This was our first time. I took my wife and three teens today. The food was fine to good. The restaurant was hot - the air conditioning must have either been very low set, or was broken. I ask my server if the air was broke, she looked at me and walked away. I was stunned at her apparent rudeness, but I extended her the benefit of the doubt - maybe she did not speak English well or maybe she did not hear me. During our visit, I noticed the server was continuously rude, not just to my family, but to other customers as well. As were were preparing finish up and leave, a man and his wife came in with their two children - one child was small enough to require a high chair. The mother asked our server if she would bring her a high chair, the waitress walked over about 6 ft from that table and pulled a high chair over WITH HER EYES ROLLING! I could not believe the boldness of her rudeness. As I was paying my bill, I told the woman taking the money that this was our first time, and was curious if this was a family owned business or if it was not - she rolled her eyes, and said, "THE OWNER OWNS IT, ITS NOT FAMILY BUSINESS". I was actually speechless. My family eats out no less than twice per week and often times more, but we will never visit this place again - MY MONEY DOES NOT BELONG IN A BUSINESS THAT DOES NOT APPRECIATE IT!

First off, this restaurant in the past was very good. They were realtivley clean and had okay service. But after visiting it again recently, THIS PLACE IS GROSS. FLAT OUT GROSS. When you first walk in there was food on the floor. After being seated we noticed that the blinds on the window were heavily scratched and looked down right aweful. We were then greeted by our "waitress" who was very pregnant and acted like she did not want to be there at all. After, going up to the buffet and looking at the scarce amount of food avabile , we stettled on a few things and sat back down. When we finished our food we went back for seconds only to notice the nasty water that was under the food trays on the buffet, as one of the "chefs" was pouring more warm water into if.IT WAS DISCUSTING. Then to top all off as if our appetites were not already spoiled, we saw a huge glob of old melted ice cream on top of the ice cream freezer that had been sitting there for quite sometime, and ignored by many of the workers. If I could I would give this place ZERO STARS. It should be condemened.

My family and I love 88 Buffett. They have a wide selection of food. If your child doesnt like Asian food there is many American choices. People say that the servers are rude but they are from a different culture so they do things different. Ive never felt as though they were being rude. My husband used to work at an Asian resturant and they are just really quiet and stay to themselves. Especially since English isnt their first language. They only thing I think they may nedd to work on is getting refills. But other than that we have always had a great experience!

My wife and I ate there May 12, 2017. We agreed on everything said in this review of this Chinese-style buffet. The water, ice cream, sautéed mushrooms, and $price$ are very good. The cold and hot boiled shrimp and cocktail sauce good as well. The staff is attentive and pleasant. We cannot attest to the hibachi grill and sushi which was not tried, however, everything else not previously mentioned was only fair at best, and for that reason it is highly unlikely that we will return.

88 buffet wouldnt be bad if they would get rid of the rude waitresses. Every time we go there myself and my friends always get a rude waitress we are nice and happy to go there but now we like going to Greatwall and i dont know what they cook their food with but my stomach hurt and feels weird after eating there and i dont really eat a lot but at least now i know why they call it 88 buffet because after eating there you go to the bathroom 88 times afterwards

I love it there. The food is great and they actually have sushi there. I love sushi a lot so thats one of the reasons I go there when I can. Great customer service. Ive seen other reviews on here about "the food is too cold because they turned down the steam cookers" and I believe they should stop being so damn picky. Its good quality food made by good quality people.

I had a bad experience here on my first and only visit, most of the food must have been sitting out for a while because it was cold when it should have been hot, and after I told someone he told me the food was always fresh,,well I honestly think the only reason people keep going back to this place is because the food is cheap.

We went here last night. Great food, Clean,and very good service. It was myself, my husband, my 16 yr old and my 6 yr old. We really like this place. We will return again it. The cost was very good... it was only 40.44 for all of us plus tip... way better then Golden Carroll and better on the wallet...

Will never go here again. The buffet didnt have much, food was cold, staff wasnt very helpful. The only reason they didnt receive 1 star is because the hibachi tasted good, although it took forever for someone to wait on me. Great Wall, or Sub N Roll are much better options.

My family loves it. My son is 3 and love the variety of fruit chicken macaroni and desserts not to mention the ice cream. I love the Hibachi grill and egg drop soup and my husband loves the variety of chicken. Best thing there is peppered potatoes and there rice.

I dont like the customer service from my refills of my soda . however I give this 88 buffet 2 thumbs up . the food is fresh delicious susi is tasty and all the buffet foods always have flavor and well cooked . I like the look of the place very nice :)

The food is cold , old and not of a reasonable quality, I also had the unpleasant experience of listening to a server cough and hack up mucus while pouring my tea. I was so sickened by this I couldnt finish my meal. I will not be returning.

My family and I truly do enjoy the food at this Chinese restaurant. It has a nice Hibachi Grill that is included with your buffet. Staff are very friendly and always attentive to your requests. Highly recommend.

Though the staff is soft spoken, they are attentive and polite. The food, including the hibachi and sushi, is amazing and the selection is phenomenal! The one downside is that its a little expensive.

A Chinese style restaurant, with Chinese servers. My friend takes me here cuz I love seafood. They have wonderful sushi, shrimp, meats, and desserts. Very nice with a new owner. Hen hao chi!

At first 88 Buffet was not all that bad, but they have let the place get run down .. Carpet in dinning room is so Disgusting and food is not as good so hope the can get it back into shap
