My fiance and I have been here before and thoroughly enjoyed the food, so we were looking forward to a delicious soup and sandwich on a chilly evening. Our experience started going downhill as soon as we walked in the door. There was no one greeting customers to begin their order (not that big of a deal), even though they was barely anyone in the restaurant. When the employee took my order, she had to ask several times what I wanted. She had the hardest time comprehending that all I wanted was meat and cheese on my sandwich! Once we finally made it down toward the cash register, my fiance asked that his soup come out with his sandwich so it wouldnt get cold. She could not comprehend this concept either! However, the manager told her several times, in a sarcastic tone, that he wanted the soup with the meal. I understand he was trying to explain this to her, but he did it in such a sarcastic and rude tone that we felt uncomfortable. We sat down and when the food came out, my sandwich (a very simple one) was incorrect. It had meat and the apple stuff on it. I told the employee who brought it out of the error. He took the sandwich back, but when he brought out the corrected sandwich, it was wrong again. Just meat this time. Really, how difficult is this?? He, again, took the sandwich back. I followed him this time and three employees stood around trying to fathom that all I wanted was meat and cheese. The female employee who took my order began to say that all I asked for was meat and I quickly told her that was not the case. I told her that I reiterated several times that I wanted meat and cheese. Finally, the manager came out (the same one that spoke to her rudely before). He took the sandwich and assured me he would fix it. While the sandwich was being prepared he came out to speak with me. He apologized but in the same sarcastic tone he stated that mistakes can happen. I tried to explain how many times the mistake was made, but he spoke over me and in a tone I did not appreciate. I actually had to ask him to let me finish. I explained to him that I was very hungry because I hadnt eaten since very earlier int he day and he said he couldnt help that but he would fix the sandwich. He left and returned with the sandwich and gave both my fiance and I gift cards to repay us for our meal. While I appreciate the gesture, he used the same tone. I also would have rather had the money back because I do not want to go back to this place. I understand that employees make mistakes, but a man like this should not be running a restaurant. I know many people searching for jobs that would have better customer service than this man. Also, if Im spending thirty bucks on soups and sandwiches, I expect better customer service. I dont usually write reviews and this may not deter you from going here, but I hope it helps!

I typically love LA Madelines pastries and service. However, this mornings service was awful. I called before I came to ensure that they had white chocolate mochas. They assured me that they did. So I made the trip to the cafe. I ordered and had paid when I was informed that they dont have white chocolate mochas. I declined any other coffee drinks. When he was walking away, I heard him say she shouldnt come here for speciality coffee drinks. She should go to Starbucks. After speaking with Mike, the manager, I wanted to update the review. Mike is professional, kind and eager to help his customers. He was genuinely concerned about what I had to share. He is awesome! Mike, thank you!!

I live in the East Cobb area and love La Madeline. However, my family and I will go to the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody location. The customer service at the East Cobb location is horrible. I did not feel welcome at all. In fact, the service here is rarely accetable and the food is marginal compared to other La Madeline locations. I stood at the front counter while a worker chatted with a person she either knew or just met for nearly10 minutes and she did not even acknowledge that I was standing there. I spend the extra time and gas going across town to a location where the customer service is always great as well as the food.

We had an excellent brunch today! We started at The Cafe Paris but ended up walking out because the menus were super dirty, they were out of certain food items, and the lady at the registers customer service was lack-luster. We happened upon La Madeleine and were greeted by the GM, Peter. He talked us through the menu and even accomodated our customized order. The crepes, eggs, potato gelette & strawberry roumelade were to die for. Excellent food, outstanding service, and fantastic atmosphere! WE WILL BE BACK THIS WEEKEND.

Filthy. The patio is filled with cobwebs, spilled something that looks like vomit, and dirty tables. And only one of the four ceiling fans work. The food: ok. McCasisters has a better French dip. And, while seated in these beautiful surroundings, you can clearly hear the staff on their smoke break around the corner, cursing loudly about one of the waiters. The F-word being every 5th word. Then, throwing their cigarette butts down as they walk thru the bushes onto the patio Ah, France.

I keep getting disappointed here. All I ever want is the Chicken Cordon Blue Pasta. I ask for no peas and no peppers due to allergy to one. When I got my order there was tomatoes on it. Nowhere in the description of the dish I picked does it say that it has tomatoes. This is not the first time this has happened. I hate picking out something that I did not order or ask for from my food. There is only three pastas on the menu. How could you mix that up?

What a let down. French onion soup tasted like it was made with saltwater. Onions were mush and the cheese was sprinkled on. The French dip was horrible. No flavor and dripping with mayo. Even one of the employees brought their own food to eat outside. I dont know why people were going in. I felt like telling everybody it was a trap. Left all the food and went to maddios across the parking lot.

My fiance and I always have a wonderful experience. The food is superb and the staff is friendly and actually take time to know you. The presentation of everything is perfect and I absolutely love the french cafe atmosphere. I have never been disappointed at the Roswell location. It really is always a pleasure. Keep up the great work guys! :)

Great food and great coffee. The service suffers when they get too busy, and they are usually busy. It may take you a little time to get through the line and the kitchen delivers food a little slow as well but I have never ordered anything that I didnt love or received bad service (aside from timeliness) in any of my many visits.

The food was good, but the customer service is horrible here. The lady that work at the front is so rude, she didnt understand English very well and got upset when I asked for the scrambled eggs, she keeps asking if I wanted it fried when I was saying that I wanted scrambled eggs.
