This place has the most amazing Persian food! We drive for 20 minutes or more just to enjoy this food for special occasions. I usually get a chicken kabob that is grilled with Tangy juice which comes with this amazing rice ( their rice alone taste amazing because how they make it). Usually when you order their dish it comes with a side salad and pita bread. They do have other item like gyro, salad and platter etc but for past few years I have been getting the same thing which is my chicken kobob dish. When you first get there you cant tell where it is because its behind a building, they do have a outside and inside seating. The place itself has a nice casual ambiance, the inside is like little Countryside from Europe and the outside is like having dinner in your backyard with lanterns lighting up in the night which is cute. And the owner/manager (not sure) is so sweet he comes around asking how everyone is, always given me that warm welcome. I always enjoyed their food.

Im a regular here and its a true hole in the wall. Although the spot is unkempt in appearance and hidden; the food is exceptional! Pros: Tasty food, a ton of rice thats well buttered Cons: Odd videos on play, aesthetically unpleasing, tables are uncleaned around you for many minutes, limited drink menu Service: A staff of dull ladies. Theyre neither happy nor unhappy to see you. Waitresses do not care to ask if you need anything. Taste: I get the chicken kabob. DAYUM! Soo tender and savory! Not enough meat, mostly rice fills you :-( Timing? The duration fluctuates, expect to sit for an hour or one and a half hour. Return? Yes, for a casual experience.

This is our weekend Koobideh place. Absolutely TOP NOTCH koobideh that can rival Alborz and Nayeb in Iran itself. We like the kashko badmejun too. Its not exactly authentic but delicious nonetheless. The food is really good and extremely affordable. And the portions are very large. Mr. Reza is very kind and he is always there to ask how we liked our food and give us complementary tea.. The entrée comes with salad and bread. Dont be fooled by the humble looking decor and atmosphere. The food is very high quality, delicious and awesome!

This is my absolute favorite Iranian restaurant in the city. The portions are generous and the food is fantastic. I crave the Fesenjan (Chicken in Walnut and Sour Cherry paste). The service is okay, but if you stay friendly, the server will warm up to you. The owner is very friendly and very open to constructive criticism. The ambiance is okay. It is definitely a "hole in the wall", but clean. The restroom is clean enough. The food is the star and overshadows the "okayness" of the other aspects.

Excellent service and excellent food. Its not a fancy place and it feels like a dive but that adds to the ambience. Pricing was good and left satisfied at a good price. I had the hummus plate which as a creamy delicious hummus with paprika with warm pits bread. The Falafal was messy and satisfying with layers of hummus. The baklava was doughy and crispy and not too sweet served with fresh hot tea that was delicious. The tea is so good you wont need sugar.

Always a good sign when you Persian people eating in a Persian restaurant. You can tell that little old Persian couple that runs this place, really cares about what there serving. I had the chicken kabob plate. It came with rice, salad and bread. The salad was nice, crisp, and refreshing, the pitas came out hot, and my chicken and rice was delicious. All for a very reasonable price in a very quaint and modest atomsphere.

The chicken kabobs and rice are the best tasting around. I know they have other stuff on the menu but I just cant go there and get anything else. Ive tried to duplicate the flavor of the kabobs and it never comes close. I tell the owner the spices I used and he always says "yes, thats it!"...but in never is. Ive decided that I will have to get a part time job there to infiltrate the establishment.

This was my first time eating Persian food so I have nothing to compare it to, but it seemed very good. I had the falafel platter which has a good amount of food on it. It was fresh and served hot and was very flavourful. Health score was good at 97 which is something I look for at restaurants. Service was good but theyre understaffed, so plan to wait a little.

I am accustomed to Persian food and I like to cook myself. This is perhaps the best Kabob you can get in the whole city. I have tried several other places and tried making them myself, but their Koobideh is hands down amazing. Try their food and dont get distracted by the simple decor and the interior design. It is inexpensive, clean, and high quality food.

Ive been to places costing up to twice as much and the food quality doesnt beat Falafel. This restaurant doesnt try to offer every kind of dish, but focus instead on a smaller subset, and does it really well. Staff is also very friendly. Dont go for the atmosphere: thats not their strong point; go for the great food. And the price is also very reasonable.

The Kebob is ok if you go there, and eat, but if you call in, and place you kebob order for pick up thats a different story. I dont care how many time you tell them to cook the meat well, but they simply dont get it.I got some soltani today, brought it home, and had to through away more than half of it. It felt like you are eating almost raw meat.

Been here several times and were happy with the amazing quality of food every time. Our favorite is Koobideh kabob and they make the best Koobideh kabob in town no question about it. portions are generous and each plate comes with side salad and hot pita bread! highly recommend this place.

Its less than average food quality, Its very expensive on what they serve, Not much meat on the plate( Kabob ) And cry high price. I give it no star. Oh by the way interior like ceiling and walls and doors need fresh coat of painting. Kitchen is messy. Always employees are in a bad. mood.

Good place for middle eastern fare. Enjoyed Gyro, Gyro platter, tabouleh and hummus. Been twice for lunch. Not fast - they make everything to order and the kitchen is small. Seating areas inside and out. Pretty good option for the area. $10 to $12 plus tip for lunch.

We go here pretty often for work and they have the best falafel! It has become one of my favorite lunch spots. I usually get the falafel wrap, but my coworkers love the lamb so for meat eaters, definitely give it a try.

Best falafel ever. The service is great and friendly. The Falafel dishes are absolutely amazing, good hot tea, good baklava, nice chill atmosphere. I am a regular and dont plan to change that any time soon!

Food is good but not nearly as good as Basil Wraps. Falafel were not crisp on outside, tasted like they were reheated. Humus like baby food. Place is ok bit I wont be back. Laziza is way batter.
