I order many cakes, both for personal and business purposes from Publix. Its when I ordered one for a couples baby shower that I had the issue. We were in the middle of the shower, and had the cake in the box so that the couple could not see it. On the outer band (could not see unless it was removed from the box completely) of the cake it was supposed to say "Congratulations Heather, Shaun (the couple) & James (brother)". When we took the cake from the box, it said "Congratulations "Heather, Sharon, & James". I called the store. They offered a remake, but we were in the middle of the shower. We could not have the guests to wait for cake! So the store offered a refund. When I went to collect the refund, the bakery manager refused the refund, and instead offered me a $10.00 credit towards an almost $60.00 cake that I was picking up. That almost $60.00 cake may well be the last cake that I order for my family or business. Yes, the taste is good, but clearly on the instructions, it is written Shaun, not Sharon, so they cant follow instructions, nor follow up with promised refunds for their mistakes. Ill be purchasing birthday cakes this week (two family birthdays).......likely not from Publix. With another birthday next week, two more next month, two in December, youd think Publix would want to make this right!

The employees at Publix are the best at making sure you find everything you need and they will go out of their way to help you and always with a smile and William In the meat department was very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us samples of the salmon and it was so good that we bought some. Also the cashiers and front end people were very nice and they always are friendly and say thank you for shopping with us. We shop nowhere but Publix.

Always clean. The staff is Always helpful and smiling. They literally saved me one night....I had to go to publix after searching for medjool dates at Kroger for an hour because I needed them for a recipe. At Kroger, No one knew where or what they were, nor did the staff even bother to help. BUT PUBLIX staff knew immediately what I was talking about and even walked me straight to the dates. Ive been shopping there since. Thanks Publix!

The store and staff are great....Just dont go to the deli department....If you want a sandwich your fine...But if you want cooked items, there is the problem...The lady said 15 min...fine...Why did it take 40 min ??? And one of them was raw !!! No sorry or anything...Not all the deli staff...But regulars are rude or ignore you....I love the store, but no more raw chicken for me.

Just moved to Douglasville and ran out for subs and tea and was overwhelmingly pleased with the experience. Tiffany in the deli was fast, friendly, and efficient. Best pub sub experience Ive had in the last 10 years!

Employees are always attentive and helpful! The store is always well stocked and clean! While the prices tend to be higher than other grocery stores... coupons, sales and BOGOs allow me to get some good deals.
