Service sucks. Way over priced. They clearly didnt scope out the market before opening this place. Was WAY WAY WAY better when it was the Pub or even the Lodge. Yea there was more troublesome clientele but that didnt matter most of the time because drinks were reasonable and the food was surprisingly good. Only the late night crowd was an issue. Now the food is weird(odd combinations and concepts), drinks are ridiculously priced, comparable to city prices, and they dont do much to court their bread and butter... the residents of Four Lakes. They have a few thousand people living there yet do nothing to bring those people in. Great concept (sarcasm)! Judging by the empty bar for the Cubs in the world series, you can see that their concept is working out great for them! Oh and they recently fired pretty much every good looking girl they had working there and its run by pretty much all guys. Management clearly doesnt know how bars work... I mean seriously. Try to order a regular burger in this place... Careful, you may get treated like an inconvenience if you dont want a fried green tomato on your burger. This place is trying to be the Starbucks of the bar industry but clearly havent thought that one through...

This place is absolutely terrible. If you enjoy rude, inattentive bartenders, expensive drinks, loud, terrible music and cover charges, this is your spot. Or if you are looking to buy some roofies, this would also be the spot, considering some of the perverted patrons that frequent here. Unfortunately, having a couple good friends living in adjacent apartments in 4 lakes, I have visited this hellhole multiple times. But after last night Im finally putting my foot down and never going back. Basecamp pub hosted "DMX Live," although DMX, the hip hop artist, was not there. It was pretty evident that this was just a scam to get people into the building. The first sign of the hoax was upon entering the doors, as the bouncers werent even scanning the bar code on the printed out tickets (I guess they didnt care if you had made 10 copies out of your 1 ticket). They conveniently announced the main act was a no show around 1 am, and advertised the performance was starting at 8pm. Do yourself a favor and stay clear from here. The ski hill isnt managed any better either.

I was there on a date and we got there about 8:00 pm... He paid $16.00 for us to walk in the door because of the band playing that night. We bought 3 drinks each ourselves after sitting outside for 20 minutes and not being noticed by any wait staff. So we sat inside so we could get some dinner. We ordered the "CLUCKER" because its my favorite. We left by 10:00 pm and No Band Played, they did a Sound Check, sang one song and that was it. Upon leaving THE LODGE, I asked the guy at the door taking money for no band thus far, "Hey can we get our Money back since we didnt see or hear a band, and only came for dinner"? he shook his head no and said sorry next time come eariler...NOW IF THATS WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT THATS TOO BAD BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE EAIRLIER BUT MY CARE BROKE DOWN. I cant believe you guys needed $16.00 that desperatly....I will not be back, and I will tell everyone from Berwyn to Naperville and everywhere in between, including FACEBOOK not to go to THE LODGE anymore.

If youre a girl & not a regular youll be ignored & get no service. Was with a group of guys & they had to order for me every time because Id stand there for 15 minutes & get nothing (not the first time Ive been here/this has happened either). We even ordered food & they forgot mine. All the guys got their food & finished eating by the time I got mine. Also dont trust the bathrooms ladies! Squat or put toilet paper down. This place was once known as the Midwest STD capital! Theyve redone/renamed the place but its exactly the same, they didnt change anything or redo the bathrooms. Theres usually mass amounts of urine on the floor & half the toilets dont work.

I went here a couple months ago for some cheap food and drinks with a friend. It is kind of a dive bar thats tucked into a wooded area which was odd, but unique. I ordered a fishbowl. It was okay but not much alcohol in it at all! The food was really cheap and not bad for bar food. The service was okay, the bartenders were friendly enough. A varied mix of people. Old and young. Predominately Caucasian with some black people. Not many Latinos.

went on a thursday night, food was good. my first drink was okay, ordered the same drink again and it tasted MUCH better, almost like a completely different drink, ordered it again and it tasted blah. Drinks should be more consistent. Also, there was only one server so everything took FOREVER. I waited almost 30 minutes for one drink. Made me really nervous when it came time to pay and the server was gone with my card for another 30 minutes.

just recently checked out the new restaurant and was very pleased to see all the ways it has changed since being the lodge. the appearance is much nicer, the menu has been drastically improved, the service is awesome, and its much more family-friendly than it used to be. definitely only good changes were made when switching from the lodge to basecamp!

Came here because its an "Official Blackhawks Bar" and its the playoffs, so you think I could watch and "hear" the game...but instead theres an orchestra playing, what bar has an orchestra except maybe a country club?..Food, ok. Drinks not terrible, but could be better, definitely overpriced. Probably wont be back anytime soon.

If you like paying $15 (yes that is correct) for a pitcher of Miller Lite or Bud Light and the bathrooms need alot of work and cleaning. If the owner is trying to be a great bar , he needs to fix it up. The patio doors need to be fixed , the floor needs to get leveled. Lots of work is needed at basecamp.

Base Camp is a great place to go to spend time with friends and enjoy the daily specials and entertainment. If you are in Lisle or on the way by, stop and have a beer. The menu is amazing and I have never had a meal I didnt enjoy. The bands on Saturday nights are fun to watch and the cover charge is low.

Good watering hole locally. The service is spotty. The food order incorrect at times. Liquor selection for small batch scotch and bourbon could use some help. Not everyone likes jack, bullet, and makers mark. The burgers when not so greasy are 5 stars. Good appetizers too. The other items not so much.

The Lodge is a great place if youre looking to have some beers, listen to a band, and do some Jager-bombs like you were back in college! If youre not looking for a fun weekend night out, youre better off elsewhere.

A good place to go for a beer and a quick bite to eat. They also have lots food and drink specials everyday, plus happy hour 4-6pm Monday through Friday. A good lineup of live entertainment on the weekends.

Going to BaseCamp Pub and Eatery in Lisle, IL 60532 is a blast! It was formerly known as the Lodge. Great live music and selection of drinks available with a very attentive staff in my experience.
