Two stars because the staff and what seemed to be the owners were very friendly. The bar was busy and looked lively so Im guessing its a good place to drink or they have good drink specials. However my wife and I just went for a meal and it was pretty sad. Being a Tiki bar I expected them to have ANY kind of specialty food and they really didnt. Wife tried the fish n chips hoping the theme would equate to a good fish and chip but it didnt. The fish was standard frozen with a kind of bad oil aftertaste, a little over-fried, not very good. Fries were blah as well. I had a chowder soup that was straight out of the can taste. It was also in a little plastic dish and obviously microwaved as the inside was insanely scolding hot and the outer areas were cold. They probably didnt even stir and remicrowave it. It was terrible. I cant remember what my main was which says something in itself but I recall not liking it either. Might have been a burger. But basically we ended up not liking anything there except the free popcorn they give you as an appetizer but never refill.

The other ratings Im reading cant possibly be for the same place! My entire family goes to Flip Flops every Friday. The food is great - try the fish fry and the Philly Chicken sandwich - and the service is friendly and attentive. This is a local family-owed business and its a great place to hang out and enjoy a relaxing evening or watch a sporting event!

The mai tai I had was good but the burger was OK. The beef was alittle dry. However, the fish fry my dinner mate had was delicious. If your looking for a good Friday fish fry, go here! The wait staff was friendly and more than willing to make recommendations on their very large tropical drink menu.

Probably one of the worst restaurant Ive been to maybe it was just the day bad cook bad service maybe its a full moon dont know no one seemed to be able to correct our orders not like they were hard cheese burgers cooked a certain way what certain toppings will not go back

Great place for lunch, been working in Bloomingdale for the past 10 years, and i just recently found this place. Without a doubt this has been one of the best places around here for lunch. Lunch specials are tasty and a great value, will be back more often!

Its a nice atmosphere and decent place with good staff but its always crowded with people having to push their way through the crowd to get around the place. The prices were high but they did have some decent daily deals on the menu.

Ive been here a few times with coworkers and the atmosphere is cool, the drinks are good and the food was too. I just tried contacting them at 12 to place an order for lunch and nobody picked up the phone. Oh well...

Wouldnt go there again. Had Coors Light on special ($4) and all the other drinks were expensive. Also we put $7 into the juke box and only one of our songs were played!! The rest were skipped by the waitresses!!!
