Flingers Pizza pub is over priced and average a best. I tried out there Super Freak pizza, and while the banana peppers gave the pizza an interesting flavor, the meat was lacking on the pie. When I asked the manager about why the meat was so spares, he said that the menu toppings are portion controlled, and that I would have to order off the menu "make your own" just to get more meat. So instead of 13.95 for a medium supreme pizza with banana peppers, he feels customers should pay 9.49 + 11.92 = 21.41 (1.49 a topping * 8 = 11.92) That is a rip off in every sense of the word, even the best pizza place in central Illinois "Agatuccis" large special is only 16.50, you can add "Shrimp" on there for 4.25 and almost be paying the same price. Even normal chains like Avantis, charge a lot less for pizzas that actually have toppings on it.) The manager comped the pie because I was dissatisfied, I do appreciate that, but fair warning to anyone else out there expecting top of the line pizza. If your a meat lover like myself, this is not the place for you.

The best pizza away from home. If youre looking for pizza and youre in the area, this is the place to go. The ambiance is a family-friendly pizza pub and is completely nut free. Their hand-tossed thin crust is so fluffy and cloud like that it really makes you want to eat the entire thing. Their beer selection has everything from domestic to local craft. The place isnt all that big so I would suggest putting in a reservation before going at peak hours. Great for large groups. Staff is very friendly and accommodating for anything you need.

Flingers is an old friend that went away but now is back and better than ever. Its been great to see them grow and get the benefits of that growth. Started as a late night after bar place. Pizza got better and they added a large great craft beer selection. Just when they started to hit their stride they had to leave. We got a chance to appreciate them while they were gone and now get to enjoy all that in a bigger space. Oh how Ive missed their Flinger rolls. The Chicago fire pizza is a favorite.

Literally the best pizza in Bloomington-Normal. Try the thin, try the thick, try the pizza-dilla IT IS SO GOOD! I am originally from Northern Illinois, and consider myself a pizza connoisseur. The price you cant beat for the flavor! The owner, Pat Fruin, is a remarkable guy. "Sometimes you wanna go where everyone knows your name!" Keeping going there, he will start calling you by name. He is that kind of business man and that is the kind of business I want to support.

Loved Flingers Pizza Pub. I really enjoy the Craft Pizzas as they are unique and I enjoy that. I had the Grill Master and it was delicious! I also really enjoy the selection of local brew. You can go traditional as my son did with a cheese pizza (The Selfie) or change things up a bit and get a fabulous and different pizza and pair it with great beer! Thank you Flingers we will return because I need to try The White Chick!

Brought my friends from Chicago here for the first time the other day and the food was so much less delicious than I remembered. The Union Joe/Jack (?) pizza recipe has been upgraded but its terrible. My friend also got hot oil spilled on his shorts so he wasnt happy about that. I dont know if there are cost-saving measures going on but the quality has gone down already. So sad.

This is my haunt for Sundays. Its a nice homely atmosphere and solid food with an excellent beer menu. The staff is friendly and its always a great experience. As for food...the wings are excellent but a little pricy...the rolls are cheap and very good. You wont go wrong and youll find something for your budget. All in all, strongly recommended.

Its a pizza pub. Pizza and beer, not a lot of other things (e.g., no burgers). Many of their appetizers are not very large (not really a complaint). They have a good variety of beers on tap, many of which are nearby breweries. The pizzas are just different enough that makes this place a good alternative to always consider.

My favorite pizza in Bloomington. There are a lot of choices these out here, but these guys know how to build balance. Lots of topings built on a solid, hearty, tasty crust. The tap selection is the best in town. Almost wish they moved into the old Blue Line instead of Pub America. The beer can out perform Fat Jacks.

I usually enjoy their pizza but was disappointed with their taco pizza. It had a marinara sauce base which is gross mixed with taco toppings. Also they only gave us enough lettuce for half of the pizza. I gave them a three though because their other pizza is good.

After a long wait, theyre finally back... A contender for the best pizza in town, and a craft beer selection to match it. Their selection from local brewery White Oak is a nice touch as well. If youve never been here, definitely check out the Flinger Rolls.

One of the best pizza places in town. Excellent draft beer selection as well. Pizza can be a bit on the pricey side, so if youre not rolling with a group I recommend the flinger rolls. Think something like a stromboli or a pizza burrito. Good stuff.

The food was excellent but it was so incredibly loud that having a conversation with anyone not sitting right next to you is impossible. My 4 year old held his ears and cried until half the place cleared out. Take out is a much better option here.

Great pizza dough and pizza sauces. Wide variety of pizza sizes and ingredients. Thin crust,standard and thick crusted. Large beer selection including craft beers. Wings are outstanding. You will want to come back after your initial visit.

To make it short:. I cannot eat tomatoes, onions, or garlic, or anything spicy, and the waitress still found me a workaround for the pizza. Very kind and dedicated. And the pizza itself is delicious! Im amazed, gastritis safe pizza...

Loved this business since its original location, glad to see it back food still as delicious have eaten there a few times since I moved to town and even had delivery and delivery guy was very nice Will definitely continue to eat here

Love Flingers! We had a baby shower there this past weekend. Pat was awesome and very easy to work with. Everyone loved the food. The staff was excellent and kept everyone in food and drink during the shower. 5 stars!

Definitely the best pie in the Blo/No area. I was glad to finally find a decent pizza parlor down here. I am originally from the Chicago area so I was very disappointed with the pizza down here until Flingers opened.

Flingers is a great local find. There craft beer selection is fantastic and food is simple but delicious. Even though theres a bar right there it is still very family friendly. Its definitely worth the price too.

The service is good, the food is great and the beer selection is amazing. We dined with lactose free friends and it was not a problem. Flingers has now become a regular part of our Bloomington trips

Server wasnt very good with getting our drinks refilled just didnt seem like she knew what she was doing. Pizza was good until we got home and got sick. Many other better pizza places then this one.
