I went in and had the worst experience I could ever have at a place. The bar OWNER, who was drinking, was despicable. There was someone who was drunk, and her fiance suddenly came in out of nowhere to where everyone was sitting and dragged her by her hair and threw her head into the wall. There were 2 men who came to this girls side but the bar OWNER excused the fiance by constantly saying it was excusable because he was the fiance. When I commented that I was about to call the police due to the OWNER letting this fiance into the back room where this woman was after he smashed her head into a wall.....she kicked me and my friend out of the bar as well as the other people trying to help this woman out. Ive never been so shocked to see such despicable behavior as a person. I will never support this business seeing as how its owned by someone who supports domestic violence. Please spread the word.

Im not sure what everyones problem is, but my husband and I just became recent regulars and the place is great. We had maybe 2 teenagers there, but they werent served alcohol. The bartender, Jim, is pretty great to talk to. Hes polite, and pretty funny. The food is pretty great and the atmosphere couldnt be better. Ive also been in there enough times to know the bar IS biker friendly. I notice they dont come around because they have younger crowds between 21-30 coming in acting like they know whats up with the world. Other than that, everything is good.

This place could be a great place to stop if the owners wife had a personality. They advertise it as biker friendly but it is becoming known amongst the biker crowd as biker unfriendly. The food certainly is nothing to write home about either. Customer service is below average. We went back for a third time just to make sure that we might have hit a bad day but she never changes her personallity for the better.One of the owners is great, the other and his wife are lacking what it takes to get people to come back.

Ive been in hundreds of Biker Friendly bars, and this is a GREAT BAR!! Im Not sure if its been sold since the one guys review. But ive NEVER had anyone not be friendly & always get great food. The bathrooms are NOT ALWAYS SPOTLESS But ive NEVER HAD ANYONE REFUSE TO CLEAN IT UP IF I ASKED EITHER, BRING The Problem to the owners & its TAKEN CARE OF ON THE SPOT!!! GO IN MEET Some new people & enjoy a burger at a good price!

Ive been going to this place for several years and have seen many management changes. I wouldnt call it a true biker bar anymore. Im a bicycle commuter and they dont mind me stopping in for a beer or two. Try the burgers, they are awesome. Side note, I would disregard any reviews older than 2 years old due to changing staff.

Partenders were friendly. The owner was racist and when I messaged the bar or the Facebook they totally ignored me and say they will get back to me which never happened. I dont blame ignorance or idiocy. This is life you just gonna meet good and bad. I would not t recommend the bar to anyone I know

Their menu doesnt match what they actually have, their kitchen hours fluctuate so much that you cant count on being able to get a meal, and the bartender spends more time chatting with friends than attending to customers.

On a Tuesday afternoon it was quiet. The beer was good and cold. There were ashtrays out on all the tables and you could taste the cigarettes in the air even though we were the only ones there.

Were not "regulars" but have been going to the Shovel for years. We always enjoy ourselves. Have been theres for lunch & dinner ... Never had a bad meal. Prices are average.
