Ordered food for a decent sized party, and the person who answered the phone could barely speak English let alone understand it, took my phone number down wrong (even though I repeated it multiple times) so when the delievery guy couldnt find my apartment he had to wait until we called him to be able to get our number. Then the delivery guy calls and is obviously stressed out and is giving me an attitude on the phone. Had to walk to the leasing office to pick up my food and because its the middle of winter the food had cooled down on my walk back to my apartment. Called to complain to the restaurant and the guy who answered just hung up on me. Then I get a call from his wife to say she apologizes, but says that these things happen. Honestly will not order from them again, based plainly on their customer service. China 1 in Rolling Meadows definitely has better food and better customer service. I should have just ordered from them.

There are a couple other good places for Chinese food, but China Wok is the best Chinese in the area. China Wok is a hidden gem in Arlington Heights. We started going here 11 years ago when we moved to AH. The food is so good we have had them cater several parties. The portions are very generous. The chicken is all white meat. The beef is always tender. It is a small family business and the owners are friendly everytime. Its mostly a carry out restaurant, but there are a couple tables if you wanted to eat there. We have recommended China Wok to relatives and friends and they all are China Wok regulars now.

We are not from the area and read reviews to try and find good Chinese fare...the reviews were spot on (great food!) however the restaurant needed cleaning. :( The food we ordered was some of the best tasting Chinese weve eaten and was hot and very fresh. The restaurant workers were SO friendly and greeted us with such kindness. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the cleanliness and not having an actual place to eat inside.

I have been a customer for many years!!! They have absolutely the best General Taos Chicken. I have not yet come around to a place that can beat it. They do not cut corners so you can truly taste the difference compared to other competitors. The Mongolian beef and crab ragoons are good as well. This small Chinese carryout is a true gem with its customer service.

Still very open contrary to the previous review. I have been a customer for a number of years and always found the food constant and tasty. Great value for lunch including the fact that you can choose white rice or fried rice and egg roll or crab rangoon.

Wish I could give it zero stars! Had food from here delivered from grubhub and ended up getting food poisoning from the Orange Chicken. Had to spend the day in the hospital due to their food. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
