This place is our "go to" Chinese takeout. Stan is very courteous when taking orders over the phone, and always tells you the total amount, so there is no surprise when you show up to get your order. the food is prepared consistently and is always very good. There was one "deviation" from that over a year ago when a new hire oversalted (or too heavily smothered in soy sauce) a mooshu order. I called Stan (the owner, I believe) and mentioned it. He apologized, noting that he either had a substitute or a new employee (dont remember which), and indicated that wont happen again, and he would provide one entree complimentary. I told him that wouldnt be necessary, but he insisted. It was probably several months later when we next decided to order in from Yen Ching, and I had totally forgotten about the previous "incident". When I went to pickup the order he rang it up and then told me that we have a credit coming on the first entree (which I think was the pricier one). What a pleasant surprise! He is sooooooo honest and wants to do right by his customers!

(Sort of surprised by the previous reviewers comments!) Ordered three large items (Veg. Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, and Cashew Chicken) for 6 people. Total (w/ the 3 dollar coupon) came to be $26, and there were leftovers!! Everyone agreed that this was really good Chinese food (Im not saying this is high end, but cmon... for $5 dollars a meal... its pretty good). Not too greasy, the orange chicken sauce was perfect (unlike another restaurant that was just wayyyy to salty), and even the cashew chicken (which im not usually a fan of) hit the spot. Definitely gonna hit this spot again to try out the other stuff. :)

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Tasted like a frozen chicken nugget with an awful generic sauce and the rice and chicken had no real seasoning or anything.. seriously, worst Chinese food I have ever had and I never bother to write reviews. Oh and it was extremely salty... Im not even picky usually I am just appalled. I would have gone to the frozen aisle at jewel if this is what I wanted

Best Chinese food around! Take out or delivery only, but s okay. Fabulous family that runs the place. They will make special orders and do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. Been going to them for years and will continue to do so. Never order from anyplace else, even though it can take us up to a half an hour to drive there to pick up the order. Worth the drive and the time!

We moved from Plano and found a great chinese place in Oswego that we hated to leave. After trying some terrible food in our new area, we finally tried Yen Ching and love it! Will not go anywhere else. The guy who is there most of the time, I suspect he is the owner, is extremely nice to my husband and I each time we visit. No problem to order food with no msg. Great quality food!

Fresh, tasty food. Good egg rolls. Easy to order over the phone. Our order had 10 items and everything was accurate and cooked perfectly. I like House of Emperor a little better, but this is my 2nd favorite spot so far. Owner was very friendly and gave great service. Dishes had plenty of meat and vegetables, and portions were good sized, great value for the money.

This place is DIRTY. Just look at the napkins, cups and plates. The chicken was mushy instead of crunchy and I dont know what kind of chicken they use but the texture was disgusting, lots of lard and weird looking meat. It was just gross - the food and the restaurant. I would NEVER EVER go back.

This place has amazing food, a bit pricy but well worth it. its not open on mondays though. i have orderd from here many times and have never been disapointed. the owner stan is a nice guy who takes personal care of all his costomers.

One of the better Chinese takeouts in the area. Food is quite good, however on the pricier side. All the items on the menu are about $1 more than other local takeouts. Would buy from again just not on a weekly basis.

Perfect balance of taste and quality that one doesnt feel guilty of ordering out twice in a week. Simply one of the best if not best in 5 mile radius. My favorite here are Chaufun and Singapore Rice noodles.
