I had my mouth watered and ready for some Good Ole Southern Soul food since Im far from home. Ordered Ribs, Mac & Cheese, And Yams!! Illll be Goooot damn. Lets start with the boil noodles and dollar general box cheese (Macaroni). I almost threw it at my dog but then I realize he wouldnt even eat it and I would have to clean it up. Secondly the YAMS!! I dont know who was late for work today and half boil them potatoes and then threw them in a pot with the ones from yesterday. You almost cost me a tooth! The Ribs were good....But I think it was just that watered BBQ sauce that she drowned them with. Theeen finally after waiting 15mins of horrible service ( No type of greeting) I ask the cashier do they have koolaid juice? This rude mixed Hispanic looking female replies " What? Koolaid? Thats disrespectful we only got Tea and Lemonade!!!" Im so confused at this point. Lemon-Ade Kool-Aid? Im still looking for the disrespect! So I ordered Tea? ...it was so funny tasting I had to ask was it Chinese tea. But only to find out it was spoil. FYI YOU CANT KEEP ICEA TEA IN COLD TEMPETURES IN A METAL CONTAINER‼️‼️‼️‼️ WORST FOOD IN GEORGIA‼️‼️

Dear Spirit of God, I wish to thank you for whoever opened the doors of Hodges to prepare home cooked soul food at its best. Bless you O Lord that their children and childrens children are keeping Hodges doors open with an amazing body of people that can truly cook, grill and bake. There are a few people I would like to recognize that go above and beyond to help me when I come with my Big Orders: Mrs. Parker, Mrs. Joyce and Mookie. Really the entire staff are a "Band of Angels" that can get down with some Awesome Cooking. The oxtails got it going on to the break of dawn and the BBQ as well. God, Bess Mr. James for being such a caring hearted man toward his staff and the customers. Peace and Amen

My friend girl and myself stopped here last Sunday 7/30/17 after church, ugh. The cashier had a bad attitude, face all frowned up, her demeanor was bery bothersome. The two servers on the pther hand was very pleasant, smiling faces, just great customer service. What one expects from anyone serving them food. Now as for the food; tuh, Can good food taste better than this slop they serving. Fried chicken unseasoned, squash(not an ounce of salt), dressing NOT sorry azz salty stuffing, yams greasy not sweet and taste like chicken grease in them. Gawd never, ever again

If I could give the place less than 1 star I would. People please dont be fooled by the smell of BBQ coming from a grill. Hodges is filthy!!! I order and one of my wifes sides was mac n cheese. I roach was cooked inside the mac n cheese. I disgusting does a place have to be in order to have a roach cook inside the food. I wish I would have taken a pic before I took the food back to them. I know even after reading this many will still eat there. You been warned!!!

Absolutely hated it .. the rice was horrible with the worst taste ever , the tea was horrible and sour . The worst food ive tasted ever in Georgia and im am not exaggerating. worst 10.75 in my life . and my side of mac had no seasoning at all like wow . meat loaf was black and dry . old and disgusting! ugh

Stopped by Hodges due to a friend of mine. He never been and wanted to experience something new with me. Well this new experience was beautiful. The meat was tender for my beef stew. He had ribs and chicken and it was amazing. The sides were amazing and we will be back for more. Trying the oxtails next.

Im from Detroit and had a taste for some BBQ (first BBQ place I e tried since moving to GA) and Im so glad I stopped here! I absolutely loved it! The BBQ Chicken and Ribs with mac and cheese and yams were delicious!! Will definitely be going back!

Didnt really have that much of a selection according to the menu displays, corn muffin was burned, food barely no seasoning and food portions was small didnt have no mac & cheese thats the whole purpose of southern food! But very affordable!

Please dont waste your time or money. Worst place EVER..Ribs not all the way done, vegetables are loaded with old grease and lets not mention the tea(sour) PLEASE KEEP DRIVING UNLESS U want to be sick in tge bed the remainder of ur day.

Ate here a day before Thanksgiving, My wife and I loved the Staff right away very inviting FAMILY style Mom and Pops feeling. The food was fight over the last piece Good and cant wait to get back....only 15-20 min from Downtown.

Food taste was good..some items on menu(pork chop) not available nor was. cornbread ready. It was "cooking" did not offer any other choice for bread.mac and cheese was scrapped from pan and was dry and hard.I will go. back

Great ribs and veggies. And AWESOME mac and cheese!!!! I get the ribs every time but they also have chicken, pulled pork, oxtails, etc.... So good that the ribs go quick. Get there early or they may run out.

The food was absolutely amazing. Dont tell I said so, but better then my grandmas. Definatly go for the Mac and Cheese. Only issue I had was the tea tasted like sour milk.
