We frequently eat at the Buford, GA store. Up until the last 2 visits we always had a good meal for a fair price. The last 2 visits we have been very disappointed. The front porch and parking lot were dirty. On the porch alone was a plastic glove, a plastic bag, a cup someone left and various other pieces of trash. Once inside they had 1 cashier. There were 4 or 5 families in front of us but we waited in line for over 10 minutes. The food on the hot food bar needing replenishing or replacing. I like the breakfast items for dinner but both of out last visits the grits appeared to has been sitting there all day. There were no eggs or pancakes tonight either. We had to wait another 10 or 15 minutes for the food to be replenished. The grits were not replaced either night while we were there. The prime rib was over cooked tonight and the time before they only had a small piece that was very unappetizing. Again while we were there it was not replenished. Our server tonight, Gabriela, was wonderful. She did an excellent job. The last time we were there we hardly saw our server. We refilled our own tea glasses with pictures the server in the next section left on an empty table. I am afraid Golden Corral in Buford is loosing our business. We will find somewhere else to eat for a while. Maybe we will give them another chance in a few months but it wont be anytime soon.

The one star is for the food being great but because of how my husband and I was treated by our server that day we will NEVER and I do mean never eat at this location again!!! She sign our ticket but never properly introduced herself with a courtesy card with her name on it, she ask everyone in our area if they were OK kept their drinks coming and their tables cleared but acted as if we was invisible!!! When we asked for the manager thats when she decided to clear our table and ask if we wanted some more drinks!!! When the manager came over to our table and admitted to something that she didnt do he apologized about it!!! I would just like to say to all waiters no matter where you work... Never judge a customer by their color and feel that they cant afford to leave a tip and therefore you dont wait on their table!!! To the mysterious waitress with no name.... You missed out on a HUGE tip on 7/15/17.

Because everything was fresh and good and a lot I would rather have directed this privately, but didnt see a means to do so. Was just exceptionally busy, part of the fun. I got broiled fish and looked gray, thought perhaps a little under cooked due to demand. By end of time there, I didnt feel well, but thought just tired. I ended up being extremely ill for about 18 hours. Very sharp stomach pains and from there just proceeded through entire system. Id still go back, but will examine foods completed appearance and never assume it is done because it is served. Food is a gift not all have on earth. Ive always eaten everything I took. But I personally dont believe food we consume is only good as fast as one can gulp it down. Another human being has spent part of their life preparing, serving, and likely glad others are enriched. Life is fast and short. Relax and "taste it".

I was pleasantly surprised during my last visit to this establishment. I have patronized this Golden Corral before and had been disappointed on both the food and service, but my recent visit was something else. My sister and I went last Sunday for her birthday breakfast. The quality of the food was superb and the servers were attentive but not rushed. I had the grilled steak with eggs, and it was cooked to perfection- one of the better steaks Ive had in a while. The hash browns were crispy, the coffee was hot and plenty, and everything appeared fresh. I want to thank two staff members in particular who made my experience superb: Jeremy and Gris. Jeremy was at the grill (fantastic medium well!) and Gris was our server, super friendly and attentive. Im not sure if they have new management or better training, but thank you for the experience- it was great.

GUESS DOES NOT APPRECIATE BEING HARRASSED BY BEGGERS! First, I have plenty of veterans in my family, so I know how tough their struggles are. That being said, I DO NOT appreciate when I take my wife out for dinner, Golden Corral have these people setup in the place asking for charity. They are rude and think you should just empty all what is in your pocket to them. This is very tacky, my wife and I always help ALL charities BUT at our will! This is not the way to get support for their cause. My wife felt so guilty for nothing, and THIS ISNT ACCEPTABLE. We WILL NOT BE GOING TO THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN! Its obvious that the district/area so-called manager allows this because ALL the Golden Corrals in the Atlanta area is setup this shameful way.

It was nasty. This was my first time in years going to a Golden Corral, and I honestly couldnt remember why I didnt go there. Yeah, I had a nice reminder. /sarcasm. The best thing they had was the yeast rolls, and they were barely passable. We tried chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots, Mac, and several other things. We even tried dessert. We felt full leaving (better have, considering the price of just short of $24 for two), but not satisfied with what we had eaten. We took so many bites of things just to decide they were gross that thats the only way we ate, actually. Even the cake was bad. Who cant make a good cake?! Anyway, Im super unhappy with that waste of money. If you like real food and not crap, dont go here.

The Waitress there is Racist. Thats my only reasoning i could come up. I sat down and watched her greet everyone in the section and she never greeted me, didnt refill my drink. It was like she pretended as if I wasnt there. Whats worse is she goes to the table next to me and politiltely asks if they need more coffee. All the while never acknowledging me for a second. I was floored by how disrespectful it was. I just got up and left after about 30 mins. Check the tape if you dont believe. I was 7/5/17 at 9:30am in the very first section. Please hire someone that isnt racist and disrespectful. If you dont like me cuz im Black at least try to fake it until I leave

as always golden corral serves good food and provides excellent southern choices but one day i went with my family and got mashed potatoes . but what i found is quite unappitizing a mysterious black piece of somethig wandering around it . another thing also disgusting was the dirty spoon i came across which was really gross. BUT dont even get me started on the prices . for just two adults and one child the grand total was $43.50!!!!! never going there again -

Pretty much the same as all Golden Corrals. All you can eat, drink refills and coffee. This location has been pretty consistent with quality food and decent staff. The salad bar item seemed to be frozen quite a bit ( cucumbers, tomatoes, eggs, dressing, and so on.....Hot bar items are usually fresh because the place stays busy. The desert bar and chocolate fountain...and lets not forget the cotton candy are favorites for the kids....
