Have lived nearby for 30 years but never eaten here due to skanky liquor store next door. My mistake! Pretty good food and friendly service. This is an archetypal neighborhood bar/grill where the waiters know customers by name and the food is pretty good. Atmosphere = dive but it is very big with about 8 large TVs and an outdoor deck in back. Would be good for groups. I really liked my Shrimp Curry dish - it wasnt bland - the curry was spicy the way it should be. The shrimp was good quality and cooked properly (ie; not overcooked) My partners Angus hamburger was delicious but the onion rings were mediocre. Their fries are very good. Pretty decent beer selection including on-tap beer. Service is "relaxed" but friendly. For this neighborhood this place is way above average! We will return.

I used to live right around the corner from this place. Living downtown now, one would think one thing I would have over Clarkston would be proximity to good restaurants, but I cant say that there is any place in downtown Atlanta that quite fills the shoes of neighborhood bar and restaurant as well as BPH does. Hell, the staff still remember me, and I havent lived in the neighborhood since 2012. They have a great selection of unique beers, and liqueurs, everything is very reasonably priced, and excellent, especialy when you take into account that, as you are dining at a bar, you are thus eating bar food. If you have been driving by the place for years but have never stopped in, you have really been doing yourself a disservice. Try it out, I doubt you will regret it

We love Brockett Pub. We eat there once or twice a month. Everything is really good, we havent had a bad dish yet. It gets crowded and busy on weekend nights but the food and drink quality doesnt drop, everything still comes out hot and good. The wait staff is fantastic. I once ordered something that had an ingriedent I really dont like on it. I was more than happy to pay for it and just order something else. It was 100% my fault for not reading the description well enough. They went back and brought me a different meal just to be nice. Their specials are usually very good. Our favorite dishes are the Brussel sprouts, Brockett Pub fries, burgers, shrimp and grits and any dessert.

Just ate here for the first time, were from out of town. The food is great, the spicy chicken sandwich was impressive and my wife had the southwest chicken salad that she loved. What impressed me most was how busy they were when we first walked in (they said theyre usually not THAT busy) and how well their staff handled the rush hour. They worked well together and were fast and effective and when a customer or coworker needed help someone would quickly jump in with a smile. We sat at the front end of the bar in front of the food window from the kitchen so we got to see a lot action and they did great. Overall great food and great staff, and its hard to mess up a cold beer.

Always great as my neighborhood place. Not everybody knows your name, but the proprietors and wait staff do, and greet you by it when you sit down. My favorites are the wings (big and juicy) and the Bleu cheese and Bacon burger. Oh yeah, the fries are unusually good, and dont forget the appetizer of apple chunks in brussel sprouts (I would never eat brussel sprouts before these - theyre great!) Get there in a weeknight if you can...its a two-cook kitchen; however not a bad place to hang out visiting during a Friday night wait for your meal. Youll always meet someone new!

This place is great. Good craft beer on tap. I had Sierra Nevada Hoptimum, which was amazing. Also, the food is great. They make their own corned beef and dressing for the rubin. Much of their food is made from scratch. The decor is a dated bar feel, with slanted wood paneling on the walls, but looks are deciving. This place serves up food and beer as good as the best places in Decatur or Midtown/Buckhead. The service is friendly and they know many of their customers by name. They made sure they learned mine by the time I left.

I go to the Brockett Pub every week and have NEVER had a bad meal and I have gone for 9 years! Creative and consistent bar food that is always fresh, tasty and hot!! They never skimp on portions either. Love to try the different craft beers on tap - they change them out to give a variety for every taste. The staff is wonderful and remembers your name and "likes". Comfortable atmosphere. Go and visit - you will be pleasantly surprised! John & Red know how to run a QUALITY restaurant!!

This is our favorite restaurant in the area! We go all the time and have never had a bad experience. The food is excellent, the service is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is exactly what we love. Its not fancy, but it has that comfortable, friendly, hometown bar feel. It can get a bit crowded at times, but we always find a table and always have great service. Plus, they give back to the community and seem to genuinely care about their customers. Try it - you wont regret it!

Brockett Pub is a treasured gem in the hood. Take the faithful customers word and check it out. This pub has grown in service and in size over the years. Monthly food & drink specials, clean, fun, and comfortable getaway spot in the hood. The wings are extremely big n tasty and the california wraps will strike a satisfying nerves every time! Mmmm....BPH. Its worth the walk or drive.

Local pub / bar style place. Not much too look at. But the food is very good and varied. Apparently there is a chef who runs the kitchen and comes up with new and different dishes. The staff is very friendly weve been often enough that several know us and come over to chat. Pretty much a good solid neighborhood bar with better food beyond the standard fried bar food staples.

My home away from home. I love the staff, and the regulars. Its the Cheers of Clarkston. The food is outstanding, and the menu has something for everyone. The beer selection is great too, especially if you love the IPAs. There is plenty of parking, and it is conveniently located. The service is excellent, consistant, and very friendly. Give this place a try!!!

Driving by you wouldnt think much of the Brockett, but looks are deceiving! Ill be honest, Im totally addicted to the wings...dont let the Reuben get away from you though, its one of the best Ive found, and Ive looked a lot of places. If you are looking for a good app, the shrimp tacos cant be beat! Great beer selection with a lot of rotating variety.

The food: exceptionally good. The service: they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and happy! You can feel when an establishment actually cares about their customers and it was truly felt here. The atmosphere: laid back and cozy. Well definitely be back! P.S. Theres also a pool table here and outdoor seating.

We tried this place out because of the reviews and it was worth it! The food and drinks were excellent. We had the cheese fries for an app and they were great. I had the parmesan chicken quesadillas and he had the cuban burger. We were completely surprised and satisfied. Definitely would go again!
