gross you out, then listen up -over and over he LICKED THE RACK! just after he climbed and licked where a salad was, the server then went in to the kitchen and served the same salad to a customer. By this time we were so disgusted we talked to the server who seemed not too bothered by it. Then after she went away, the husband(owner) came to talk to us and instead of handling the issue he blatantly said he didnt believe us (until we showed him the pictures, it also helped that the kid was still climbing the rack so we told the owner to turn around and look!!!) He still didnt go into the kitchen to reprimand the child or parent of child. Instead, he told us there was an issue getting a baby sitter and that this does not typically happen. As if that made it ok to have a toddler in a restaurant kitchen. Anyway, it ended with me telling him we were no longer paying for the meal and I will be sure to leave comments every where I can. TO BE FAIR - I was not going to refuse to pay until he refused to remove the child from the kitchen and the rack. Had he not given so many excuses, I could have been much more understanding of someone not being able to find a babysitter.

I initially went here because it was close to my apt but I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The food was REALLY good for pub food...esp when the gigantic nachos are on special for $5. Atmosphere is chill. Space is limited so its a hit or miss on busy nights...During the day sometimes when its slow service is slower, but theyre always friendly.

This place, nicer on the inside then what you see from the outside, carries a typical barfood menu. I tried their French Dip. The meat was good but the sandwich and the au jus came out a little cold. Good for families and young couples / singles. They do have $5 martinis every Friday and a decent beer selection.

I have been looking for a place like this since i moved to the city! Great upscale bar food with a large variety and not to mention cheap!! The atmosphere is so fricken cute too. If they had a pool table it would be even more perfect! The fact that its .2 miles away means ill be there quite often

Very good food, great service and fun setting - darts, shuffle board and board games to keep you occupied while you have a beer. Really good location too considering theres not much else inside of a few blocks of here.

I always visit Bridget Mcneils whenever I am in Chicago. The service is quick and friendly and the food has always been to my liking. I remember their fried pickles being fantastic.

Ive never had a bad time at the pub. Waitstaff and bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable of the menu items. Food is always great as well.

It has shuffleboard, so thats good. Its in a weird spot though. Service is good and beer is cheap but its just got a weird vibe.
