Went there this past Friday night and ordered the Steak and Arugula sandwich and a bowl of clam chowder. The sandwich was served on a plate that soaking wet and the bread was soggy and falling apart. There was only meat on half of the sandwich, the other half was just bread. The clam chowder was the worst that I have ever had. It was milk with a couple potatoes and clams floating in it. Literally, 4 spoonfuls of potatoes and clams in the entire bowl and it was luke warm at best. Campbell soup is better tasting and a lot more heartier. The other sandwich ordered, the Bacon Turkey Bravo want that bad but the meal was not worth $38.00. It appears that this is also a hang out for high school and college age clientele drinking coffee. The establishment is clean but I would expect that from a brand new store. I dont know how this got a 4 star rating if you read the reviews and numerous were submitted 9 months ago or older, before the store even existed.

I had placed a to-go order of bagels early one morning in June knowing that I would not pick them up until that afternoon. I asked for the bagels to be sliced and put in plastic bags to keep them fresh. I picked up my order, got home and nothing that I asked for was done! So, today, Tuesday, July 19th, I called in another bagel order that they have on special. I made it very clear what happened to me before and what I expected this time. It just so happens that I stopped for gas. I checked the bag of bagels. Not a damn one sliced or put in a bag. I went back to Panera, spoke to the manager and told him this was the second time. That he needed to look into his customer service. All he could say was sorry and I will have to figure it out. He didnt offer to pay for my purchase of $10 or give me a credit for the next time I came, if I do go back. What is happening to the customer service in our nation?

Nothing great to say about it; about $3 more then Atlanta bread co for about a similar meal (sandwich with drink and pastry) at a lower quality. Staff did not wear glove behind counter when fixing food and the did not give silver wear with meal or ask if I wanted any; can not forget the stale looking shriveled pickle either- wouldnt feed that to my dog.My sandwich was mushy, lumpy and fell apart. They didnt put my pastry on the plate/ they forgot and I had to ask specifically and 90% of the tables were dirty. Will not eat here again.

The Gainesville Panera Bread is a nasty, dirty place that is a bad value for the money. Go anywhere else. At 2pm the coffee was made at 10:30am. The staff was either surely or inattentive. There was not a clean place in the restaurant to walk or sit. Food residue and dirty napkins were literally everywhere I looked. The walls and blinds were even nasty. The sandwich was ok. But who cant make a ham & cheese! The black bean soup was out of the can. Three people, three sandwiches, $33. I wont be going back.

Great place for fresh bread with no preservatives. Why? Because when we were kids, bread used to go green or expire. Now, commercial breads last for weeks or even months in some weird kind of stasis where they never go bad. Read their labels. Should say flour, milk, yeast, eggs, etc. If I cant pronounce it, I dont need it in my food. Besides which, eating that other junk might just embalm me while Im still alive!

Food isnt good, and its expensive (??) The mac and cheese was so salty and the soup tastes like it comes out of a bag. 10 bucks for a sup-par cup of soup and a cup of macaroni? Are you freaking serious? Also word to the wise, stay far away from the won-ton soup. In fact, just dont go here. At least the staff was friendly... but Im not paying money to hang out with you, Im paying for good food.

The food use to be really good and was an appropriate amount for what is charged, not so the last couple of times I went. I had more bread than needed for the pitiful size of the sandwich and the salad went from being a full bowl to barely covering the bottom and I have never had pepper dusted all over my salad and sandwich. I definitely wont be back.

Wow. So impressed. I literally walked in 10 minutes ago, ordered my order for my and all my coworkers (7 people) to go, and Im not even kidding you by the time I was done pouring my single sweet tea they had my food ready 5 mins prior to me ordering. Im so impressed!!! Awesome service and they were very busy! So impressive

Its a great place to get school work, research, or studying done. I also like to come here for quiet group meetings or to sit and chat with a friend for hours. The service is kind and quiet. Food can be pricey for some. I also love how quick their rapid order is (using the app,) which I use once a week.

The place is alright. Food is pretty good but the atmosphere just isnt my cup of tea. I always feel like Im being judged when I walk in;as if Im not good enough to frequent the establishment. Ive been at this location about 3 times over the past year or so and each time I get that same feeling.

Pleasant. Food was good. ( I did not have to cook!) Musics could have been a little softer in theme. Background music without words would make it more relaxing. The young lady that took our order was very nice. A little pricey however. I could not afford to come here as much as I would like to.

Theres always something off about this Panera. One time I found an ant in my sandwich. Another time I found a long hair in my bread bowl. And yesterday when I sent my macaroni back because it had cold noodles, and they gave me another one with cold noodles.

Its a little to much but ok food. Sometimes the food is better then other days. I guess it depends on who is making the food that day. I will say I do love the soups they have. Over all its your standard Panera Bread

Clean, good decently healthy food. Im a big fan of their soups and salads. Sometimes it gets pretty busy here, lines can be a little long. I love the bread and pastries as well. Cinnamon crunch bagels ftw.

I came in for lunch on March 1st. You were extremely busy and short staffed. You have a young black guy who really handled himself well. He was calm, friendly and very efficient. I was impressed!

Busy place but good. Everything is available to order, for the most part, open to close. Great for business meetings, casual lunches, and everything in between. Slightly pricy.

My first two experiences were terrible, honestly. But Beth the manager was sure to make is right and and I left feeling alot better about Gainesville Panera Bread. Thats all.

A very cozy atmosphere. Good selection of soups and sandwiches. Good and interesting selection of sweets and pastries. Not a good selection of coffee. Also, be ready to pay.$
