We visited tonight because we remembered from our first visit how good the pizza was. Well, we didnt get to enjoy that experience again. When we arrived it was very busy. The hostess took my name, but didnt tell me how long the wait would be. After about 10 minutes we noticed there were tables available outside. We asked the hostess of we could sit our there. She informed us that the table in the back was reserved and offered us the table directly next to the open fire pit. We declined since, at this point I had a very anxious toddler, who was eager to put his hands in the flames. So, we waited longer inside. I watched two families leave and one walk in and sit down immediately. The hostess never made eye contact with us. I noticed that she sat the family at a high top, which would have been hard for a family with a high chair. However, it was rude of her to not consult us first about the table. Meanwhile, there was another four top table directly in front of us the whole time that was "reserved". She coed have tried to show interest in her customers by offering to switch the reserved table with the high top (same goes for the tables outside). No courtesy. We left and ate at Sals. Please train your employees better!

I ordered a Greek salad this evening and the salad came out with wilted brown pieces in it. I asked for a new salad, and the "OWNER" came out and was extremely rude!!!! She insisted on defending the freshness of the salad and how it comes from the farmers market "3 times" a day. When I showed her the brown pieces she rudely insisted that I was looking at what happens to a salad in "transit". It was ridiculous!!! She then would not give us a whole new salad, but offered side salads because we took a bite of the larger one!!! I was shocked to realize this was an owner dealing with her customers in this way! WOW one of the owners acting like this! GOOD FOOD can never outweigh bad service. Suggestion: When a customer feels that something is not fresh, but you think its fresh dont try to defend your position. I am coming to your establishment, you are not coming to mine. Softly, with a smile apologize that the salad was not made to the customers liking and then offer them something different. This makes a little sense to me. It is the type of service that says I care about your opinion even though I may disagree with it. Positive comments: the other food we ordered was good, but the service was offensive..

Let me preface this review by saying that I have been a customer of pizza shack since they opened their doors. I love the staff and the place. Very convenient, good staff, fun atmosphere. Pizza is quite good. Their white pie is one of the best in Georgia. Their plain is an 8. So where does the 1 star come from? The price. Recently Pizza Shack changed their menu and has decided that they can charge Manhattan prices for pizza when they are in fact they in dallas ga. $18 for a large cheese and $25 for a specialty pie? Have they lost their minds? Grimaldis (arguably the best pizza in nyc, coal oven, located under the brooklyn bridge) charges $16 for a large cheese. Im not sure why they feel they can charge exuberant prices for pizza. Note to pizza shack, I can get a far superior buffalo chicken pie for $7 less and a slightly worse cheese for $6 less right down the road at sals....... I think ill be saving my money and going with the place that isnt committing highway robbery on their prices.

My experience was horrible. I ordered a 10 Italian sausage pizza. When it came out it was a cheese pizza so the waitress took it back. My son ordered boneless Bar-B-Q wings that came with potato tots. Bar-B-Q wings was over cooked to the point they tasted burnt, and the tots was cold. Meanwhile the pizza comes back burnt all around the edges like they put the Italian sausage on top of the previous cheese pizza and cooked it again and burnt it. The waitress had no compassion at all. She didnt ask was the food better? In addition I ordered a glass of wine. Wine glass had lipstick all around the rim of the glass. I will not recommend this place to my friends or family.

In response to Brians review: The Pizza Shack uses only high quality, fresh ingredients. Rather than compromise quality, the prices were increased to meet the cost of product. We are committed to a quality product. The prices you stated are also incorrect. A Large Cheese pizza is : $16.99 A large Meat Lover, Greek, Veggie Grazer, BBQ, CBR, Buffalo and even the White Pizza are: 18.99 A Everything but the Kitchen Sink is: $24.99 Sals Buffalo Chicken pizza is $17.95, the Pizza Shack Buffalo Chicken Pizza is $18.99 If youre in the area stop in!! If youre not nearby, were worth the drive! Ask for Josh or Celia, a stranger is only a friend we havent met!

Called tonight to order some food. the hotel who answered the phone said there were no specials so i just ordered a pizza. After waiting an hour I call back wondering where my pizza is an fund out on the recording that there are specials. When I asked the girl again she said about the specials she was rude. She said the recording was live music. Think Ill call tomorrow and speak to a manager. The food is excellent! ! Wish the customer service on the phone was just as good.

I have been here twice and have had the pizza rolls both times. The first two times they rolls were formed like a perfect cinnamon roll with layers of pepperoni and mushroom. Well....the third time the rolls were horrible! They were more like a cup filled with way too much mozzarella. I literally GAGGED on the mozzarella. The rolls still had that great taste that makes your taste buds dance, but consistency is key. Especially sine we drove 30 miles only to eat lunch at PS.

The food was amazing and not necessarily overpriced but EVERYTHING is an up charge, ordered my food and drink at the same time, waited 30 mins for a drink and another 30 for food... And they were pretty much dead, and were definitely over staffed as there was a few employees sitting at a table laughing the entire time I was there. Over all the food absolutlry my made up for it, BUT the employees definitely could be trained better..

This is the best pizza place in the world in my opinion. The garlic knots are to die for, as well as the pepperoni. The price felt perfect for the high quality foods. I also love their chicken wings. I found that the service was outstanding and loved every minute of the amazing atmosphere. I would recommend The Pizza Shack to anyone who wants to enjoy high quality food and service in a great atmosphere.

We have a hard to make happy large family. We ordered wings, pizza, and gluten free pizza and not only was it amazing but the we had delivered were crispy NOT soggy and still warm. The cheese taste fresh just like what I would expect from a pizzeria in NYC or Jersey. We are ordering again tonight for dinner. Shack you won our hearts.

Cant give more then three stars bc the food is great, but the service keeps getting worse. This past time the waitress took our drink and food order and after waiting 15 minutes for drinks we had to get up and go order drinks from the bar, bc she never brought them. Other then that the food is amazing.
