Best chain burger! Is Shake Shack a chain? Maybee but the long standing rival for this east coast chain is In-N-Out Burger. So curious which ranked supreme I had lunch at In-N-Out (animal style burger) in SF then took a flight to DC to try Five Guys. Better patty, better meat, better bun. Try your burger with American cheese & grilled onions. Other chains dont hold a candle.

Peanut shells all over the floor, the smell of heavy grease, and a list of toppings two pages long. That would be Five Guys. I discovered this as just a nice place to hitup for a mound of grease and toppings. For what it is, I love it but at the same time, its not really the place to go if you wanna cut back the pounds. Cajun fries are pretty good stuff.

Keep it simple and do it well is the motto here. Five Guys demonstrates burgers and fries done right. A "little" burger is simply one 80/20 ground chuck patty, and a "regular" burger is two. The bun and toppings remain the same. Fries are freshly cut on site and cooked in 100% peanut oil. Large fries easily feed 2-3 people. Try them with malt vinegar.

Nobody makes these things at home anymore--hand formed burgers, topped with fresh American style condiments, and fries so good that youll finish them first. Its not everyday food if you want to stay healthy but its no worse than lots out there at the same price point. Stick with the little burger for reduced guilt.

Nothing against this particular 5 guys. I dont care for the food from the organization at all. Its over priced for what you get $15 for fries, burger and a soda, meh. I can go to a better burger joint and pay the same for a wider variety of options and significantly less grease.

This place offers countless ways to customize your burger, whether you like it simple or complicated. The drink machine also allows dozens of flavor combinations. Just remember to get some free peanuts to compensate for higher prices. Also, this location has shakes! Yum!

Definitely worth the few extra dollars compared to normal fast food. The burgers are huge, and you can put pretty much anything on it. They always give you a ton of fries, even with the small order. I highly recommend getting Cajun seasoning on the fries.

Messy backyard-style burgers are the best in the business. People who order burgers plain wont get the hype. French fry portions are very splittable; I have to send a rescue squad to find my burger under the mountain of delicious, hand-cut Cajun fries.

I go here every Wednesday night with my dad, theyve got great food, great music, great employees and great peanuts! Very high quality service, never have I gotten an order wrong. This is making me very hungry just thinking about it!

Cajun fries, decent burgers - you know you can find both anywhere you see the red lettering. I would still try to find a craft burger, but for the money and assurance of being better than any mcd/bk/wendy burger, its a sure bet!

I can always count on five guys to make a rockin burger. The staff was super friendly too even though I was coming 15 minuets before they closed. It can be pricy but youll never leave this with an empty stomach.
