DO NOT GET COFFEE HERE!!!! I was accused of trying to "steal coffee" when their policy states that if you buy a cup in the morning at full price, then you can bring your same cup back that afternoon for a 50 cent refill. I did so today.... I got YELLED at by the owner of the company. He told me that this was the "3rd time ive tried to scam them". I was floored!! HE WAS THE ONE WHO SERVED ME COFFEE THIS MORNING!!!!!! He said he didnt recognize me. I said "well the only thing im not wearing now that I was this morning was a peacoat" and he said "whats a pea coat" and I said "its a freaking black jacket - you have GOT to be kidding me"! He did all this in front of customers too!! I was then asked by him if I would like to speak to the owner, and when I said yes he said "Im the owner, go home". Lastly, I was told "peace out, go home". (several times!) I KID YOU NOT!!!! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!!!! I will NEVER go there again, and whats more, ive got a LOT of friends in this area who wont either!!!

Great coffee in Gainesville! I live far away in Clarkesville... No good coffee shops near me. Thankfully, I make good coffee at home. But when I am looking for an espresso based drink... I head down to Inmans. Great pulls on the espresso machine. Nice crema. Fair prices. And like the others mentioned. This place is real artsy. Not fake artsy. It has a great vibe, that isnt mass produced... The baristas are all very nice. DONT FORGET TO TIP THEM. They make great drinks... Expressly for you. Its an art what they do. The people that frequent are all nice and well mannered. Its clean, friendly, warm and inviting. Its comfortable... For real. Love it. I knocked one star off, as I would love to have pour over/chemex coffee. And maybe the availability for a siphon once and awhile. but really thats just me being picky... ;-)

READ THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Always the best coffee in town and everything is fresh. I got a frappe and the employee mistakenly forgot to put something in due to the extreme traffic in the store, even though I had already paid and left outside the store, the employee stopped me and he made me another frappe for free because he said that I should get what I asked for with the money I spent. That is real, genuine service that you dont get anywhere really. Highly recommend this!! My favorite place to relax and enjoy some quality coffee. You cannot find a place like this anywhere else in town.

The feeling heres very cool. I really like the way the place is set up. I would definitely give it a higher rating but I had a very interesting experience with the Barista. I had asked for a small two shot cappuccino in a ceramic cup and when they called me to pick it up it was in a large cup 2 shot more like a latte. When I told her the mistake she said we can fix it and poured it from the big cup into a small cup and so there you go. Making a mess and getting coffee all over the outside of the small cup. I asked her if she would consider just making a new coffee and she reluctantly said yes.

Came here hoping to find a new coffee shop to frequent...liked the atmosphere and the coffee was decent...but I and my entire family were treated terribly...the old lady, who I am assuming was the owner/manager, treated me like the last thing she wanted to be doing was taking my order..she was very very rude and acted as though we were not welcome...even though we spent good money there...I will never return to this place and Im sure the workers could care less, since they act as though they do not want new customerss

Inman Perk is an awesome coffee house with a great atmosphere!! The people are true baristas and make some amazing drinks. They really care about the art of coffee. The owner is AWESOME despite what the crazy lady above says - hes super laid back and super-sweet. My whole family loves Inman Perk and whenever Im back home its where I get my soy chai latte...and the owner even puts a monkey face in the milk foam on top!!! (just ask - he can do faces and flowers - pretty freakin cool) WE LOVE INMAN PERK!!!!

I come to Inman perk everyday, but over the past few weeks it has become a struggle to want to even go. I have been charged so much extra for stuff I was never charged before, the staff will argue with me about what I want to drink and then they are not that friendly. The only time I actually enjoy being there is when Natasha works/ worked there. Its very frustrating, I love the drinks but please for the love of coffee God, get better staff, some that can keep up with how great Natasha is

Really great coffee! I buy whole beans from them as often as I can. Best Chai Latte Ive had. No one else really compares. The people that work there are always really great too. My only critique is that I like the atmposphere, but Inman could definitely use a little updating and freshening up. I have a friend who wont get coffee there just because of the decor and seating... Really great place! Been going there for years!

Sorry to say that I will NOT be coming back. Simply because the cashier did not give back change...who does that? Apparently this place. So if you want to overspend for a chai tea that isnt worth it and (German) chocolate ice cream; thats pretty much just chocolate cake with ice cream, and not get change back then this is the place for you. Ill take my money elsewhere.

My husband and I love Inman Perk. Weve been regular customers for about a year now. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, the store is clean and theres a great atmosphere. I appreciate the fact that the store displays artwork from local artists. I recommend Inman Perk to everyone I know. Ive never been disappointed with the coffee or service.

The most delicious cup of coffee ever and the people are super nice too! I am glad evil coffee-stealers are banned! They ruin business! Where else can you get cheap-o refills? Certainly not Starbucks! It is regretable that some people feel the need to take advantage of a nice Perk. Peace out, dude. Inman Perk rocks!

Ive only been here once, and wont come back. The staff was not friendly, the inside area was loud and dark. The outside area smelled of piss and was littered with old food particles. Gross! The latte itself was scorching hot, though it tasted good after 30 min when it was cool enough to drink.

Love going here to get ice cream and coffee until we recently went to get ice cream and saw a roach crawl into the ice cream bin while the barista was scooping our ice cream into cups. I swear she saw the roach and didnt say anything and kept scooping so we walked out.

I was kinda let down my last visit. It wasnt as good as the last time I been there. Their espresso machine was down and it didnt seem organized like the first time I went there. Also they should clean the lights but maybe next time.

Good atmosphere, good food and coffee, okay customer service. I think the makeup on our server was way over the top. Its okay to be different, but if your makeup makes me forget what I wanted to order, than you need to scale back.
