Their delivery service is a joke. We were told our pizza would be an hour then 75 minutes later we called back and the person on the didnt write our number down correctly then took our number again and said he would call straight back to tell us what was happening. After 10 minutes no one called so we called back again and the guy still didnt know our number. He then said he would send someone back with our pizza with the right number to call us when he arrived. We imagined theres no way he couple mess this up. So my wife went to wait outside the apartment while it was raining for a further 20 minutes just in case and STILL no one tuned up. I called back to ask what had happened and the stupid guy on the phone said the driver couldnt contact me because my number was international so he didnt even bother sending the delivery driver. THE WORST part is he didnt even let us know! He made us wait the for 2.5 hours!!! SAVAGE PIZZA, I heard good things about your food but FIRE those imbeciles you have answering your phone. That was the worst display of customer service I have ever experienced!

Fun Comic Book Atmosphere but SERIOUS FOOD! Freshest ingredients, nothing out of a jar or can - chef quality effort! Super Family Friendly and at the same time, a great pub like hang out. Service is impeccable. Its in the heart of Little 5 and I take everyone who is visiting from out of town. I have people talking about Savage Pizza from Texas, New Orleans, DC, MAryland, VA, NY, Chicago, and Fla! They all agree with a Huge THANK YOU! I will say the only thing extraordinary about the pizza is the toppings, but I CANT SAY ENOUGH about the calzones! Make your own calzone, add chevre and fresh roasted garlic and fresh spinach and tomatoes and whatever else you like, and bring a friend because its HUGE. The marinara is good, but you MUST get the garlic white dipping sauce on the side, and brace yourself for the LARGEST glass of whatever you drink in town! Dont forget the $5 coupon in Creative Loafing!

Ok I walked in and fell in love with the place immidiately. Im a huge comic book geek and love Marvel to the fullest like the owner. This places atmosphere is like no other pizza joint in the country. Atleast for me and I have traveled a lot. However that seemed to be the only thing going for them. I had the pizza and the most recommended sauce to choose. Needless to say I was let down. They need to step the flavor in the dough and sauce. I can honestly say I have had better pizza from a Caseys general store and gas station. Is it horrible pizza? NO, but it isnt the best. So all I can say, is this is a good place for a change in scene or for a fun night with your kids. thats why it gets a lil more than half for me.

The first thing I would like to say is that the decor is very unique. It was nice to see the comic theme throughout the restaurant. The pizza however isnt as good as what everyone claims it to be. The pizza served here is decent at best. I was let down when I tasted it as I was expecting something memorable. But the only memorable thing about it was how it reminded me of any other pizza Ive had any other pizza place. In other words, mediocre. Dont get me wrong, the pizza is good but do not expect it to blow your tastebuds off. On a more positive note, they have a nice beer selection and the price is reasonably priced. I do wish they offered pizza by the slice though.

My old office used to order pizza here for lunch or events, and it was always a hit. Whenever Id visit the restaurant, Id build my own since I like having the option of including shrimp on my pizza. The Buttafuoco is a rare indulgence for me (lots of meat), so the Sav-veg is my go-to from the specialty menu. The last time we went there and sat outside, someone from another table THOUGHT they saw a critter crawling around (and not of the bug variety). But since I cannot confirm or deny that--since I took off running without looking--I will not count that against Savage Pizza. It did make for a hilarious story to tell later.

Great food, and comic/superhero geeks cant complain about the decor. Pizzas are great, and the breadstick appetizers are especially good. Didnt get to try a calzone, but odds are good that theyre worth it too. Comic book toys, pages, and art are all over the place so its just a good place to hang out and visit. One thing to note--When you go into the parking lot, it says that parking will be $5, but just let the attendant know youre eating at the pizza place--as long as thats all youre there for, parking is free. You can get cheaper pizza elsewhere, but I wouldnt recommend it.

Watch out in the check - the server can decide if they want to add the tip 18% onto the check! When she brought the charge slip to me she didnt bring back the original receipt that showed what we had ordered and that she had added on an 18% gratuity. We only had 5 people in our party! If I had not noticed it I would have paid the tip twice - instead they lost at least one customer that will never go back It says on their menu that they can add on the gratuity at their discretion What kind of policy is that? Pizza was good , service was okay

They have a parking lot but dont expect to park/adventure to other shops (you have to pay) if you leave that area. This place has the best speciality and fresh pizzas in town. We love to customize our pizza with extra toppings or make our own pizza. A large pizza (8 slices) is roughly $20 but well worth it for the fresh toppings. This restaurant is in Little Five Points which is a fun and very unique neighborhood in Atlanta. This pizza place fits right in with an artistic flare and comic book covered walls.

This is my familys favorite pizza place in Atlanta. Its a great place for kids or teenagers too because of the fun comic book theme and the pizza is very good. I also like that their parking situation is good and I dont have to drive around for an eternity looking for a parking spot. I took off one star because their bathroom cleanliness usually isnt good and their beer selection could be better even for a pizza place. Despite those flaws its my go to.

Was driving by and stopped on a whim. I can say this may be some of the best if not THE BEST pizza I have had in Atlanta. If you are sick of the status quo, Savage delivers 100%. The specialty pizzas are well thought out. Pitchers of 420 are $9 which is very reasonable, and will fill your glass 4-5 times. Staff is chill, and the place is clean on the inside. Will definitely be back.

Pizza is great..old white Manager told us he is not gonna change our server and old white lady (younger white staff) although she practically just through our drink order down and still got our drink order wrong took someone elses order before us. All he said was that we are busy. But I ah be been here during busier hours. This was the frigging worst!
