The life you save maybe your own. Approximately 3 1/2 weeks ago we dined at the Grecian Gyro. Two young women prepared our orders and the 3rd woman was our cashier. We later learned the cashier was also the manager. We requested the onions be sautéed with our lamb in addition to none of Nicks Grecian sauce on our gyro or potatoes. The order was prepared incorrectly. The establishment is small. Patrons are able to sit at a counter while viewing the preparation of their orders. 1. Raw onions were placed on the gyros. We alerted the employee preparing and packaging the gyros. She unwrapped the gyros and began to remove the onions (she then placed raw onions back on gyro) and her manager told her to place sauce on the gyro so it could be sold to another patron as a regular gyro. This was a red flag. Why should an unsuspecting customer receive an old incorrect order? 2. The woman working grill began clanking knives and other utensils. Her demeanor was antagonistic. The manager requested she remake our order properly. It was evident by her body language that she was upset. She began singing about finding another job. Neither the grill cook nor the food prep employee apologized. 3. We received a root beer that was overly carbonated. The manager told us the soda machine was broken. Why sell patrons soda if you know the machine is not working properly? We returned again this evening (3/25/2016). We requested the order be prepared for dine in. There were two new employees cooking the food and preparing the orders. One older slender man and a woman named Stephanie. Stephanie worked the grill. The manager from our initial visit was also working. 1. The soda machine is not fixed yet this establishment is still selling soda according to the manager. 2. The slender man needs a class in food preparation and handling. He made some glaring errors that could cause health risks and unnecessary bacteria transfer to patrons. E. coli, salmonella, and Listeria monocytogenes would love this milieu. Hope you have good health insurance. 3. Once again a simple order was prepared incorrectly. Stephanie and the man were preparing it to go instead of dine in. Not sure why employees are not able to effectively communicate and follow through. Instead of apologizing for the error and correcting it Stephanie became defensive and rude. We were not rude nor disrespectful towards Stephanie. She couldnt admit a mistake occurred nor acknowledge her coworker was unwrapping food improperly that would be sold to someone else. She was dismissive and argumentative. Stephanie walked off as the customer spoke to her. The manager apologized but even she was not able to comprehend or acknowledge a simple error. The manager really doesnt have the basic critical thinking skills or people skills to handle situations with professionalism. She kept calling us HONEY and gave a series of insincere empty apologies. 4. Perhaps the prerequisite for working at the Grecian Gyro is a damaged prefrontal cortex. We will never go to this eatery ever again.

Absolutely delicious!!! Love the salad, gyro, and finally tried the potatoes about 5 several visits. Its my go-to Gyro Fix. The meat is juicy and I get a good value for my meal size. I only got a drink twice. Going again today. Yummy! I As a child being introduced to gyros downtown Atlanta, once I grew up I looked for a place that remotely came close to that childhood taste. The malls gyro was the close as I could come. This place is beyond the mall which explains why I rarely go for a Gyro at a mall...which is maybe 3 times in the last 5 years, and I have been here to Grecian Gyro at least 9 times since October 2014. Today will make my 10th time!!! <3

The foods ok, but I was disappointed they dont offer tzaziki. And dont even bother trying the baklava--its SO dry! The gyro and pork suvlaki were yummy. Spanakopita was ok. Their greek-style potatoes arent the traditional lemon ones you may expect--theyre just deep fried with a seasoning like Cavendars sprinkled on. Parking is atrocious when theres more than 10 people dining and seating is limited at this dinner. Also, you have to walk through the back kitchen where raw meat is being prepared to use their shoebox-sized bathroom. However, I might go again if I were in the area and DESPERATE for Greek cuisine.

Went for the first time and I asked for their best Gyro and they gave me something totally wrapped in aluminum foil. Right then I knew it wasnt a real Gyro. No lattice, no feta cheese, no banana peppers, no olives; just meat, onions, and t-sauce. This Greek restaurant is below average compared to the ones in the Midwest and Northeast. The only reason they are considered good down here is because southerns dont know real Greek food.

The gyros are so damn good!!! I always get a small cup of the sauce because thats delicious too. You can sit in & eat but theres not much space inside plus its usually a little crowded when I go in there but thats never stopped me. The food is worth the wait. Oh please dont place an order & not be around to hear them call your order/number out because it causes FRUSTRATION & CONFUSION for EVERYONE.

Grecian Gyro is somewhat of local favorite but I just dont see it. Every time Ive eaten here the restaurant is dirty, the service isnt great, parking is a nightmare, and I think the prices are ridiculous. I will say that the food is good (not great) but the negatives make this place a 3 star kinda place for me.

Its more like Greek fusion. Spanikopita was good. My gyro meat was soggy and had no flavor. Potatoes were tasty, no sauce needed. That sauce... I dont even know what it is, a ranch of some kind? Tasty, but not Greek, and definitely not what I was looking for in a Greek place.

This place sucked. Best Greek food in Georgia does not say much about Greek food in Georgia! The place is dirty, the white trash ladies working in there have completely checked-out, dont give a crap. $13 bucks for dry seal meat?! Give me a break!

Excellent food. Inside is a bit cramped. Best to call in an order and pick it up and dash home to eat. The gyros are wonderful, with creamy tzatziki. The potatoes are superb. Spanakopita is so flakey and delicious. Cannot recommend it enough!

Once a week go Greek!!! I love this place for lunch. A LOT of employees from the surrounding area come here to enjoy their food. Very delicious and fresh. The only thing is the limited amount of space for people and parking.

Great tasting chicken wrap and potatoes with that awesome sauce! Theyre just a little inconsistent with their ordering process. The question is can you call ahead or not? It depends on who takes your order I guess.

Always has great food! They fix it up fast and fresh. Outdoor seats available and covered. Not a lot of parking space, but most people seem to order to-go. So go around the block a space might open up.

Our food was hot and fresh. The atmosphere reminds me of a waffle house. It was hot inside. This place is small so that made the noise level loud. I would describe this place as a greasy spoon.

Love love love this place! Has the best gyro meat and the feta sauce on the potatoes is amazing! Great little spot to sit at when the weather is nice (for the small patio). This place is a gem!
