The name says it all! Ive lived here 17 years, as an implant from Kansas City, MO. Ive hearda bout this place, but always thought it wasnt for me. I had some visitors come from my hometown, and suggested this place from some people they knew here. Boy was I wrong .I LOVED this place. The music was rightm the staff was very friendly, and the door fee was better than any other place on a Saturday night. The wings were great, the drink prices even better. The music and atmosphere were well worth the drive! If you love more traditional R&B and old school music- this is the place to go!

I had just gotten to The Atlanta Georgia & gotten a great job & got my own crib .I meant a friend and I asked where is a nice club and laid back & he mentioned The grown folks cafe and I laugh saying there is no such name I am u baby when I walked up in there it was on. I sat in that lounge getting great services from the servers drinks and food The double convosier conagna drinks. I danced like I was going to dance the night away & I knew that I was in a good atmosphere. The night that I had I do recommend.

Wife and I was looking for a place to go after I beat her on the Poole table we came across Grown Folks lets give it a try we never been there . There was only a few people there than about ten it was pack . They had a live band that was good. The food was OK and the service was a little slow at first until I ask for service after that they was on point wife and I had a good time glad we stop by will go back and this time we will dance.

I like the place I could get my groove on only bad thing was this guy bothering all night harassing me this nightclub should really invest in an air conditioner its very very hot in there a lot of people were leaving due to the excessive heat other then that I had a great time great music I will definitely go again,but management please get some after all this is georgia cone on guys cool us down so we can party all night long.

I went on Superbowl Sunday and had a blasssttt!!!! Love the grown up atmosphere. Im 30 but I felt very comfortable being some where where I could dance and not have a man grab my ass lol.. men were very respectful and simply gentlemen.. I gave it 4 stars because they closed at 3 LMAO and I got there about 1 .... (my fault of course] lol . Anywho, I will be back sooooon!!!!! Yes :)

Been here a coupla times before, but a guy I met at anthr party few wks ago turned me on to Sunday nite @ Grown Folks. OMG!!! Much better crowd, better DJ, & a live band. Went this past Sunday & though was kinda stood up, the wonderful DJ & Live Band more than made up for it. Also made a new friend. Sundays @ Grown Folks will definitely be added to my end of wknd schedule....

I absolutely have a great time every sunday i go. The atmosphere is turnt up but i love the fact theres a older crowd and you dont have to worry about fighting and drama. The lemon pepper wings are the best i have ever had, kinda wish the was open in the daytime just so i can come and eat.. Cheers to the chef..

Im here with a few friends and family(from Florida) on a Saturday night! The host is talking his ass off about birthday shotouts!! Almost 30 min SMH. I came and invited my friends & family for music and a good time. I asked for the manager and still havent seen him or her. I will never come back!!!

Very nice inside food and dancing but outside a different story ,my car was broken into and it was park right in front of the door where security was standing ,many items took from my car ,I told manager and they replied "sorry" that did nothing for me .YES THIS PLACE IS IN THE HOOD BECAREFUL!!!!!

Overall nice place to relax have some fun. Drinks are good. Service is good. Music is great and sometime live music as well. The only let down is their food. Fs across the board on that. Patrons are classy plus you have to be 30 yrs old to get in. Thats a definite plus! Highly recommended spot!

Ive had some great times and some not so great times. Sadly it depends on whos working at the time and if they feel like being hospitable from the door to the wait staff. Great music and crowd, especially duriing the holidays. But a little too cramped and packed to capacity.

Fri & Sun is my choice to go due to live music. Altho Im Pescatarian I love their rice & veggies with a glass of Cabernet... I had my bday celebration there twice & will do again (TeamAquarius) Keep up the gud manager skills Carl!!

Great place if they ever answer the phone to book a party. The voice mail states to call at 8pm, however never an answer by a live person. I end up going elsewhere.
