This is the only fast food place I pass after I get off on the exit to go home. I stop here frequently when I want to grab something. Normally I will go through the drive thru but it takes absolutely FOREVER!! So I figured I would try pulling into one of the spots the next few times. Nobody ever answers when you press the button; Ive even tried going to multiple units. There is an issue when it takes longer to sit there and wait for them to bring a burger out than it would take me to pull into kroger get ground beef take it to my house and cook it myself. Why does every car in the drive thru have to cut its engine off because its wasting more money in gas than it even costs for the food. I went there tonight and sat in the drive thru and on the side waiting for my food for over 30 minutes. I wouldnt complain if this was a one time thing but Ive been there probably 10 times total and have never waited less than 20 minutes for my order. And half the time even after that long they still mess up the order. Most of the times when I go there is only 2 or 3 cars in the whole place so its not even busy. There needs to be a change in management and staff there. Horribly underperforming and something needs to be done or knock it down and build a Wendys!!

I barely ever write reviews. However, this is something I definitely need to say. Me and mom have tried twice to go here just to get something to drink. Both times we have pressed the button and the person on the other end says can we give them a minute. We say yes, but then a long time goes by and they never come back and take our order. Today it was a nice day so we thought we would get out of our cars and place our order at the front. We stood there through a lot of wind (it was excellent temperature. We didnt realize it would be windy) after my mom just got her hair done for at least ten minutes just waiting for them to call back and take our order. Who knows how long we would have even had to wait for our drinks. We had to leave cause we couldnt wait any longer. The fact that this has happened twice has just driven me to the point of writing such a negative review. I really do like their food and slushies and milkshakes, but seriously not worth this. Update: We went back today because we really wanted a drink and there was no one there. It went really well. I changed their rate to three stars compared to the initial one. However, this doesnt change the fact that there is a better location a little farther in the other direction.

I will NEVER return. I live in Lawrenceville. I used to drive to Suwanee Sonic bcs the Lawrenceville Sonic never put cherries in the cherry limeaid even when requested and extra money was charged. When service at Suwanee diminished, we started going to Lawrenceville again bcs they promised they had changed service. We actually got VERY good drinks that day. That was one day. One. I have received, from Lawrenceville on riverside, styrofoam in my drinks and my 2 year olds drink, I have gotten water and cherry syrup (2 times) but tonight, we sat for several minutes at the drive thru, calling hello multiple times to get service. It took several more minutes to get 2 cherry limeaids and a coke. It looked as if one man was working and a woman was visiting with people in cars. Our drinks were basically sprite and cherry syrup. No limes no cherries.. not even a logo on the cup. But as i drank. I felt something odd in my mouth... it was a piece of plastic. I am calling corporate tomrrow because, I am paying full price (or more) for drinks containing less than required additives on multiple occasions. I will never go there again.

I will NEVER return to this sonic!! I ordered a large dr. Pepper.... waited almost 15 mins for it in the drivethru.... and I was the ONLY ONE IN THE DRIVETHRU!.... and when I take a sip as Im driving down the street I suck up PAPER AND PINEAPPLE!!!!!!!! OMG!! I spit it right out!!!! Its definitely paper and pineapple!! I open my lid and theres a few bits of pineapple floating in there!! I turn around and go back. This time I goto a pull up station so maybe I can get faster service. Took them 3 minutes to answer the button. I told her what happened and asked for a replacement drink and my money back. The girl apologized and said okay. I wait 9 MORE MINUTES AND NO ONE CAME. So i hit the button again... this time its a guy.... I tell him the story over again and hes like oh you want a dr pepper?... and Im like YES!!!!! he finally comes out and hands me one. I told him that was disgusting to suck paper and he just starts LAUGHING!!!!! AND I DIDNT EVEN GET MY REFUND!!!! Whoever is hiring these POS is ruining this location.

We had a shockingly nasty visit to the Riverside Sonic on 08/25/13 Earlier tonight, around 9:50pm, we went through the Riverside Sonic drivethru, ordered ice cream cones, and then politely requested, "please wait to make our ice cream cones until the last minute so that they are not dripping when we receive them." To which the gentleman manning the speaker nastily replied, "Well, its the express line, so we make it when you order it." "But," we responded, "we dont want it all melted and dripping." "Well, if its all drippy, thats just what you get," he spat back. Needless to say, we canceled our order and went elsewhere. Unfortunately, we see no reason to return either if such a response is considered acceptable towards customers (and, to reiterate, we were very pleasant and polite throughout the entire exchange, which makes it all the more unsettling. No thanks.)

Please note: this is in fact a positive review... I recently noticed unauthorized activity on my account that was shown to originate at this location. I took the necessary precautions of contacting my bank and contacting sonic corporate to advise them of the activity. I received a very quick response from Roger who fully explained the situation and apologized for the inconvenience this has caused me. He was very professional and seemed genuinely invested in retaining my patronage, which not only impressed me, but also has made me a very loyal customer. Thank you, Roger for trying to make things right! Restaurant staff, take note and be like Roger! I know you all are friendly and want to be at your best so remember professionalism is important and will take you far. I love my neighborhood sonic, and will continue to be a regular guest at this location.

I came in this morning for a burrito and iced coffee. I printed my ticket at 8:12 am. It is now 8:41, I am late for work and still waiting on an iced vanilla coffee... yeah I think its clear to say the service sucks!! Then the lady runner said "its just one of me".. as if them being short staffed is an issue of mine. Thus service is so slow I will probably get this coffee tomorrow. I attempted to put in a call to the General Manager at the number listed on the ticket and his phone is not accepting calls. It is now 8:42 the lady runner just handed me this coffee and walked off with the biggest attitude. I will not be spending my money here EVER again. I will drive out of my way to go to Chick-fil-A where they appreciate their customers.
