Perhaps there is more wrong with Panera bread as a whole opposed to this particular location. This is my second time at a Panera Bread but my first experience was decent enough for me to return. If this had been my first experience at a Panera Bread I would have never returned. I will break this review down into two portions so it does not seem like a rant. Food- I ordered the steak and white cheddar Panini. I was less than impressed. I am sure they are allotted a specific amount of onions per sandwich that they are able to use, which is still far too many. There person that I came in with ordered the same thing, there were so many onions on this sandwich that we both ended up picking as many as we could off of the sandwich. Bread was so so. Cheese on the sandwich was tolerable but easily forgettable. It did not have the richness I associate with a Vermont cheddar. The amount of steak on the sandwich was dismal. The horseradish sauce is what really made the sandwich a nightmare. I would never want to order this sandwich again, yuck. Experience- I walked in the door and waited in line. 3 people were in front of me took 5 minutes to get to the front. There were two cash registers that were so close together that there was not enough room for myself and the other individual to stand side by side. We kind of shrugged to the side to stay out of the way. I got the disingenuous early twenties guy with glasses and a smug demeanor. I would like to say he was hospitable but that seems like it would have required too much effort from him. I sat in a booth waiting for my food. The inside of the restaurant and the patterned booths made me feel like I was in an airport restaurant in the mid 90s. I think Panera Bread has some serious structural and branding issues that need to be addressed in order to expect any sort of growth as a company. This place has made my bottom 3 restaurant choices for sure. Will avoid.

Its amazing how a place that has such an amazing reputation have such poor service. 1st issue i ordered waited and then was told 10 minutes AFTER i paid i was told what i ordered was not available and to rush to figure out what i wanted instead. 2nd issue my friend ordered a salad i believe the fuji apple salad the people preparing the food mustve forgotten the ingredients ( probably because several of them were on their phones) and put blueberries in her salad, which she is allergic to we told the manager( who said he was in training) and he basically walked away 3rd issue YOU SHOULD NOT BE ON THE PHONE, TOUCHING YOUR HAIR AND RUBBING YOUR FACE, EVEN WITH GLOVES ON AND THEN PREPARE FOOD MAJOR VIOLATION IN FOOD PREPARATION. To top it off one of the employees had the nerve to tell me maybe i should never come back. I have contacted corporate via phone and plan on emailing as well. At no point should a paying customer be treated like nothing, nor should allergies be ignored. Poor service great food when its correct yet after seeing the cleanliness of those making the food im not too sure that statement would remain true. I was given a refund and thrown a cheese danish( not my choice) definitely not a good experience

horrible! i have never had such a bad experience at panera, but then again this was my first time at this location. To start, i called to place an order for pick up, once the order was placed i asked if i could pay over the phone and the gentleman told me all i had to do was walk in and pay at the counter when i picked up the order! I explained to him that i was not the one picking it up so that is why i wanted to pay. He said oh, well i cant get to a register anyway. So once my co-worker went to pick up the order it was not ready!!! and when we tried to order again they said that they did not have any potato soup, that it was only offered on certain days. So i called there to speak with a manager, Tim, who was equally as rude and could care less what had happened. All he said was Im sorry and ill see if i can find out who you spoke with, enjoy the rest of your day. Needless to say i will not be going back to this location. FYI....if you dont like your job STAY HOME!

As someone who works at a bagel shop I can tell you that the bad reviews are from customers with little to no patience/knowledge of how these types of restaurants run. When you get these types of customers they claim to know good service because they serve tables, but the reality is these jobs require you too bake 3am. Its not an easy job and its very tiresome. Please before posting a review, consider the job they have to do. Trust me, its not worth minimum wage. Dont go into a restaurant where the employees are getting paid 7 bucks and hour and expect 5 star customer service. That literally is like going to the worst motel and expecting a spa suite treatment. Get over yourselves, grab your food, leave the store, and worry about your own attitude towards other people. I mean they dont write reviews on how bitchy of a customer you are.

The sandwhich I got was really good although slightly overhyped. Steak Asiago is actually cold steak which looks more like roast beef. The soups were not ready which was a bummer and so I was unable to to the Take 2. The cheese danish was alright but has that gummy texture. She didnt even warm it up. They forgot to give me my cup. I had to ask. They forgot to give me my chips. I had to ask. Overall a 3 star food with 2 star experience. I would only come back if Im craving Panera. Otherwise pass and go somewhere better.

went here this morning, someone took my bagel, but didnt care. the customer service was so awesome i could careless. it was nice to see ppl including the manager happy, helpful, and friendly this morning. I loved my Asiago cheese bagel, with the encouragement of the choice of veggie cream cheese. I think I like place even more in the morning, than I do in the afternoon. very happy and content with my visit. I think I will be back more in the mornings.

Server was somewhat friendly when I first stood in line. She was more cordial after she served me. Wait time for my order was short but my soup was spilled in my bag like they rushed making my order. Not completely pleasant experience. May not return to this store again or any other location. This was my first experience back in a Panera location in a while and it wasnt good.

Very spacious, and youll almost always find a place to sit if you go at the right time. Really comfortable and nice to go with groups. I did have a little confrontation with the manager, but it was partially my fault. Food might arrive a little late, but not inconveniently so.

Cant say that Ive had a poor experience with the food, however some of the staff could be a little more hospitable. When ordering, I sometimes feel like Im at the airport dealing with TSA agents on a holiday. If the staff was friendlier this would be a 5 star review.
