Passing thru the area on the way back towards Chicago, I was using google maps for some suggestions in the area and this was the first place listed. Checked it out on yelp and had to check it out. This is a very cool venue. I wont go into the history and all those details, because thats one of things to find out while youre here. Also find the fact/history book they have, its a fun read with some cool interesting facts. The bar/restaurant area is very nicely done. Large bar, lots of space in the restaurant area. A nice outdoor seating area with fireplaces everywhere. The staff here was very friendly and professional. There was just two of us, so we sat at the bar, got the low down on the place talking with the bartenders and started off the night with some of their beers and the smoked cheddar and spinach dip. This was one of the best dips Ive had in a long time, and the bread was very good! For the main, we just went with several small plates and the fish tacos because everything just sounded very good, we wanted to try as much as we could. Beer mussels: wonderful dish, and the broth was very tasty, you get a good portion for two people to share Short rib risotto: Short rib meat was amazing, very succulent and the risotto wasnt too bad, just a little too cheesy for my taste, but I cant complain to much, who doesnt like cheese? Fish tacos: very good, nice and fresh tasting If I could physically eat all night, I would have ordered one of each of the small plates, they all sound that good. If Im ever back in the area, I will definitely make it a priority to come back here again.

This place would get 5 stars if they did something about their parking situation (maybe lease space at the Metra station on weekends and evenings when fewer people are using the train?). They have valet parking but I honestly dont like giving my car keys to strangers and parking on your own after 5 PM is nearly impossible. This restaurant is so large that even if the lot is full, theres likely plenty of open tables inside. The main restaurant actually has two levels and a bar with additional outdoor seating in the summer months. Then theres a whole separate sports bar and a coffee shop in addition to banquet facilities so the capacity is much higher than their parking lot suggests. The beer is excellent as is the food. I really wish theyd bring the skirt steak sandwich back to the menu, but other items are great as well. Their appetizers are actually large enough for 2-3 people to share in lieu of an actual "meal" and youll still be quite full.

We were there last Saturday, September 10, 2011. Five family members met there, including a young couple that recommended the place. Our server evidently didnt think we looked like big tippers (and that is a WRONG assumption), because we had a hard time getting her attention. She eventually passed us along to a nice fellow, who assured us she had just been cut from the floor and would be leaving. The food was good- I had a grilled chicken sandwich, and a cous cous salad. We eventually all parted ways. My sister-in- law and I decided wed sit outside in their courtyard and enjoy the evening and the live music out there, before we left. It was very nice. When we left, our original server was still there, not cut from the staff. We had not been rude or demanding. She had been inattentive, and we didnt jump on her for it or treat her badly. The food was good, the music was great, but Ill never go there again.

I decided not to make a review here the past two visits because I really want to like this place. But three strikes youre out. We were part of a decent sized group, 15-20. The service was really bad and slow. My order was screwed up and the food was cold ish, as in had been sitting out for way too long. It was just a simple burger. I couldnt even send it back because the server didnt come back to check on it. As bad luck would have it, my frustration grew even more because my beer was empty when the food was dropped off, but I wasnt asked if I wanted another, and again, they didnt come back. I normally understand that groups are difficult, but I had the same experience with tables of 2-4 people, hence finally posting the negative review. BTW, the burgers at the Warrenville location are much, much better.

This venue is huge and there is something for everyone! Want a beer? Sure! Hungry? Eat here! Wanna get married? They got you covered! The building is shaped like a doughnut... I mean, how could it be bad? Theres a restaurant area if you want to eat and drink beer. Theres an indoor music stage/bar if you want to listen to music and drink beer. In the center of the doughnut, theres an outdoor courtyard and if you want to be one with nature and drink beer. And they have banquet halls if you want to celebrate any occasion and drink beer. Its worth a visit just to take a peek the venue have a couple brews. I do wish they had some darker beers on there menu; I can only drink so many IPAs before my palette starts to yearn for a chocolately porter or stout. Regardless, Ill be back to try something off their menu.

Cool stop on my suburban adventure and am so glad we stumbled upon Two Brothers Roundhouse! This is a historic limestone railroad roundhouse which has been completely renovated and decked out by Two Brothers! They brew beer here, have a deli, a full restaurant/pub, great outdoors space and a banquet hall for weddings and special events. We stopped in for a Sunday lunch and without knowing the size, called ahead to see if there were tables available - of course there were many as the space is ginormous! I has a delicious grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and provolone and we were in and out within an hour (which was great since we had tickets to a show). If I lived closer-by this would be a go to spot as they also have live music and movies.

I have NOT been here in over six years, and when I was, good place to visit. Well,I went last night for some dinner, we walked in and our first waiter came over with menus, asked if wanted something to drink, I asked for two waters and a grapefruit shandy, hes answer was we dont have shandys. Ok, walks away. Second waiter brings us the water and says hes here all night. After ten min. A third waiter asked if we needed anything and we stated yrs someone to take our order. We got our food, it was so so. The first two waiters never came back, and were seen rubbing the shoulders of a waitress. I was very disappointed in the service, the food, and the lack of waiters ability to explain the beers they have NOW. I will NOT be returning AGAIN!

Had the WORST SERVICE I have ever had here. I have been a waitress in the past, and a bartender - and would never treat a customer like this! It took 25 min before a server even came to take a drink order, didnt even bring menus. When we asked for menus it took another 5 min to get them, and then another 5 min to get out drinks. When we finally placed our order - it took 45 min to get out food that came out lukewarm at best. Unbelievable! We did ended up speaking with the manager - and they did comp out party of 4 meals for all the bad service / food. But the damage was still done - and will never go back here! + we were all still hungry when we left as the food didnt taste very good.
