This store is only about three years old and used to be the cleanest and best service of all of the Waffle Houses Ive been to. It has gone way down in cleanliness and service. It appears that there is no manager working. Most of the employees act ghetto and as if they are dazed. Last week I was in there, and it was the dirtiest Ive ever seen it and one employee has his pants hanging down in his swag style . Two employees were sitting down talking while the tables and floors were filthy. Tonight on the way there I told my wife that if it had not improved I would contact you to try to inform you of the desperate need of attention. We sat down to a dirty table with a wet cloth laying on a dirty table while the waitress was sitting down. I cleaned the table then folded the cloth and dried it with a napkin. Mr Bryce Jackson, who was also the cook, came to my table and apologized and took care of our drinks and got our utensils. He was neat and very professional. From that point on the food and the service improved. I mention these things because Ive seen this store go down and hope to see it restored to the level of quality it had before. I have been a regular Waffle House patron for years in many states. One of the best stores is Athens, Tn. The worst was probably Dublin, Ga.

On December 31, 2013 around 9-930pm, I stopped in this Waffle House and was extremely disgusted with the appearance. EVERYTHING WAS FILTHY!!!! ALL tables, counters, cook area. and floors were unbelievable. No one even tried to take my order upon my arrival even though there were at least 10 employees there. There was a manager and three ladies in the office dancing, at least 6-7 employees on the front line hanging out kidding and joking around. There was not a clean table or counter space to sit and eat. Finally a young man named Michael came over and cleared a spot at the counter and took my order and he was very pleasant. I placed an order so I could send it to the Department of Health and make a report with the Better Business Bureau. The bacon was not even close to being done and the Texas steak was loaded with pepper that I did not request. One lady finally started clearing tables but only put all the dirty dishes in front me at the counter as if was responsible for washing them. The manager came out and was just as playful as the others. My think this place should be shut down, and thoroughly sterilized, sanitized and inspected by the Health Department before reopening. My God honest rating is a ZERO!

I came in the door and no one acknowledged me. Then, I stood in line to place a togo order and the lady took the customers order in front of me. Then she proceeded to fill the knives, forks, spoons holders, the guy who was the cook was sweeping the floor, another woman refilling ketchup. With a loine of customers. Then when we got this one girls attention she was going to take my order, but asked me to stand aside so she could cash the guy behind me out. I had been standing there since he was still eating at his table. I walked out. That was my first and last visit.

I went in an no one acknowledged us. Everyone in there had a slumped vibe. We go there often and every one is usually friendly. Today the broad had a nasty attitude. I always leave a tip for every one. But she gets nothing. I mean nothing. Go back home and and start over. How is it ok to be texting on your cell phone and not being attentive to your customers. Seriously!

I placed an order through the phone not even 10 minutes ago. I ordered 8 identical orders, then the lady said "Your gonna have to give me 10$ in tips". Whos gonna give you 10$ in tips now, like if i wasnt going to tip her good it being a fairly large order. This needs to be addressed, this is petty UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL.

Friendly greeting as soon as I opened the door, server treated me well, she didnt act like I was bothering her, she was able to understand and complete my order as well as get it to me while it was still hot. I have been going to this waffle house for 2yrs or so now and only had my food messed up once....

Horrible store was so nasty !!!! All the table were nasty and the young server on the 9 pm shift was so rude he needs to be fired . We sat at the counter over 20 min with no one saying anything.and you wonder why young people dont have jobs because they dont Care!!!!!!!!!!

I just went there wit my family and was basically ignored by the staff ekxcept for one person. I ordered The All-Star and the waffle was burned, the bacon was so crispy that you puck it up and it crumbles, and the toast was 7 minutes late.

Its waffle house...cant ask for much. As long as they have cheese eggs, hash browns (smothered & covered), waffles, coffee & hot water (for silverware), then they are doing what they are supposed to.
