I love this place. The kind of place where you feel like a regular. The breakfast specials are incredible and very affordable. The dinner specials are awesome, and they usually have a home made desert. The owners "Old World" style of cooking assures I always get a large portion of homemade fresh food and usually I finish it all. The owners come out routinely, if they arent busy cooking, and greet the quest. I go to Sunrise Family Dinner more than all the Other restaurants in Howell combined. I love the food the staff and that hometown local feel of Sunrise Family Dinner. Thats why they are the first place on the list when its time to go out for food!

On a better & MUCH positive note.... she ( my client) wanted to try lunch out again today...she picked the SUNRISE FAMILY DINER, also in Howell. SO much better....no waiting for a table, with a quite busy place. Nice staff. The waitresses are fantastic, friendly & know their job. The owner came out to make sure everything was ok...They all work together....More food than necessary for your dollar.....All fresh...All cooked perfectly. We will ABSOLUTELY return there!!!! TRY them out if you havent!!

My first time coming to sunrise, my group of friends and i tried to leave because they were so busy. The host convenienced us to stay. Boy oh boy was that the right choice! This place has amazing food for amazing prices. The staff is friendly and very fast. My girlfriend and I come here all the time now. Love the breakfast! If youre every around and hungry give it a shot and you wont regret it.

If your in the older generation that has to watch their sodium intake you might like this place but as for me the food is flavorless the waitress was rude when i said i was allergic to eggs and still gave me eggs after she gave us the wrong orders all together

I had the all you can eat fish dinner special. The best cod fish Ive had in Howell area. I could only eat one plate. Three huge pieces of fish & fries ,a plate of veggies & salad for $8.00.

Breakfast here is really, really good...the servers work their tails off. And the price is very right. I tell everyone I know this is the place to be for a great, inexpensive breakfast.
