Avoid this place if you have babies or small children, or if you just dont want a side of raging sexism with your sandwich. We visited VSB for Mothers Day. I have a 3-month-old baby. She needed to nurse as soon as we walked in, so I eyed the one available booth amid a sea of available -- but very exposed -- tables, and I attempted to sit down and feed my baby discreetly while my wife ordered our food. I was approached by Nick, the manager, and told that I could not sit down at that table because there was a group in line ahead of us, and they might want that table. I was unsure of what to do because my baby needed to eat, and there were many other tables available. After witnessing the interaction, a nice couple that was at another booth got up, told me they were disgusted with Nicks behavior, and gave me their table so that I could feed my baby. After we ate, I asked to see the manager, and Nick appeared again. I tried to explain to him nicely why his request was so inappropriate under the circumstances, but he doubled down. He told me that if I "wanted to do that, we have bathrooms." Which is, of course, absolutely disgusting. I was upset, but he refused to apologize. I told him that what he said was sexist, and he would not say he was sorry; he just kept telling me he was "sorry I felt that way." I reminded him that it was particularly offensive because it was Mothers Day, but he told me it "didnt matter what day it was, its a policy every day of the year." I was livid, and I asked for the name and contact information for the owner. He refused to give it to me, saying he "doesnt just give their phone numbers away." (What? Its their restaurant.) I demanded their name, and he said, "Caleb." I said, "Whats his last name and phone number?" He again told me he wouldnt give the information to me. I demanded the owners full name and contact information once again, and he gave me the owners names -- Caleb and Ian -- but wouldnt give me their phone numbers. I asked for an email address, and he said no. I asked for a business card, and he said they dont keep them there. I think it was obvious that I was not going to leave without contact info, so he finally told me I could talk to someone else and brought me a random business card. It turns out it was the GM. The GM called me back promptly, and she was very kind, apologetic, and empathetic. She seemed upset by what had happened, and she offered me a free lunch. I really appreciated her response, but I am still writing this review because I think that Nicks behavior was completely unacceptable, and it should never have happened in the first place. No nursing mother should ever be made to feel the way I did. Newsflash, Nick: its 2017. Ladies with babies actually APPEAR IN PUBLIC. Sometimes their babies need to eat!

Dessert first. To say Im a lover of chocolate chip cookies would be a severe understatement. I absolutely LOVE the salted chocolate chip cookie served at Victory!! Last time I was there I waited 30 minutes for them to bake and it was so worth the wait - I even received an extra one for free since I had to wait so long. Anyway, their cookies are slightly gooey in the center, but not mushy. The edges are slightly crisp, but not crunchy. The bottom is golden brown and the top is speckled with sea salt. OMG - Stupid, insane, chocolate deliciousness! Now, the sandwiches are also great and use clever combinations of ingredients. I normally get two sandwiches with a side, and a cookie (or 2) and im plenty full. Their location is at the top of a big hill right next to the beltline which makes it a perfect mid or post workout treat! Inside, there are benches and high tops for seating. They also have a ping pong table in the back. PS: Really great view of the city in the room where the ping pong table is.

My visit to victory was extremely disappointing. To start with, the service was a complete joke. Our waitress came to our table maybe two times during our entire meal. They were out of every appetizer we wanted so we ended up ordered the pimento cheese dip. When it arrived, the whole thing was covered in bacon jam. We asked to get one without the bacon jam and the waitress said that we would have to pay for another order since they dont take things back to the kitchen. She didnt even offer for the manager to come out and talk to us. I will never go back to victory sandwich bar and I highly recommend that you dont either.

Cute little sandwich shop right off the beltline with outdoor seating and an energetic young staff. People like to label this a hipster spot but I guess a lot of people have no idea what that means anymore. Nice covered porch and fun sandwich combos make this a great spot for a quick bite. The sandwiches are a bit on the small side which is fine by me since most sandwiches hover around $4-$5 each. Get two and try something different. Be SURE to get the jack and coke slushee to cool off on a hot day; boozy and refreshing. You wont regret it.

This is just the sandwich gem Inman Park needed! And considering how crowded it is, everyone agrees. Sandwiches range from BBQ Pork to Sardines and all are priced $4-$6. You can also get starters and sides like Hummus and Ramen Noodles. Staff is knowledgeable and food comes out pretty quick. Dont forget to get a Bourbon/Coke slushy. Theres a parking lot out back but youll probably have better luck with the street. Also, the patio is pup friendly (woof!). #Atlanta #Inman #Restaurant #Sammies.

1st time... had the wife and kids with me. Hostess/Server/Bartender was friendly and energetic, but seemed a little stretched... but pretty damn good at multitasking! As I said... 1st time. Be prepared for unique flavors. Not the best destination for young kids that havent been exposed to diverse flavors. Might be smart to try it alone first before you take the whole crew. Almost had to pay for food we didnt like. But our hostess was gracious! Thanks VSB...✌

Marie was marching around dictating things while people were Fighting outside instead of tending to them. She is apparently the floor manager. . Having previous bar experience, I asked her what was going on. She ignored me while continuing to march around. Jessica was my short hair bar tender (blonde cut too short ). That underpoured while expecting to be overpaid. Also was slow. Only come to this bar if youre a hippy who smokes pot all the time.

Absolutely delicious! This place is located Atlanta so parking can be a pain however there is lots of metered near by. Its a small establishment so limited seating but well worth it. Kinda prcey but you get what you pay for. Depending on the type of sandwich, you can pay for a large 10 inch from $8 and up. Classic sandwich was served warm with lots of flavor, packed with turkey and salami. Cant wait to come back and try something else.

Definitely a weekly staple. Coke slushies. Highlife on tap. Ping pong. Patio. Perfectly sized pressed sandwiches. Cookies--eat them. All of them. Tattooed goddesses abound. Update--Please dont complain about the portion size of the sandwiches. Order a couple and live your damn life. If you want to ruin your night gorging yourself on extra potato chips and are looking for massive burger to cry into, go to Chilis. Please.
