Our experience here was such a disappointment. We came in for lunch and was told it was a 15 minute wait, which we were totally fine with. After 25 minutes, we were asked if we would be ok with a high top table. We declined the high top table and waited for a normal table, still being patient. After 10 minutes we finally got seated, making our wait 35 minutes so far. After we were seated at our table, we were in shock of how many open tables there were around us!!! There were at least 8 tables free. We sat at our table for another 10 minutes and our server never showed up. It was like we didnt exist. As I put my purse on to leave, another server saw me and finally approached us and said he didnt know who was going to be our server but he would go ahead and get our drink order. After that, he continued to clean all the tables around us (when there were at least 5 already clean). As we are waiting even longer, I see this same server attending to all his other tables with no sense of urgency for us after he knew we had not been acknowledged. He still never came back with the drinks. I then notice the family of 5 that put their name on the waiting list 25 minutes after we did, already seated and placing their orders with their server. Thats when my husband and I finally became fed up and walked out. We had been waiting in that restaurant for over 45 minutes with half the restaurant being empty. We had been so patient and kind until it became ridiculous. I am not going to pay my hard working money in a restaurant that clearly didnt value our time or experience. We have never been to this restaurant and were really looking forward to trying their food. This was some of the worst service I have seen in a long time. After all this, I expressed my feelings to their manager and told her everything I have said here. She responded by apologizing and saying she told the server it was their table. So now everyone is pointing their fingers at eachother. It appeared as though they did not have enough staff based on all the empty tables. They need to work on their communication with one another and observing their surroundings of their guests. We will not be returning here.

Always a really great experience. We go all the time. Weve been going since they were at their other location, and Ive never had a bad experience. Amazing breakfast food and pretty great lunch as well. Youll find the classic breakfast staples as well as some more creative stuff. GREAT bloody Marys and other cocktails and they have terrific lattes. Service is always pretty quick, even when theyre packed. Great atmosphere and really nice staff. Always super clean, even the rr. I always get the breakfast bowl with avocado or the waffle sandwich (which is INSANE! SO GOOD) . Im a vegetarian and theyll always make something veggie even if it isnt that way on the menu. Tried the buffet today which was pretty great. Food was consistently replaced and was really good. Even the eggs were cooked really well and didnt taste like dry "buffet" eggs.

Let me start by saying the customer service was excellent. I have no issues with how i was greeted or treated. I ordered here for the first time and I am very disappointed. I ordered a burger and fries to go. I also got a frozen lemonade and a brownie. First, the frozen lemonade tastes like some one poured sugar, lemon juice and water in a cup and put it in the freezer. The fries taste like they were halfway between done and freshly chopped . The burger was the most disgusting thing Ive ever had. It was burnt on half of the bottom and the way it was seasoned made it unbearable to eat. It tasted like half a gallon of black pepper was poured on it and then they cooked it. The brownie was the best thing to come from this.

I went here a few weeks ago on a Sunday morning and an employee was holding a baby while handling and serving food. I assume this was the proprietor or manager because she was wearing a red sweater and the rest of the staff was wearing black. She didnt sit at a table the whole time I was there and she was taking food straight from the window, so she was definitely an employee. She would both serve food while holding a baby and not wash her hands in between handing the baby and handling the food. This was in the dining room in plain view of guests. If the manager cares this little about hygiene and food safety on the dining floor, I can only imagine what goes on in the back of house.

I had the curried chicken and apple panini on rye, with a side of Mediterranean pasta salad. The average meal is $8-$10. The decor inside and out is country chic, very nicely done, not cheesy. The staff was very friendly. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars was the 30 minute (possibly more) wait from the time we ordered till the time we got our food, and how long we had to wait for the bill to arrive. In their defense, they did get slammed rather suddenly. At any rate, Id love ❤ to go at night and try eating al fresco. The patio areas look like they would be a treat at night. I would definitely recommend this little tucked away Cafe.

Family owned business with courteous service and an attentive staff. Simple, but very satisfying menu. Everything but the bagels and breads are made fresh in-house every day and all meals are cooked to order. We had the waffle sandwich w/bacon and the breakfast bowl w/sausage. It was absolutely delicious not to mention the doughnuts! The business is dedicated to the owners late dear grandmother, who was the inspiration behind the venture as well as the recipes uded in some of its menu items, was born in "33".

I have worked across the street going on 3 years and never went to Cafe 33 for lunch. I was definitely missing out! The food is amazing. I got the caesar salad and a side of loaded skillet potatoes. I could eat the potatoes alone as a meal! A coworker got the South of the Border Press and a side of loaded skillet potatoes. We are both planning our next lunch visit which will probably be some time within the next couple of days! So glad we found a yummy lunch spot with a big variety!

My husband and I really liked this place. Typically, one bad experience doesnt deter me from a place or encourage a negative review but in this case it does. I will say first that their food is good-looking especially the homemade donuts. Unfortunately our most recent experience that included speaking with the server multiple times, nicely, and management left me so disgusted with our treatment that given new breakfast places open nearby it is unlikely we will return.

I have been here twice now and both times the food has been great. The first time I ordered biscuits and gravy. This was a good choice and quite tasty. The second time was the Bourbon Brisket sandwich which was fabulous. It had a great flavor. When you get fruit for your side it is good selection of nice and fresh fruit (unlike many places where you get a fruit salad that was made the day before or hours ago). Service is great as well. Well definitely be back.
