Had a birthday party here this past weekend and it ended on a horrible note. To make a long story short, I went outside to speak to some of my guests and they refused to let me back in. The security guard claimed that I was intoxicated. What he used to make this judgement, I will never know. I was outside laughing and talking with friends. Had I been drinking? Yes. Its a bar, so that seems logical. Was I publicly intoxicated? No. He told people everything from I was fighting, stumbling and talking loud. The story kept changing and none of it was true. If he was telling the truth there would have been one consistent narrative about what happened. When my friends reviewed the place on Facebook and other social media sites, the establishments response was that they were sorry that we were unaware of public intoxication laws. Nope. I have a Ph.D. and I am very aware of those laws, not that one would need a degree to know this, but the response was dismissive and condescending as if we were an uneducated group of patrons undeserving of an explanation or efforts to rectify the situation. Furthermore, that statement implies that I was drunk which is a a libelous claim, as they had no proof. One would think that a business would be careful and not make erroneous assumptions about individuals and proceed to post them on a public forum. What they choose to enforce is very arbitrary. The club is supposed to be 25 and up and I called to inquire whether my patrons who were under 25 could gain entry for my party and I was told no. Well they tried their luck and came anyway and the thirsty security guard let them in. I know for a fact that at least 3 people were in there underage and they are willing to come forward when I report it to the Oak Forest Police. And, I also know or a fact that security was aware of at least one patron there with a pistol. I think Ill report that too. What they enforce is laughable. Its also interesting that even the manager came outside and admitted that he wasnt sure why that decision was made. And, furthermore he came outside because he was trying to figure out why EVERYONE was leaving because almost all the patrons there were with my party. As such, even if the security guard wanted to act on his incorrect assumption, one would think that management would make their own assessment of the situation and perhaps allow me, host of the party, back in and just not serve me more alcohol. Or, perhaps designate someone with my party to be responsible for me. I did not need any of these things, but the point is that there were multiple ways to handle the situation as opposed to kicking out the party host who had spent a great deal of money in their establishment. Finally, the service was horrible. No one was intoxicated because it was impossible to get served. Even the bottles that we purchased in order to reserve the space for the party were almost impossible to get. Best wishes to the Linger Martini, we will take our business elsewhere, place like this come a dime a dozen, no big deal. I find it particularly interesting that when we reserved the party, the bartender allowed us to have both vip sections which I guess goes against the managers wishes, but she did so because she said, "Im just happy to finally get a booking". Guess we know why now.

Pros: very own private area for VIP, DJ was great with the selections of music (constant rotation) Security circled the establishment every 5 - 10 intervals Cons: no service for the VIP party It takes 30 minutes to an hour to purchase a drink, The DJ talks through all the songs, The bartenders On Friday 7/10/2015 was my first time visiting that location and I dont like the service we had received. The batenders were over staffed and only attended to the customers who were their friends. I dont go out much but attending this location the first was a 5/10 rating. The DJ will only be the reason to come back and visit again.

My husband and I decided to go to Linger Martini Bar. The owner places open candles on the tables adjacent to the seat. The candles do not have covering to prevent burns from the flame or the candle wax. Well, unfortunately, my husbands jacket was burned and destroyed by the candle adjacent to his chair. When we asked the manager and owner regarding compensation, the owner replied that he was not responsible, although he was aware that the candle was open and a fire hazard. With this response we left the bar and will never attend again. This owner did not offer a discount of purchases or compensation for our property.

I like the place, it is a little small but very friendly & well-trained staff and a classy environment. A perfect place to take a friend for a drink and some conversation. I dont normally do reviews but once I saw how some ppl were leaving negative responses I decided to share my experiences as well. If your are more mature, its better to be part the earlier crowd. Enjoy!

I went here to help my cousin celebrate her birthday, it was not what I expected it to be lol. It has a very small intimate feel to it and the drinks were okay. I did not like how it took 15 minutes for the bartender to take our order and another 15 minutes for us to receive our drinks. I was not too thrilled with my drink after a 30 minute wait.

Date night with the husband last night and we had the best time ever.. The tequila Orgasm drink is the absolute best. Intimate setting, adult crowd, music was on point. Security was on it, the haters were to. We danced, drank, and had a really nice time.. perfect. The night ended very well for us. Thank you

This Bar is AMASING! I really love their Henriettas Lemon Drop Martini! The stuff is very friendly and service is really good. I like their Interior and music. The Linger Martini Bar is very cozy place. Also, I would recommend this place for party rentals. Try The LINGER!

Love linger. Been going for years. Small lounge. Mature crowd. Drinks are reasonable. No cover any night. Its in a strip mall so theres plenty of parking. They play hiphop, house music, and have a live bad . Checkout the webosite to see what happens on each day

This is a terrible place. Very small and drinks are sort of pricey for the environment. In addition the security started harassing me as soon as I walked into the establishment. Also accused me of committing a crime. Then proceeded with an illegal search.
